I’m from Jacksonville Florida. My family took us to Kerbey Lane for brunch. I tried the Green Chili Mac with the fried chicken tender topper and it was amazingly good. Such a huge serving I ate my fill and brought some home too. Love that they’re pet friendly and also that they have a full service wet bar too. Will be back!

Brunch was decent. There were 9 of us so we had to wait ~30 minutes. I think the best is cinnamon swirl pancakes-really fluffy and full stack size larger than your face. I tried the enchilada Benedict and was underwhelmed. Overall decent place, mimosas pretty standard. Service was fast when we told the waitress we needed to rush to other plans.

First try of one of Austin « institutions » as I was told. A very good experience. We went there for breakfast. The sauce that goes with queso is very good. The best one I ever had. I took the blueberry pancakes but regret not to have selected a more elaborated dish. The restaurant claims fresh and home-made food. One thing that typically makes me think that food is home-made is that if you ask for a change, they easily accept. This was the case here. We were offered a salad fruit which is nice. The waitress paid a lot of attention to us. Very good service. We went early in the morning and could get a table fast. After 9:00 am people started to queue for getting a table. A sign that says a lot about the appraisal of the place by people. Happy to discover the place. Quality of ingredients: 5* Taste: 5* Service: 5* Ambiance: 5* Quality/price ratio: 5*

We went there to have dinner. We had sweet potato fries, grilled chicken panini sandwich, pan seared salmon with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes as sides, and one french toast. Sweet potato fries and the panini sandwich were too good. It’s been a while we had such delicious sandwich. It deserves a 5/5 at least according to our taste bud. Pan seared salmon was good and decent. It was not something special. A regular pan seared salmon. However, stir fried sprouts probably mixed with BBQ sauce was super delicious. From my point of view mashed potatoes could have been a little better. It didn’t taste like the regular ones. And lastly French toast, we didn’t really like the french toast. It lacked the texture and amount of ingredients (Butter and sugar) that makes a french toast. We could call it a healthy french toast , ha ha. Ambience was really good and the service was even better. 5/5 to these. I would definitely recommend my friends to go there and I will also go there again to try something else.

no longer a local, austin, family owned business. things changed when mason took over and they went corporate. bad owners + underpaid & overworked staff = bad food. not worth it unless you want novelty pancakes. but don’t go here if you have food allergies bc of cross contamination. worked here over 6 years at multiple locations. have multiple friends who used to work here. everyone got out as soon as they could. 0/0 (pic=roommates raw burger from today. i ate a breakfast platter and got sick too.)

SO friendly! From the hosts to the servers, everyone was so friendly. Not only that they spoke to each other with kindness and respect. Lots of please and thank you. It was really refreshing. I spent half my life in service industry and the vibe in there between all humans was fantastic. Way to go! Also, the food is perfect as always. The Eggs Francisco is my all time favorite but the cinnamon swirl is amazing! 10/10, will eat again.

Previous positive experience has brought us back time and again. Food is wonderful - coffee is some of the best I've had in a restaurant. Our attendant has always been upbeat and given us good recommendations on the menu. I've had several of the seasonal menu items and they have not disappointed! Would 10/10 recommend.

OMG we love this place! Had no clue that it was a local, historic gem, we just stopped in to snack on something really quick before an event and ended up staying for a complete 3 course meal. I had every intention of saving some fried green tomatoes to take home to my kids but I just practically inhaled them 🙈 Soooo good. Every single staff member we encountered was wonderful. Great place overall.

Frankly, food was decent, but nothing special for brunch. Our server was very nice, but not sure if they are also dealing with shortage of help. I think he was maybe overwhelmed, but we didn’t see him often. It took us awhile to get little things like silverware or water. We also ordered with him and he missed pancakes for 2 people. When we did finally order them, it took them awhile to come out. Regardless of if we used the app or ordered through our server, it took awhile for anything, even if it was just coffee. I would probably pick another place over this in the future

Great breakfast or cafe options with Austin flair. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. They stay open quite late as well, which has come in handy before.

Went here today for breakfast. It was very busy but we got seated immediately. It was okay place. Our server was really not there. It took her time to come to us and also get simple things like straw or syrup. We all ordered(party of 8) and one of us didn’t get our food. She said she put it in and wondering why it didn’t go through. It was annoying. The food wasn’t that great. I got the crispy chicken Benedict and tasted spoiled. The chicken didn’t look cooked in the middle and hubby said I’ll find out later lol. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Had breakfast here. Was not overly busy and the food was quite good. Had the Fried Green Tomato Benedict and the Eggs Francisco. Both great. The poached eggs on the Benedict were perfect. Will be back!

Wonderful food and the staff is always amazing! Since the pandemic I have ordered take out more than dining in though which is super convenient. In front of the restaurant are parking spaces with the number to call and that’s it. Like that they have some vegan options as well! Cheese dip is amazing!

Went here while on vacation and we are so glad we did!! The Migas was so delicious!! Never had this before and now I make it at home! The Lemon Poppyseed french toast… divine!! It would he a perfect dish to share though since it is on the sweeter side.

This is a great place for breakfast, the greeter was extremely friendly and the food was very good. There are a lot of delicious and healthy options at this restaurant. The restaurant is a bit crowded and my server was satisfactory. Overall, it was a good experience.

This is a brunch spot but I made the mistake of getting salmon tacos. It lacked all the flavor so don’t recommend. Server was amazing though. The atmosphere was ok. Since my big group sat outside and thought it would be fine with the fans but it was still quite hot so I don’t recommend sitting outside this summer.
