I'd probably give it 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up because I'm feeling generous. We were here for an anniversary dinner, which we let them know. PROS: 1.They have ambiance and a lot of cool seating areas. 2. Our server was great, attentive, but not overbearing. 3. I was able to get an off the menu cocktail, which was delicious. 4. The starter came out quickly, and the time between courses was perfect. 5. The food was solidly good. The rolls: amazing. The salmon: very tasty. The Chicken: fine. The brussel sprouts: pretty good (some bits were very big, but it was cooked well). The special dessert they brought us was really, really good (blueberry pound cake). 6. Complimentary valet made it easy to get in and out. 7. Calling out separately because I really appreciated this: our server wanted to provide something special for the anniversary, but she wasn't sure if champagne or a dessert would be better, given that we'd ordered dessert and I called at one drink because I was driving. So, she asked! CONS: 1. For all of the cozy seating options, we were sat directly behind the host stand at the front door, despite it being early, having a reservation, and it being a special occasion. This was probably the worst seat in the house (though I do enjoy judging everyone who comes into a place). 2. It was overly air conditioned, so bring a wrap. 3. It was expensive. Totally fine, I love a good expensive meal, but it wasn't great enough that we'd likely go back, given the cost. 4. The chocolate mousse wasn't a mousse (now like a crumble?), and it was not good. And I love chocolate, it's my proverbial jam.

beautiful and delicious. would recommend for a date night or people visiting austin. it’s a little pricey (dinner entrees in the $20-$30 range), but the quality matches the cost. ordered the octopus starter and the mushroom pasta entree. both were beautifully plated, perfectly portioned, and tasty. staff was friendly and attentive. sat at the back bar which is over 150 years old and so pretty to look at. they have complimentary valet which seemed to be the only parking option.

Enjoyed a beautiful rehearsal dinner here with friends. Our party had a reserved table in a semi-private area of the main dining room. We enjoyed delicious craft cocktails and several artful appetizers - the panzanella salad was amazing! For my main course, I had the Lion's Mane Mushroom. This was such a unique dish filled with earthy and rich flavors. At certain points throughout the evening, it was pretty difficult to hear, the restaurant became pretty loud. Overall, it was a great experience.

Had the pleasure of dining here in Austin for a special occasion with my partner. Eberly is absolutely beautiful. VERY aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Our service was fantastic. We chose to sit outside in the patio which was BEAUTIFUL. The weather was nice and made our evening just that much better. We both had a great time! Ugh, fell in love… The food was delicious. The menu was quite unique, but I managed to try new foods. Would I come back? UH. YES. I really enjoyed the bar area. Such intimate ambience in which we enjoyed a conversation over Old Fashioned(s). Beautiful, wonderful, and attractive night (….. like my partner).

🍃Eberly 🌿 Our dinner here was throughly enjoyable. Let’s start with the atmosphere. The atmosphere was incredible - high end everything. Dim lit and very intimate. Restaurant was completely full by about 6:30pm and it was a Tuesday. The service was also very top tier. Came around a very good amount, was very timely, and prompt with suggestions. The food was impeccable. I went with a larger group and we were able to try so much on the menu. There were a few items I would not skip at all. The Crudo: ours was with kampachi and had several citrus pairings - truly incredible. The oysters were the highest quality I’ve had in Austin - bravo to the chef for selecting these. The chickpea fritter was also 10/10, please keep this on the menu forever. The entrees were also just amazing. The pork chop was an American twist on a SE Asian comfort curry. Loveeeedd this. The beef short rib was melt in your mouth good - pair this with the crispy potatoes and you’re golden. The lion’s Maine mushroom was also just so packed with flavor and perfectly paired together. Our waitress told us to go with the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and this did not disappoint at all. The caramelized fig was to die for. Overall, Eberly wowed me and everyone in my group. I will be back again and I am very excited for that time to come! Cheers!

