My friend got a bowl here and we were both disappointed by how paltry the helpings were. I’m super surprised to hear others felt it was generous because it felt like the employee was going to great lengths to even remove food from the bowl if it was more than three pieces. I’ve heard that the price of fish has gone up exponentially in some places but I think there might be better ways to account for that? If they are concerned about giving too much food, perhaps limit the number of toppings a person can add so the amount can be more balanced? Because the end result was really meager and sad. The fish also seemed to be off because my friend experienced stomach issues afterwards.

Very refreshing house iced tea and decent sized poke bowls for the price, and there are a lot of topping options. I love their tuna and spicy mayo! The couple who works here are pleasant. The interior is a little small but they also have outdoor seating. Highly recommend it you like seafood :D and even if you don't, they have teriyaki chicken, beef, and spicy pork.

First time visiting today for a late lunch to go. I ordered a regular sized poke bowl with half rice/spring greens, all sorts of veggies, 3 diff fish (spicy tuna, tuna, salmon), and the medium spicy sauce. I walked down to Wooldridge Square to enjoy the meal outside under some shade and it is delicious! The portions were appropriate considering the price and quality. Only a mile from where I work so I will definitely return.

Great place to get a quick bite! Fish seems good quality and they’re really generous with toppings :)

Decent quality, the salmon was good, and the sauces were tasty, and service was quick and the people working there were kind. However, the white rice was cold, and they gave *very* tiny quantities of ginger and crab salad and seaweed salad even though I was more than happy to pay extra. When I asked four double quantities of ginger and seaweed salad emphasizing that I didn't mind paying extra, they still gave a tiny amount of each. The crab salad is a weird texture, not shredded imitation crab like most places serve - it's diced or blended or something odd which makes it mushy.

Tik tok brought me here, and I am so upset this place is closing down. The poke here was fresh and delicious! I got the salmon and spicy tuna. The service was wonderful and it’s so conveniently close to campus. I highly recommend trying this place and supporting this local business!

Disappointed... Upon hearing that they are being forced to close i told everyone i could to support them and noticed that a lot of people are doing the same. i stopped by last week to show my support and saw a long line which i was happy to stand in however, when i received my portions i became incredibly disappointed. So many of us are trying to show our support and to be served such small barely there portions made me feel like our the loyalty we showed them is not being shown to us customers. Yes i was given a huge helping of rice but i want fish to go with it in the poke bowl. But instead i ate rice with some bites of fish. When customers show up for you, you should give them the normal serving sizes otherwise it leaves a bad taste in their mouth and you end up losing the clients that would have followed you anywhere. I would have come back if food was sold out. I certainly would have gone back multiple times before they closed but unfortunately i felt like i was being told not to bother . It's a real shame, i like the owners but this is a bad decision. I'm sad. I feel betrayed

EDIT: Just found out that Poke Bay's lease is being terminated. Go there while you still can! This is possibly the friendliest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to visit. It's the only place I've ever been where the owners greet me by name when I come in, and even more amazingly greet my daughter by name, even though she's only able to come in on days she doesn't have school. We never fail to have a good, though quick, conversation as the food is being prepared, and it makes the already delicious food taste even better knowing the care and heart that goes into it. While I'm not the biggest fan of deconstructed sushi, it's quite good. For me, though, the BBQ pork is the star. It's outstanding! And the portions are VERY generous, which makes it even better value. All in all, this is my favorite place for lunch near campus, and judging by the crowds I've seen the last few times, I'm not alone in my impression. Well done, Poke Bay!

Owner of this restaurant has a lot of experience to operate restaurants in the US. All the ingredients such as meat, vegetables, sauce and rices (brown rice and white rice)are so fresh and clean. Prices are also very reasonable and quantity/quality are very satisfied with me. I really enjoyed a lot there, talking with the owner couples and part time staffs, they are absolutely warm and kind with smiley faces. Strongly recommend all of you to visit here and enjoy various kinds of flavors.

Fantastic place to get Poke and Hawaiian BBQ. The food is fantastic and the service is phenomenal. Definitely a go to if you're near UT's campus.
