We tried this place twice while visiting Austin. It has a laidback, cozy ambiance and friendly staff. The food is great and there are a lot of options. The shrimp and grits are delicious as well as the pastries we tried. I would definitely recommend it for brunch or a coffee break but it does get busy sometimes.

Very cute hidden gem on West 6th. Excellent quality food served with nice cutlery and dishes. My daughter loves that breakfast is served late! Be sure to check them put during happy hour! The only improvement I suggest is keeping the seating area in the stone corridor room heated. It's literally freezing while you eat. Also, I asked for salt and pepper and I was brought two disposable ramekins instead of two shakers. Not only extremely wasteful to have a PINCH of salt in SINGLE USE plastic, but silly. PUT THE COFFEE ACCOUTREMENTS AND CONDIMENTS OUT.

Love this spot during off-hours! Trick is to go early morning before the brunch rush hits. Their coffee is brewed well, and service is always very friendly (they added cinnamon to my coffee upon request). Only tried the golden egg before - which was light, fluffy, and spiced like a snickerdoodle cookie - but it was delicious. A nice complement to coffee!

Ok, I'll admit I came here because I heard it was Sandra Bullock's restaurant, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Carmel latte and it was excellent. Breakfast options looked great but we got in late and tried the sandwiches. Both the Roast Beef Bleu and the Reuben were really good. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere.

Good lattes. We took combos of soup and salad/ sandwiches. Both the onion soup and the tomato basil soup were good. Bakery items looked tasty as well, but we haven’t tried. Unfortunately they didn’t have the full menu when we were there. Couple of tables outside and many more inside. The bathrooms were super clean.

No sign of Sandra but made up for it with some tasty brunch! Homely vibes and nice food, choice of two seating areas, both slightly lacking in atmosphere though.

Was my go to spot nearly every day when I lived around the corner from here. Place is awesome! Old school building. A bit tight, but worth it for the cool atmosphere. Outdoor seating is super tight. Can’t say enough good things about the food and drinks. Miss this place quite a bit. Not in the neighborhood anymore. Try the French toast and thank me later.

Best brunch I have had in Austin. I couldn't decide between the avo toast and the french toast, so why not both? Best decision ever, both are fantastic, presentation, taste, portions. The staff is friendly and the place clean and cozy. Will defintely come back .

At first we didn't know this was a restaurant. Being where it is, surrounded by bars, we assumed it was a other bar. Boy were we wrong. After smelling the food that someone else in our hotel brought back, we had to try it. We got the standard breakfast, a biscuit and gravy, and the grits. All of the food was so tasty. It was like the kitchen was full of loving grandma's cranking out their best food. The lattes were also excellent, prepared using their own house made syrups. We will definitely be back.

The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. However, the food is lacking. I got the avocado toast and the egg was very cold, like out of ice water cold. And I found a vegetable sticker in my food.

It is one of the nice spots for breakfast in Austin. I adore their rustic-chic interior and the pleasant atmosphere. The service is friendly, and you can certainly find something delicious for breakfast. I highly recommend trying the ham & egg tartine – it's fantastic! The crispy bread, topped with herb aioli, and the combination of ham and Swiss cheese pair perfectly with your morning coffee.

I am always looking for the best avocado on toast and this seriously is one of my top ones! The staff is friendly cause I honestly wanted to try something else the “Shallah French Toast” even the employe suggested and offered me that I could try a piece but I still decided on the avocado ad no regrets cause next time and I will be back and try the French Toast. The ambiance is perfect as there is even a flower shop inside. Definitely a stop to seat and have breakfast, lunch or just a cup of coffee.

So excited to hear about this gem from a friend that happened to be visiting the area. Please consider the wait time, as this quaint eatery is in high demand .. as they should be! The entrees were really delicious and taste of fresh farm to table ingredients! The French Toast has an unique crave worthy flare, as does the spicy Shrimp & Grits! We cannot wait to return! 💜

The Honey Almond Latte is the best! I had 3 within 24 hours. Excellent shrimp and grits and the fanciest avocado toast. Truly recommended for a delicious breakfast.

We stopped here because we got a discount thru our hotel. The staff was excellent. The Bistro is cute inside. I love the plant decor. We both ordered the breakfast tacos. I had one meat and one veggie. My buddy had two veggies. The eggs were light and fluffy and they had a decent amount of meat /veggies in the tacos. My friend had an iced coffee and it was a nice pick me up. We also both got a bakery item. I had the matcha and honey macaroon and she had the Danish. Both were delicious. The Danish was light and fluffy instead of being dense and I loved it. If your looking for something light this is a perfect stop.

It’s pretty hot in there, I’m not sure how the employees work there comfortable when one sweats in line. Shrimp and grits came with 4 shrimp; for $16 I figured there would be more. They don’t have sweet tea so don’t forget to ask for syrup for it!

Adorable shop with a variety of gifts such as flowers, potted succulents and cactuses. Their coffee beans and house-made simple syrups are available for purchase as well. The bakery menu offers a huge selection of delicious desserts, including their amazing peanut butter cookies! Great spot for a quick bite or a coffee. Highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor, skip looking at the menu and just get the Challah French Toast. Thank me later. If that’s not your vibe, and you’re more in the mood for a sandwich, the Turkey bacon croissant sandwich is a solid choice as well, the Turkey Sweet

The most popular is the french toast. Oh yes it is that good! They have the best shrimp and grit too.

This is definitely worth the stop. The bakery goods are yummy. Coffee is a local coffee and it’s so good!

Great ambience for brunch. I ordered crab benedict, which came with a bowl of fruit. Both were made with fresh ingredients and tasted excellent. The latte was also good. They also have a lot of fresh baked goods and local products to purchase. One thing I would like to see improved is a greeting upon entering. We had to look around wondering where to go. From the time we placed our order though, service was friendly.

I recently visited this coffee shop, and I have mixed feelings about my experience. The avocado toast was absolutely delicious, but the chai tea latte left me a bit disappointed due to its overpowering cardamom flavor. The cashier's attitude was less than friendly, which was a downside, but the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and made up for it.

This was a great spot for a quick lunch! Get the half sand which and half salad combo! It’s enough food. (I asked girl if they had any combos and she said no, then I read the menu and saw they were!!!) anyways, it was a good option from more expensive restaurants around here. Something light and tasty. Combo was $13 and cup of soup $4. I had spent $75 the previous night at a restaurant in the canopy hotel and the food wasn’t worth it. So I didn’t wanted to make the same mistake for lunch.

Sunday, October 1, 2023. Incredible! Blueberry muffin was the best I ever had. Lemon cheese cake pastry was amazing. Latte was off the chart.