Perfect birthday dinner . Austin and any visitors to my community, I took my wife for her birthday dinner. Used the online reservation which worked perfectly, table for 2, I drink/she doesn't. I had a Bramble cocktail and then we split 3 dishes. grilled octupus, mussels and the Striped Bass. Pictures attached. Eberly gave my wife a small birthday treat (off menu) item and we still ordered a desert which was the seasonal Rhubarb pudding. Amazing! Can't wait to go back! Don't forget to have a drink at the historic and world renown bar which was transported from Manhattan NYC!

The food here is amazing. We didn't have reservations, but the hostesses were able to find us a seat at the bar right away. The bar was full service so we were able to order food from there. The bartender was super attentive and awesome. He was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. For starters, we had the Japanese Milk Rolls, Crushed Potatoes, and Brussels Sprouts. All 3 were delicious. The milk rolls came with herb butter sauce that worked well with them. The Crushed Potatoes we're nice and crispy and the green goddess sauce was unique and nothing like I've tasted before. My favorite was the Brussels Sprouts, but it's mostly because it's my normal go to at restaurants. The bartender recommended us to add chicken to our Mushroom Mafaldi and he was right. It was a home run. They grilled a chicken quarter to go with the pasta and it was cooked perfectly and so tender. The Grilled Octopus was probably the most unique dish I've eaten. Between the grilled flavor and the puree and greens that came with it, the combination was outstanding. We saved room for dessert and I'm so glad we did. The Chocolate Caramel Breton was to die for. The sourness mango gel helped cut the sweetness of chocolate crumble and caramel. The peppermint ice cream had just the right amount of mint flavor and was definitely and great way to end the night.

This is one of the most elegant and beautiful restaurants in Austin - oozes NYC vibes. The mushroom pasta dish and Japanese milk buns are phenomenal; romantic ambiance - great for a date night

ADA wheelchair accessible, Dog friendly enclosed patio and free valet parking. Chef Jo Chan from Top Chef 19 making the menu...great food with a perfect price point. Beautiful restaurant. I would recommend this place to anyone...so Instagram-able. Yum.

So over all we enjoyed our experience. Food was good but not amazing. The drinks were better but pricey overall. The ambience was the greatest asset of this place. Service was good and the complimentary valet is a nice touch. At the end of the day we had hoped for more, but were let down by the food. Just a few small improvements would have made the experience much better. We would still come back especially with out of town guests for the setting and the picture opportunities. It is a very “Austin” unique place.

The service and staff are solid- Professional and don’t rush you. Drinks are better than the food. The food..are not great. They are extremely over-seasoned. We were informed upon arrival that the restaurant had a new head chef. Great! And the new chef doesn’t know what is the salt being worked with? Tbh I had low expectation before coming in. The menu is just boring to me. The presentation looks solid but can you re-think the ingredients that’s being used? Do they really enhance the flavor of the dish? Do they work well together? Are line cooks doing their job correctly? (Btw my uni pasta was undercooked) To me, lots of work needed to be done to catch up the beautiful interior design/environment this place offers. It’s doubtful I will return for the food anytime soon. Also, the pictures I took are better than the food itself.

DO NOT plan a large birthday dinner here. I reserved a table for 12 to celebrate my birthday and the staff made me feel less than welcome...probably the worst place I could've chosen to spend a birthday. The service was pretty much nonexistent, we placed our orders and didn't see our waiter for about two hours until we received our food. They didn't think to check in during that time, nor the rest of the meal. For birthdays, the staff sign a card and throw it on the table in front of you without saying a word, I think my head was turned and looking back, found the card with their signatures. In addition, they charge $4 per person, if we want to cut our own cake in their restaurant. For a party of 12, wasn't worth spending almost $50 just to have our cake there. Next time, I'd rather spend my birthday elsewhere to actually have a special time. The food quality was just okay, until we got to the main entrees. I ordered the short rib and this was so incredibly over-salted, it was basically inedible. Other people in my party said the same thing. I ended up saving it, so I could make rice later to drown out the saltiness. Overall, the dining experience from food quality to service was extremely disappointing, especially for a restaurant so highly regarded. Based on my experience. the only thing Eberly has going for them is their ambience, they have a cool looking garden room that we were not able to reserve. Perhaps would be a better experience coming with just one other person. Gratuity of 20% is automatically included in the bill and there is complimentary valet parking.

