Absolutely delicious pizza! Definitely worth the half hour wait to be seated. We tried 4 different pizzas and every single one was amazing. Our server was awesome - very warm and attentive, and patient as she explained each of the pizzas and their ingredients. Our first time trying Detroit style pizza and we won't forget the experience. Thank you!

Great spot for Detroit style pizza. The service is always good and the pizza is great. We stop here for takeout on our way home on a regular basis.

I have no idea why I didn’t know about this place. Definitely one of the better Austin pizza places. The Detroiter was awesome. Has a little more spice that your traditional pepperoni pizza. Crispy sides. Sauce is on top so kind of seems more like cheesy bread pre-dipped.

Amazing old school deep dish Detroit style pizza. Wonderfully balanced flavors on spongey, buttery, chewy crust cooked in unique pans which are sourced directly from Detroit, reclaimed from automotive assembly lines, previously used to store and move spare parts. There’s nothing spare about the pizza though. Top gear! The cheese does that cool stretchy thing.

The Good: I have been searching for a good pizza joint ever since moving here from Chicago, and this is definitely the closest I have ever come. I tip my hat to you. Crust is light and buttery, cheese is perfectly crisped, pepperonis perfectly curled, and the sauce has just a touch of heat. *chefs kiss*. The "Bar-Style" pizza also reminded me of the Chicago Tavern Style as well. The Meh: There was an issue with the ovens and they were running an hour behind. They did give me a free drink of my choice at the bar which was amazing. I only mention it because the 2nd time I went to get a pizza they were also very behind. I am not sure if this is a reoccurring thing or if I just got unlucky twice.

Ordered take out online (large carnivore, nothing special) was pleased to see that they claimed it would take only 26 minutes. In reality it took 55 minutes. Not fun to sit around for an extra half an hour in the crowded pick up area. [Edit] After i got home, found that their idea of "large" should not be worth $30. See image. Pathetic.

The service was ok, I think the food took a little too long to come out. They did not seem that busy. I decided to try the bar style pizza and I was not impressed. However I did enjoy the vegetarian pepperoni. It’s always nice for restaurants to have vegetarian/vegan options. That was a nice addition to the pizza. The artichoke dip was very good as well. I did not like that I was only giving 3 chips to eat the dip with. I think they should have given me more. I also ordered a margarita which was good but again not special and another drink. I can’t remember the name but it was smoky something. I’m indifferent about it. It was a little too smoky for my taste. I know it has smoky in the name so that was on me 😂

I spoke so highly of Via 313. But this visit was everything went wrong. They brought out one appetizer, which was a salad. And they totally forgot about the second appetizer. It took more than 30 minutes to bring out my appetizer. Then they bring our pizza on this ( look at pictures) like they really didn't care at all. Lauren was amazing. I wouldn't want to take anything away from her with this review. Now, the manager with the ponytail who didn't introduce yourself! Wasn't very helpful, but definitely rude.

Our server Ryan went above and beyond once we told him it was our first time at Via 313. He recommended the jalapeño poppa pizza, which we got, and which was amazing. There was a long wait, but we were able to walk down the strip mall to juiceland and get a latte to kill time. My husband had a $3 lone star(!!) and I had a couple of very tasty margaritas. We also had the hot artichoke dip which was interesting and different with crunchy crostinis, and the hot brownie with ice cream for dessert which was just drreeeeamy. We’ll definitely be returning!

Very very delicious. I loved the pizza we got but I forgot what it’s called. It has pineapple, pepperoni, jalapeños. Heat is spot or without too much spice. The pepperoni pizza is also great. Get the ranch…it was delicious to dip pizza into. Worth the extra charge. Cooked to perfection.

I don't think restaurants should do businesses this way. I doordashed this dairy free cheese pizza for $33 plus tax and tip. There is literally no sauce on my pizza. The hot honey side sauce as seen in this picture was $2.50. TWO DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS for LESS THAN AN OUNCE of sauce. I'm fine with paying a premium price for food, but this kind of price gouging is simply unacceptable

Thick, delicious pizza. Not too crowded on a Friday night. Gluten free options were awesome. I recommend the anti pasta salad - sooo good! The omnivore pizza was on point. The only issue is that we had a large group, and the servers had a hard time dealing with us, even though we were super nice. It really shouldn’t have been as stressful as they made it out to be. Other than that, it was great.

