DISGUSTING!!! A band-aid with blood came inside one of the flautas. Manager comes in and takes the plate with no follow-up. This tells me the people in the kitchen are not using gloves and probably not even washing their hands. Definitely no quality control or safety. Hope this place is shutdown by the city!!!

It’s Chuys. Nothing better than the jalapeño ranch. I would bathe in it if I could. I’ve never had anything less than a perfectly amazing experience here. Food is perfect, staff is amazing and they are absolutely not rushed so you can enjoy the time with friends and family. Every time I get to Austin I’m going to Chuys.

Dominic was the best. We've got two kids under two years old so getting in and out while still enjoying ourselves is important and he made sure we could by providing quick service. The food was great too. Fresh and flavorful. This is our first time to any of these locations so the decor was pretty interesting as well. I wish it wasn't as cold so we could have sat outside. They have a great area for that.

The experience was nice and lots of vegetarian options in comparison to other restaurants. The margaritas that we ordered were nice we as well. Overall the place wasn’t that crowded on a Friday afternoon. Located in the arbor trials complex which houses Costco, Whole Foods and others.

Try the Braised short ribs im red chili for a tasty authentic treat. This pairs well with lots of flour tortillas! The beef is tender and boneless, smear some refritos on a tortilla and load it with this juicy red chili beef. WOW! Do not forget to try the New Mexican Martini, made with green chili infused tequila.

Really enjoy Chuy's, lots of fun, lively staff. It's usually really busy, especially this location. They will get you a table pretty quick, if they quote a half hour, it's usually closer to 20 minutes; love the underpromise over deliver there. Another of times we'll "start" at the bar and just stay there. If you like Tex-Mex this is a great spot. Juan at the bar was great, healthy pours in the Maragritas, Mojitos and whatever else you're drinking. My go to is now the ChuyChanga, it's like a deep fried burrito. Did I mention the portions? You will not go home hungry, or thirsty for that matter.

Great Mexican food! The steak fajita is highly recommended, served with burritos and other veggies, coming in hot! And special thanks to the waiter Troy H for his hospitality, and hope you’ll enjoy your college life!

It's one of my favorite spots to eat. It starts out with chips, salsa, and jalapeño ranch dip while you decide what you want to eat. I highly recommend this place. Tex-Mex.

I would like to comment on the entire staff they are extremely helpful and efficient. Are food is always right and it taste good . I would like to recognize two of your members who I believe to be outstanding. His/her names are Adrian and Sunny we need more people like them please hire great people like them. But overall the GM Eden is what makes this place amazing she brings food out for us and asks if we are ok.

We had a party of 12. Huge, my son paid for all. My daughter-in-law's moms birthday... Everything was 👍 GREAT, , I expected a huge taco shell where taco salads are in that crispy bowl shell🥺 the strawberry/ mango margarita was delicious, except it was lite on tequila. I didn't taste it all all. I drink twice a year, I expect to have more liquor in it.. my hubs lime margarita , same no buzz at all, very little tequila 😳. This was over $250.00 check also....

This place always have the best beef fajita. I always come back here for this specific dish and I always enjoy it as the first time. I recommend it and have in mind that they made their own tortillas so when your food comes out it comes with homemade hot tortillas. The best! Friendly and attentive staff , great service, great prices. This time I tried for dessert the Tres Leches and it was a little different as the traditional ones I had tried in the past but still so delicious 😋, you should try it next time too.

Good food, good portions, and good atmosphere. Fajitas tasted pretty darn good and service was lovely even though it was super busy in there. Cooked to rare and medium rare just how I like it.

If you're wanting vast quantities of Tex Mex for a reasonable price, look no further! The amount of food you get is more than enough for one person. The food itself was alright, but I think the real pull of Chuy's is the spectacle of it all. It's quite a weird location, a big mix and match of different styles all blended together. It's a funny place!

I wasn't crazy about the wait time on a Sunday right after opening but overall great Tex-Mex food at a reasonable price. The sizzling fajitas for 1 is more than enough to feed 2 people and the frozen margaritas are spot on, on a hot summer day in Texas!

Chuy's was a surprise this evening! The food was for the most part was delicious. My Chimichanga with chicken an the sauce was made out of hatch chillies. An it was a delightful an had many layers of labor!

This review is for a recent curbside order. We ordered 3 items but each dish was not made properly. Veggie fajitas were like 75%+ onions for the veggie portion. The other two items ordered we specified, no onions but both still had onions. Otherwise, the taste of the food is normally great. With dine-in this never happens, but to-go orders are usually not done right.

Atmosphere and service are enough to keep you coming back here. Servers are attentive and the bartender will ensure your thirst is quenched! I came with coworkers for a happy hour and enjoyed a selection from their Texas Sized Drinks. I ordered the shrimp tacos to eat and while the plate satisfied my appetite, it was the flavors that could’ve used a lil more love! Overall a great location to visit time and time again!

June 2023: Chuy’s Tex-Mex is still consistently good and return to this location and others every month or two. This lunch visit had less customers mostly due to school is out and probably everyone on vacation. I enjoy dining in the bar but this time around decided on a table due to the lighter crowd. I noticed the main indoor dining area was much brighter where perhaps lighting was change out making it easier to read the menu and admire the nice portraits on the walls. I ordered the Deluxe Chicken Enchiladas and a Chuy’s Famous Rita Swirl (Lime and Strawberry). The service was still great as usual and alway nice to look around for something new and different with the place like the t-shirt designs in front. The margarita was a little fruity and It took a while for the alcohol to kick in. My plate arrived and tried the enchiladas. I like the way the roasted chicken tasted with the deluxe tomatillo sauce and cheese making it very favorable. It was not spicy. The Mexican rice and refried beans were also good too. Been eating at chuy’s since 1980’s as a kid and still the place to go for Austin Tex-Mex cuisine.

This is actually the worst Mexican food I ever had till date and the service is pathetic. The hostess was not friendly and kept ignoring and forgetting our request. Meat was hard, tortillas was dry, taste at its worst.

Authentic Tex-Mex and plenty of it. Extremely attentive and accommodating staff work there. The food is very good and there's always enough to take home for a late-night snack. The atmosphere is fun, albeit a bit loud, but not too much. Fun decor and clean rest rooms. Of course, I will be back.

Great Tex Mex food. The Spanish Rice is a little too bland. Then on one plate the rice was hot the other cold? All the other items were good. The restaurant was not that crowded lots of tables and booths. The lady took us to a table in the very back corner. Never asked if this was good just walked away. Poor staff not well trained at all. The experience started off wrong and nobody likes cold food.

Absolutely love Chuy’s and this location is my favorite. Such a nice patio area and plenty of indoor seating. Ben was a fantastic server and took great care of us. He checked back with the table throughout our meal and delivered everything quickly.