My friends and I visited this place recently. It was right before the sunset and it was not too busy. Service was expedient and courteous. We sat in the beautiful area that was enclosed in glass. The dim lights and greenery really made it spacious and lovely. The appetizers we had were fantastic as well. Overall, food quality was divine. We even got to learn a bit of history of the bar in the back area. Not many knew that it was originally from New York. Definitely recommend it for a fancy night out for a date or some great double date options. One word of warning, bathroom is extremely dim. It doesn't have obstacles but for those who do not have good vision, like me, please be careful!

The salmon mousse appetizer was the star for me. Also well balanced cocktails though nothing super creative on the drink menu. If you're getting there close to 5, recommend grabbing a space at the bar in the back which becomes quite lively. If more of a date night, recommend the main dining area then ask for patios seating upon arrival if possible. Do not sit at the front bar because it's more of a staff hangout area during slow times. Sitting in that spot, I overheard someone getting trained on one side and staff personal issues discussed on the other side.

I had a nice dining experience at Eberly Restaurant in Austin, though it wasn't without a few small misses. The standouts were definitely the trendy decor and craft cocktails. As soon as I walked in, I was wowed by the chic interior design. The dining room features gorgeous tile floors, dramatic pendant lighting, and an elegant bar as the centerpiece. It's stylish while still feeling warm and inviting. The food overall was pretty good, though a little inconsistent. Service was attentive from the moment I arrived. My only complaint was that the dining room was eerily empty when I dined even with a reservation. More lively energy would enhance the experience.

This is my 3rd time coming to Eberly and they consistently deliver. Food 10/10. We got the short rib and half chicken. Omg. The short rib melts in your mouth. The carrot purée and crispy carrots that came with it were the perfect compliment. We weren’t a big fan of the mushrooms that came with it. The half chicken was well seasoned and moist. We also got one of the zero proof drinks: blackberry mule. It wasn’t bad. A good option for those that don’t drink alcohol. And for dessert: we got the crème brûlée and sticky toffee pudding. My favorite was the sticky toffee pudding! This is a great place for an elevated experience. Service was great as always. I’ll be back :)

JADE is the absolute best, she made our first experience at Eberly such a positive one. She was personable, memorable, attentive, and genuine. Everything about our brunch was perfect. I tried several cocktails, but I’d have to say that the Rose Sangria and the Nitro Espresso Martini were my favorite. For mains, we had the Avocado Toast with an egg on top, and the Fried Chicken Sandwich with fries — both were delicious. Eberly is definitely one of my new favorite spots in Austin, I can not recommend it enough!

A mixed bag experience with the food but the service and atmosphere made up for. My wife and I were served raw chicken that was not edible, our server was amazing and apologized for the kitchen's mistake. Luckily the restaurant did the right thing and comped our meal without us asking. The beyond pines drink and pastries were excellent, the chicken sandwich was not. Well definitely give this place a second try because the atmosphere is incredible and the service was some of the best we've ever had. Just won't order the chicken sandwich again.

Such a chic spot for brunch! We came here for a bachelorette party and the restaurant is stunning! The food was delicious as well. It did take a while to get our food and drinks but we did have a large group of 9 people. Definitely enjoyed our experience here :)

Delicious food! What to say? So starting from the beginning, the milk rolls were light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The oysters were a hit at the table. The croquettes hit the spot and the poke had really creative presentation with the flavor to back it up. I'd definitely come here again.

Fun spot for a unique experience! They’re open for bunch on the weekends and it looks like they’re changing the menu on a regular basis with the pictures of the bunch food. We had the Southern Style Benedict & monkey bread. The Benedict was only 1 Benedict instead of the traditional 2 - the jalapeño bread was so delicious and the toppings was a great compliment. Monkey bread was just the right amount of sweet to balance out the Benedict. Great interior design with a speak easy feel! Loved all the different spaces in the restaurant.
