Great branch of an Austin based restaurant chain. It is one of the quickest locations when it comes to service. The food is always solid. Very accommodating to dietary needs: picky kids, low carb adults, vegetarians. This is a great quick service spot and it has it’s own parking, which on SoCo is a real bonus. My kids love the classic breakfast tacos. I love crossroads in a bowl.

We have not been to Torchy's in a while, but since we had an out of town guest, we wanted to bring her to an Austin institution. The food has always been consistent and fairly good. I mostly come for the salsas. We ordered 3 tacos and chips & guacamole. I typically ask for extra salsas at the front register where we pay. The young lady working on September 21 st @2:00 PM, gave us only 2 salsas. When I asked her for extra salsas, she gave me some major attitude as if I was asking her for her personal stash. I had to ask my partner to get her to give me additional salsas. And even then she doled out one at a time... I know this is just a job, not a career, but can we be more respectful of our customers. Thank you.

Truly enjoyed the experience at Torchy's. Nice selection of different tasty taco-lishus treats including; but not limited to Fried Avocado, Green Chile Pork as well as fun flavors like the Democrat, Republican and Trailer Park. I enjoyed taking pics with their Championship title - definitely a nice piece in their collection of wall goodies. They have inside and outdoor seating (pets are allowed outdoors). Place is clean, staff is polite and the food is good - WIN.

Went here late in the evening and was delighted to eat a couple of vegetarian tacos. The fried avocado was tasty and the sauce that came was amazing. The second taco was apparently not on the menu. The spicy sauce just made the tacos flavor really good. Service was quick and good.

The wait was 47 min (12 min waiting to order, 35 more min waiting to receive them). We ordered four tacos, two without cheese which the clerk confirmed, but he apparently didn't note that on the order and one of those 2 still had cheese. The tacos were good but room temperature.

My son just moved to Austin and we discovered this gem. The food was delicious and the lady at the counter was a sweetheart. Who new Texmex was this good. Came a second time to try new tacos and to take some pics this time.

Finally I got to experience this local restaurant that was mentioned many times in YouTube videos. Simple menu yet full of flavor. I had the Chicken Fajita and the Green Chile Pork, I'd liked the pork better. The chips portion is large enough for 2 people. Food is ordered at the counter and then brought to the table. Seating available both indoors and outdoors

Better than good tacos, but not “damn good” tacos. One thing I liked was that each taco had a pretty solid kick to them, but didn’t overwhelm. If you have an appetite for bland tacos, you’ll hate this place. Service was nice but they took like 40 minutes to pump out two tacos. They need to step it up in this area. That’s why they get 4-stars and not 5

Tacos are about 5-6$ a piece but they are worth it ! I also ordered the street corn can't pass that up ! Sat outside where it was shaded and it was great.

Not your authentic taco but still good food. I got a potato and egg breakfast taco and the Crossroads with no cheese, which was a brisket taco. It’s a little on the pricier side for tacos. It’s not very memorable but glad we tried them. We came back another day just for chips and queso and I’d definitely recommend it. It had a bit of a kick and some guac on top- very good. Big fan of the queso.

Got all the veggie options. Modified the potato one to not have egg. The Tacos are much larger than what I expected and would have been fine for two for breakfast. I got the vegan beef one and the fried avocado. Both were great and the Diablo sauce was spicy and added a ton of flavor. I'd suggest getting a few how sauces with variety to try out.

In town and was looking for a few tacos for lunch. Slid in here because it looked fast and cheap. $5 tacos and a 5 minute wait. Got 4 in total but they were pretty sizable so really only needed 3. Good selection of flavors and all the ingredients were fresh. Would recommend!

Not from Texas, so every visit to Torchy's is a welcome treat. Don't think I have ever been disappointed in a taco choice here. Usually get two but honestly one can be enough in most cases. Big fan of this as a breakfast spot (though I wish they opened an hour earlier) as the breakfast tacos are excellent, cheap, and come out fast even when the place is busy. Had a large covered outdoor seating areas and plenty of tables inside. Wish Torchy's would make it out to the west coast but that's life.

This place is a great choice for any meal in the day! I came here for breakfast tacos and was NOT disappointed. The food and options are solid and the queso is great! There's plenty of parking on the street and additional spots behind the building. There's a fair amount of seating inside and outside, and plenty to look at on this street after you eat. Make sure to visit if you're in the area!

Came here for a quick lunch on my visit to Austin. I loved the wide variety of tacos and different sauces. I opted for the tipsy chick with a side of bacon bourbon jam and it was well stuffed, juicy, and flavorful. My friends got the shrimp tacos, pulled carnitas, and beyond meat tacos which were all very good as well. Service was fast and friendly!

Torchy’s Tacos was very good!! I had the chips and queso, street corn, and the fried avocado taco. I was thrilled to see vegetarian options clearly marked as vegetarian. And they were much more interesting than a taco with cheese and beans. The service was fast and friendly too. I’d definitely say it’s worth checking out.

Flagship location in a happening part of town. All of the usual tacos and chips. Classic building design (renovated from a local hamburger joint). Not a particularly large location, but with relatively decent parking versus its size. Cool little devil!

Great tacos, made with fresh, authentic ingredients. Helpful and friendly staff, chill places to sit outside and eat. Delicious food and good beverage selection. Fun music and atmosphere, clean and tidy tables. Highly recommended.

The corn tortillas are awesome! We ordered twice, it was so testy. People work here are very kind and always serving with a smile. It's located at a convenient location, perfect place to eat if you are around to explore some local shops.

Super good! We came here while in Austin on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great concept. Tacos were delicious, and very filling. I found it to be affordable, a problem I often run into with artisan taco places. Nice atmosphere. Food was quick. The guacamole was delicious, and the queso was divine. Wish we had one of these at home.
