DELICIOUS CHICKEN & PANCAKES! Yummy coffee. Definitely try their queso, it's amazing! The fish and chips were great too! It's a relaxed diner atmosphere, totally hipster vibes, I love it! Shout out to our waitress Taliana who was a great server!

This is the original location of an Austin based chain. Come for the pancakes stay for the true Austin casual hospitality. My daughter adores the hot cocoa here. My son is pancake king. I love the omelets, the chicken tortilla soup ( hold the chips and corn), and queso. The parking is less than ideal. God speed on that. Sometimes you can grab a street spot. This is Austin’s iteration on a diner. There is something here for everyone.q

The original Kerbey Lane is an Austin essential and will forever serve up mighty fine brunches. Pancakes are their signature and it shows. Each pancake variety is well cooked and enormous. The seasonal specials are worth noting because that's where the creativity shines. So visit twice. The first visit should be for a brunch staple, and the second visit should be for a seasonal dish. Skip anything Tex-Mex, always get the queso.

Kerbey Lane Cafe is one of the BEST places to visit with your dog(s) in Austin. Not only is the customer service superb, but the food is freakin' delicious. It's an A+ in my book. The first and foremost thing that Kerbey Lane has provided us with was superb customer service. All of the staff members we have interacted with was so kind and generous. Upon arrival, they provided water for us and our dogs. Most of the staff members came out, provided bacon treats for our dogs (after asking for approval), and spent some time with them. This was such a nice gesture because our dogs love and need more interactions with different people. Moving on to their delightful appetizers and entrees -- we ordered Tamarind Glazed Brussels, Crispy Chicken Benedict, and Eggs Francisco. Everything was *chef's kiss*. The Eggs Francisco was exceptionally good, as well as their Tamarind Glazed Brussels. I'm pretty sure everything else on their menu is tasty and delightful. Kerbey Lane Cafe was such a nice place to visit. We were greeted with warm smiles, and we weren't seated closely to other people. Everything was great -- I have ZERO complaints about this place. I highly recommend a visit or two!

If you're gonna go to Kerbey Lane, go to the original. Dog friendly. Beautiful building, location and gorgeous crape myrtle trees. The food is great, well priced and the staff is very responsive and genuinely sincere. The parking can be a bit hard to find, but definitely worth a short walk if you can't find anything street side.

Our waitress was great, food is awesome, I got the chicken Benedict and it was one of the best I've ever had. Service isn't crazy fast, bit everything is home made so it's understood. We had a great time.

My husband and I were visiting Austin for the weekend and visited Kerbey Lane Cafe for breakfast on Sunday. I’m gluten free and their website touted ‘no one does pancakes like Kerbey’s’ and they have gluten free so off we went. We started off with a bacon Bloody Mary and Spicy pineapple margarita. Personally, I think they were over priced, but tasty. My husband got the chicken and pancakes. Buffalo drizzle on the chicken with some cinnamon sweetness added into the pancake were tasty. He said he would have preferred the chicken to have been coated in Buffalo instead of the entire plate drizzled with it, but overall he enjoyed it. I got a half stack of gluten free pancakes with blueberries and a jalapeño sausage. They pancakes had a very healthy amount of blueberries. Unfortunately, they were very dense, grainy and hard. As you can see from the photo, I barely ate half of them and when I’m craving pancakes, that’s unusual. The sausage was tasty. Would I return? Based on the other gluten free options available, no. HOWEVER, my husband is not gluten free and he said he would.

Came for dinner while in town on family vacation. We wanted to find a place that's unique to Austin. Since I need small portions, I ordered the kids cheese burger and added bacon and sweet potato fries. My children ordered chicken tenders with fries. My mom ordered Pancakes with eggs and sausage. Our food and service provided was good. It was nice to see unique forms of art sold by various artists around the restaurant, made for good points of conversation.

Good ambience and cottage feel restaurant. Got to know this is the original first restaurant set up by owner by combining two houses to facilitate the food and dining services. We had chicken & pancakes, Chilaquiles and Cuban Pork Benedict in two occasions, it’s so good!Server is polite, enthusiastic and attentive. Food is tasty and good portion too. There is only limited parking space available nearby the restaurant. Have to drive a little further to find more parking lots. The place is dog friendly too as diners can enjoy their food at the outdoor tables too. Will visit the restaurant again.

The best breakfast in town, unfortunately the service is reaaaally bad. - The waiter never came and when I saw someone to take my order, she looked annoyed and what I ordered did not arrive correctly. - Our new waitress forgot our drinks (2), I reminded her and she only brought one of them and the other never delivered to us - after that, she never showed up again until she bring to us our bill without asking (was there a rush for us to leave?) I honestly loved the food even though the order wasn't even complete but it was enough to satisfy us. I hope improve the service because they leave a lot to be desired.

Came here on Halloween 2023. Food was almost as bland as the waitstaff. It was clear they wanted us to leave, despite us walking in over an hour and a half before their closing time of 8:30. I’ve included pictures of my vegan, underdone pancakes as well as the tofu scramble taco. In the pancakes you can see the inside is basically just gel. They were hard on the outside. The tortilla for the taco was hard, as you can see in the picture it is staying upright. Tofu scramble had a crust over it but became softer as it was eaten. All of these are signs of food being microwaved and then sitting for too long before being delivered to the table. Despite all of these things we still gave our server an 18% gratuity though they largely did not deserve it.

Pet friendly! Food was delicious! I had a Cobb salad with the cilantro vinaigrette, it was fresh and scrumptious!!! The waiter brought out a fresh bowl of cool water and some biscuits for our puppy. We sat outside in front of the restaurant, there was a fan keeping us cool. . Bathrooms were clean and staff was very friendly!

Pumpkin pancakes were the right amount of sweetness. Most places make them too sweet. Coffee was good, and the bacon was cooked well.

Been going here, the original location, for over 20 years. They recently built a new restaurant in San Antonio so I felt it necessary to take the old lady by the original one while we happen to be in Austin. As before, was not let down.

Food is pretty good, american style breakfast all day diner vibes. Place was packed with very few staff so service was very lackluster. Had a pretty decent IPA on tap.

I enjoyed this kerby on central rather on william cannon, their macroni was more fresh and creamy. William cannon kerby has macaroni that was like eating instant microwave food. Also central atmosphere was more comfy, like eating in a train box car in a good way, william cannon looked like a regular restuarant

A nice quaint cafe with all day breakfast. The food was pretty good but no real wow-factor on flavor. The waitress was incredibly attentive and nice. I might have missed a lot somewhere but parking seemed minimal; although I was lucky to grab a street side spot nearby.

Really friendly, helpful staff!! Regarding the food, I had the Classic Queso with pork chorizo, as well as the Chicken and pancakes, and they were both delicious -- also, their hot chocolate looked (and tasted) amazing!!

A nice little place hidden away in Austin. Good food and kept clean. Nice staff although a little bit overzealous/pushy on trying to get people to order.

We were only in Austin for 1 night and looking for a good place to eat. The hotel suggested Kerbey Lane Cafe. It was TERRIFIC 😋. 👍🏾👌🏾 The place was a converted home and the whole area had a real hipster vibe. The food was excellent and surprisingly affordable. The whole
