We were just exploring 6th Street and came upon the Iron Cactus which was actually one of the few restaurants open at 11:30 am. As we were on vacation we had drinks and chips. The bar has a full line up of quality Mescal and Tequila. I had a regular Margarita on the rocks and it hit the spot. Service was personable and the restaurant was clean. We had a window seat to people watch and enjoyed our break here!

Cool atmosphere and big portions. The food wasn’t insanely good, but the vibe made up for the food. The chips, salsa and bean dip for free also helped bump me to 5 stars! Lively joint with good people watching and sports on the TVs at the bar if you so desire!

Everything was delicious 😋, and the black bean dip was addictive! Enjoyed the Mango Jalapeño Margarita.

I’ve came here a several times for lunch and there’s always something wrong:/ Once it was under cooked salmon that took 30 minuet to remake. Another time it finding 1/3 of a piece of salmon in the Ceviche Shrimp Salad. Staff excluding management always seem to be off and offer the bare minimum in service. I think the best thing I’ve had from there were the quesadillas…

It has a great ambiance and the staff was friendly and very responsive. They have no paper menu and you just have to scan a qr code for getting the menu on your phone, the menu is very much extensive and explanatory. We ordered 3 non-vegetarian dishes and two veg dishes. The waiter messed up while taking the order and bright 4 non-veg dishes making one of my vegetarian friend eat chicken for the first time in his life. Other dishes, were very much bland, I'm not asking for hot food, but there were literally no spices.

Truly an authentic Latin restaurant. The menu is extensive and everyone in our six person party had a delicious meal. The Decour is beautiful although the music was just a bit on the loud side.

We usually dine at the Domain Gloria's Latin Cuisine butI was meeting a friend who was in town for a business trip and staying at the Aloft, so we tried this Gloria's as it was near by. They have the same menu and the same prices as the Domain location which I have found to be an exception not the rule for down town restaurants. The food and service were just as good as the Domain location which makes it some of the best in Austin. Unfortunately, I was so caught up in conversation with my friend I completely forgot to take pictures of the meal. You can reference my review of the Domain location for pictures. I had the Fajita burrito plate and it was just the right portion to satisfy my hunger without having left overs to deal with. The Fajita beef was quite tender and had delicious flavor as well as a decent amount in the burrito. I really like Gloria's Spanish rice which is some of the best you will ever have. My wife had the combination plate and loved all of the offerings. My friend had the chicken enchilada plate and said it was excellent. Truly great Latin cuisine!

One of my favorite places to visit when I'm downtown. Love sitting on the patio on a nice afternoon. The food is great, I'm pretty diverse with the menu and haven't had anything I didn't like. Most recently had the steak chimichanga. It was delicious. The drinks are a bit strong for my liking, but I'm sure that's a plus for some. 🍹

This was not our first time here but it was for brunch. We know that the restaurant I pretty good and tasty but for brunch things are different. The atmosphere is like dinner: loud music and pricey items. I ordered huevos rancheros and they are 13.50 with tax. Knowing how much food costs that’s super pricey for a Mexican/Latin restaurant. I’ll be back for sure for dinner but definitely not for brunch.

Great food great atmosphere was really surprised by the quality and the quantity of the food. Our waiter was slow to get started but once he got going he was great. Will definitely return to this Austin Gem...

Best service I had in a long time. They're friendly, fast, and I help safe the whole time. They have hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in, none of the seated tables were close to each other, the whole staff had on mask. Their Salvadoran food and drinks are awesome as well. Jose our waiter was excellent. I'll definitely go back.

HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY. Our waitress was great, she suggested great drinks and was very polite. The food was fresh, filling and most importantly delicious. The decor and space were elegant, without the expensive prices.

This star of a restaurant lies deep in the heart of 6th street. We were pleasantly surprised by our night out at Gloria's. The chips and salsa were amazing, the drinks strong and affordable, the menu full of options and wait staff friendly as can be. I can't imagine anything being bad on the menu. They were 4/4 at our table and everyone left satisfied with a vow to return soon.