Austin is pretty far from Detroit and Chicago but Via 313 doesn’t have a competitor in the area that can touch the quality and flavor when it comes to deep dish pizza. In fairness, I have only tried the Oak Hill location and haven’t had the opportunity to try the thousands of establishments here in Austin (yet), that specialize or just have good pizza on their menus. But as a traveling pizza enthusiast, this pie is currently the best in the area. The sauce is spectacular (not too sweet and not too tangy), the crust is amazing (crispy and chewy all at the same time), and the toppings are quality fresh ingredients that make the pie stand out that much more remarkably. As for the price; it’s much more than a fast food joint, it’s not priced like a Michelin rated restaurant (which I’d be concerned if they even served pizza ;), but what it is, is great pizza served at a price that reflects its quality. The only complaint I have, is that the bar is small. It can be like Mad Max racing to get a seat for a pie and a pint. Lost revenue opportunity in my book, but the something the owners can figure out. Enjoy the pizza!

Wanted to try this place out. Service was good First time trying Detroit style pizza. WAS NOT A FAN. . had pepperoni and bacon… the bacon seemed to be undercooked. but maybe that’s my preference (i like crispy bacon on my pizza) We ate two 2 slices each out of the 8 slices …. didn’t even want to eat the rest of it cause once it gets cold it doesn’t seem appetizing anymore. Tried putting red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese on it. didn’t seem to do much. I will say the crust of the pizza was pretty good. My bf got the House salad… the vegetable proportions in the salad just seemed awfully big. especially the carrots. he did like the cucumbers tho. 1 more thing … the marinara sauce that comes on top of the Detroit style pizza is very light so if you like that then 👍 Venue is pretty small compared to what i’m used to. You’re pretty much out in the open. there is a bar so that’s cool if you’re into that.

Stopped in with family, nice location. Good selection of cold beers and lots of different varieties of pizza. The appetizer meatballs were delicious and went fast, hence the lack of meatball pics :) The pizzas were hot and made just as ordered, fast and friendly staff. Will definitely return next time I visit Austin!

I love Via 313, amazing pizza! I'd never had Detroit style before and now it's my favorite! The crust is so tasty, great toppings, nice bar and beer selection. The wait staff is superb, always get great service. I would have given it 5 stars but when we went recently, apparently the AC wasn't working and it was so uncomfortably warm in there, I don't know how your staff can work under those conditions. And I can't imagine what it's like in the kitchen! We went about a week or so later and it still was stiflingly hot. Summer in Texas, dudes, get that fixed. I don't want to walk in for a pizza and feel like I'm walking into a pizza oven.

I have to say this place is awesome.. from the beers on tap jellyfish must have with the arugula salad. This salad was my favorite of all the food here... thirsty goat amazing, zilker was great and the pearl snap.. all austin native beers I got.. but their beer list is long.. Modelo and rotating drafts.. I got two pizzaa.. the Cadillac and the ambassador bridge.. they were both great with different beers.. the ambassador bridge was great with the jelly fish lank pizza and zilker.. this place is awesome and then it ended with the pretzels and beer ice cream desert.. a must have.. this place is phenomenal. Sienna was such a delight.. the sincerity of recommendations blew my mind.. this place is definitely a place to come back not only for the food which is most important but the staff..

I had a great dining experience here! Anastasia was a awesome server, I did come while I was celebrating my birthday and she made my experience feel so welcoming! The pizza was really good also. Def a 10/10

If you are seeking a new experience with pizza, this is the place to go. We tried the Cadillac, with it's perfect combination of delicate and sweet flavours, and the detroiter, a rich and refined taste on the traditional pepperoni pizza.

Vegetarian and vegan options. Their Detroit style pizza is fluffy and delicious. Our server even gave us a little piece of pizza dough for our daughter to play with. I saw your dinos. Was it in your napkin? It was our first time visiting so they server gave us a delicious dessert on the house.

I'm going to start with four stars because I did not get to eat the pizza yet, but I already had a chance to check out the service and the inside and everything that I'm seeing is very impressive! The folks at the bar, Christina and Len were so friendly and helpful and excited about the food which is new! If the food is anywhere close, I'll be returning! Nice job management, looks like you've got a strong team:) thanks guys for surprising my expectations UPDATED! So after eating the half Cadillac, half Ambassador pizza, WOW! The flavors were really amazing down to every bit of that crust, my dog was very disappointed I did not save her any, but def worth a visit
