Probably the best Italian food & dessert we have had in a while! Incredible taste and flavors throughout the meal…appetizer to dessert!! The house limoncello was a nice touch. There was nothing ordinary about anything we tasted last night. Loved the outdoor patio and live music. Free parking at the Arnold parking garage was a nice perk. Totally recommend trying this restaurant!

An amazing Italian dining experience, wait staff was amazing and very attentive. Extensive drink menu, with an amazing happy hour deal (half off). Pasta was fresh, and appetizers were on point. Will definitely come back.

Always great food and service. I’d recommend not sitting outside due to the grackles yelling throughout your meal, but other than that everything was lovely. I especially appreciated how accommodating they are to vegans, and really enjoyed the aperitif sampler they have on offer. Everything tastes fresh and decadent, and the free house made limoncello shots at the end of the meal really set the tone for the whole experience. If I had one suggestion, it would be to put the vegan pasta option as a named menu item so I don’t have to specially request it every time.

We had such a wonderful experience at Il Bruto! The patio is perfect for Texas spring and the service was incredible. Our waiter Deshawn was so knowledgeable and gave us the best recommendations. We threw a bunch of different palettes at him when asking for a wine recommendation and he took the extra step to ask his manager what she thought just to be sure. For food, we had the ravioli, burrata pizza, lasagna, and swordfish. All of it was incredible, but the lasagna was the real stand out!

Modern Italian spot with a cool vibe inside. Lasagna was really good and flavorful. Espresso martinis we’re pretty strong coffee wise. They were great!

Visiting from Chicago and a friend recommended this place. Was not disappointed! Olivia was our server and she was absolutely fantastic! Ordered the lamb ragú pasta, Cacio e Pepe, and a margherita pizza. All the dishes tasted very homemade and wholesome. Topped it off with several gimlets. Probably also one of the best tiramisus I’ve had!

We had a fantastic experience at Il Brutto! Tomas, our bartender/server, was truly outstanding! He was so attentive, friendly, laid back, professional, and a million other positive adjectives that I could use to describe how awesome he was. He made our whole experience absolutely fabulous! Now, let's talk about the food! It was AMAZING!! We had mussels and a margarita pizza...and both were mouth-watering bits of heaven! I would give this restaurant and its service 10 stars if Google would let me! :) Thank you for a wonderful evening and delicious dinner!

Well worth it. The food is amazing and unique. So many things are made in the pizza oven including the addictive bread!Lively atmosphere and welcoming staff. Extremely attentive and we felt pampered and not rushed. Great patio and plenty of seating at pizza bar or regular bar. It’s perfect for dining solo, date night spot or with a group of friends.

One of my favorite spots in Austin. Authentic Italian experience down to their selection of amari, aperitif, vermouth, and digestif. Food is delicious. The staff always has something extra special in store. Servers, hosts, and bartenders have always been amazing since I started going. And one of the best happy hours in town with $15 pizzas at the bar and half price all alcohol!

I’ve been to Il Brutto twice now and it’s solid! A bit expensive but the food is very good. Tips: it’s better for a smaller group or a date than a big group, the agnolotti is incredible (though the portion is small), and the heirloom tomatoes with burrata are amazing.

Lovely waiter. Loved the dark moody walls. The place was hopping on a Monday glad we snagged a reservation. Olives, mussels and pizza all shared with orange wine. Who knew orange was the new red?

Great food and ambiance. Service was excellent as well. We ordered the scallops for appetizers, squid ink pasta with sea urchin and papardelle. Paired with white and red wine, which the servers are well versed in. Ordered the tiramisu cake too which was excellent! Portions are not too large. They are just nice!

Loved it. For me, the pizza dough is very important when it comes to a good pizza, and i could've keep eating and eating more, it was so tasty. The Heirloom Tomatoes with Burrata was surprisingly our favorite dish, full of flavor. The pasta was good, out of the two we had I liked the Cacio e Pepe more. My highlight was that they didn't have a Limoncello Spritz on the menu, I asked if they could make one for me, and they did! So appreciated. Service was great, friendly, resourceful. We had a great time here. Would recommend outdoor seating if the weather allows it, but indoor seating is pretty comfortable as well.

The food here was yummy across the board! Everything was delicious, Brian our waiter was knowledgeable and pleasant and the huge tree in the center of the outdoor seating area is definitely a statement piece. Our large group unfortunately was not sat together despite our tables being relatively close to each other. When asked if we could pull them closer we were given a hard no. Aside from that, we all enjoyed the meal and ambiance.

Italian? Yes please. This authentic Italian restaurant has such an excellent food you would just order more to go and that's what I did!. I'll leave you with the photos as I can't give the food it's worth with just text. I ordered the tiramisu to go and woh it was something else, better than the one I had in Venice. Enjoy.

Had a Birthday dinner here and everything was delicious! Made reservations a few weeks before. The star of the night though was the Beef Tenderloin, simply exquisite as well as the mussels! Those were our favs of the night! The gave birthday ice cream and lemoncello shots at the end of the night! Great spot for a special occasion!

It was a cold day when I stopped by, but the warm atmosphere at the bar is one that I’ll be back for. We ordered appetizers, main course, dessert and espresso. Loved everything! The portions are great size so you actually have room for dessert. The GNOCCHI is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Be sure to stop in here.

Came in for dinner a few weeks ago and had a lovely dinner for two. To start we had a round of Aperol Spritz with the Scallop Crudo and Heirloom Tomatoes. The crudo was OK, but the tomatoes were super fresh and the burrata that came with it was delicious. For the mains we got the Cacio e Pepe and Pappardelle with lamb ragu. The pappardelle was our favorite, but the cacio was just as good. We saved room for dessert and got the tiramisu which was incredible - definitely leave room for this! They had a great wine list by the glass, and topped off your meal with a shot of delicious limoncello with your bill. Excellent service to top it all off, will definitely be back to taste more!!

Had a very pleasant experience at this place. The food was yummy, although I'd love to see a better ratio of cheese to tomato on the burrata appetizer, and the caccio e peppe was a bit salty. The drinks were good although we didn't get a chance to sample the limoncello which I learned they were famous for so still gotta go back for that. The dessert was amazing and the pecorino cheese ice cream was to die for! Service was outstanding, our server did a wonderful job and we also got to meet and interact a bit with the bar manager who was wonderful as well.

From Beccas Bach Party (pink light up cowboy hats): Iana was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! She made us feel so welcomed and was very attentive to such a big group. Thank you so much for making our dinner so special! We will be back!

Service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The lasagna was delicious. The pizza was okay. Prices were outrageous. For that reason, we will not be returning.

Friendly service. Amazing Italian dishes, the flavours are complex. One of the best funghi pizza I ate outside of Italy

Awesome spot with hip vibes on the popular east side. Good wine selection. Pasta, pizza, appetizer, drink selections all good. We got the trio tasting appetizer which had three spreads, a very fresh pesto, a red pepper spread and a cheese one. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but the three spreads are the colors of the Italian flag, red, white, green 🇮🇹. I also loved the tiramisu which had salt sprinkled. Lovely twist. They serve complimentary limoncello shots with your bill. How cool is that!
