👍 Ramen Tatsu-Ya has great interior decor! Feels very Japanese. The menu can be a little confusing for a first timer but the cashier does a great job explaining how things work. I think the menu items are priced fair and the ramen is very good but a little on the too salty side. I still would recommen... This restaurant was suggested by a friend who lives in the Austin area. I forgot to see if they required a reservation, which is HIGHLY recommended. From the moment I got there, to the moment I left, I was so pleased. The amazing hostess walked over and asked what name my reservation was under. I told her I wasn’t able to secure a reservation. I was on my phone looking for somewhere else to have dinner. She walked back over and said someone was running late and she may be able to help me out. About 20 minutes later she sat me!!! I wish I had gotten her name, but she totally went out of her way to help me. The food was AMAZING, atmosphere was a total vibe, and the staff was on point. Thank you for making my first trip to Austin incredible. (I visited on 1/28/2022).

As an avid ramen enthusiast, this place is HANDS DOWN, the best ramen I’ve ever had. The Mi-so-hot bowl is the perfect amount of spice, and the toppings are so fresh that all of the flavors sing in perfect harmony when they hit your tastebuds. Nothing on the menu seems to disappoint. Not only is the food something to rave about, but the vibe of the restaurant is truly comforting and authentic. Do not miss out on this ramen shop. Its nestled in a spot filled with tons of food options, but this will always be my first choice when in the area.

Great place, great food. One of the best ramen restaurants I've been to so far. The options are great the add-ons are delicious. The spicy noodles are to come back for. Service was quick and the server was very nice. A great aura and great overall experience. Good place to go alone and eat or go with friends. I love the mi-so-hot (I think that's what it was called) I give it a solid 7/10 only because I was expecting something really spicy, taste buds were a little let down. The flavor and all else was perfect though amazing flavor. If you're looking for a place to eat, this is the place.

The spicy edamame and the ramen was tasty, the adult beverage was delicious and the atmosphere, nice. The only downside is that once you are seated, you have to get back in line if you want to order something else. For example, I wanted another drink and I was told by the staff that I had to get back in line, not ideal.

One of the best Ramen places in Austin for a great price. The broth is the real seller to their ramen. Comes close to the broth I’ve had in Japan. So much flavor! The sauce to dip the Gyoza was amazing so I had to ask for a small container to go. You best believe I’m making stir fry w/ it. The only semi con is the amount of sodium they add. Notice they don’t have salt 🧂 out for a reason. It’s tradition to drink the broth after all the noodles are eaten. I wish I could have but I couldn’t. Nonetheless best Ramen! The south Austin location on 6th street is the largest location they currently have. Busiest times are during lunch and dinner. Come before 5pm your more likely to seated right away.

Everything good, but ramen just okay… I would prefer noodle cook extra 2 more minutes… waiting time 20+ minutes when arrived at 7pm. Love the little side—-Spicy Edamame here !

Always an amazing experience at Ramen Tatsuya. I hadn’t been here in a very long time, and I was satisfied with the whole experience. I came in at around 3:30 PM. There wasn’t many people. It was very chill, the music was very good. I ordered them mi-so-hot, very delicious, the broth was thick, the Ramen was served hot. I don’t know why I decided to eat this on a hot day, but man was it bomb! I enjoyed it very much. Only some cold weather could have made my experience better.

Long wait! But it was worth it. Ramen came out hot, fresh, and delicious. Mi-so hot was def spicy, but it was flavor packed. Worth the hype. Also ice cream cookies appear enticing. However, way too rich. I would avoid it

Really hip and delicious ramen shop! Servers are friendly, food serves up fast after ordering using their QR code ordering system. I got a bowl of their original ramen. Their decadent pork bone broth goes amazingly with their ramen. Chasiu meat were succulent. Only bad part is they only give you a single slice of it. Wish there was more! Definitely go on a weekday when it's not as crowded since you may be seated right next to a stranger during the crowded times.

Still has it. Maybe better than ever. Price is respectful. Atmosphere is so fun, service is humble and informative. Food is balanced and well made. Food can out by the time we got to the table. Kids crushed both pork and veggie ramens.

Great environment with friendly and quick service. The broth was very flavorful and indulging. I would recommend the Spicy-Miso for any of those spicy foot lovers. Great for a date night. fyi, they have bottled coke and apple soda for those Mexican soda fanatics!

This place is famous for a reason! The vibes are immaculate and the food is delicious aswell as HUGE. I got the Mt. Fujiro (18$) and it was delicious! There was a bit too much so I wasn't able to finish it all, but they had to-go boxes next to a really cool looking water dispenser. The other ramen seems to be smaller and cheaper, around 13-16$ a portion. The drink selection is also great, if not a bit pricey. I got a peach ramune and that was about 6$, pricey but I haven't seen that flavor in the states. I also got a box of matcha pocky to snack on the go and that was around 3$. I would HIGHLY recommend this spot.

The Tsukemen here was amazing!! I thought it was better than the Mi-So-Hot that I tried. The broth was super flavorful and stuck to the noodles well which made each bite super flavorful. Overall I don't think you could go wrong ordering anything on the menu but for me the dipping ramen was a standout. The service was quick, you order at a counter when you walk in, then sit down and they deliver the order to you. Overall, I'd definitely return whenever I'm back in the area.

We’ve gotten the OG, Miso Hot, and Miso Not. All three are great! The hot is decently spicy. The atmosphere is so cool and they have a bar attached too with outdoor seating that you can order food at! I will say we’ve done take-out and ate there several times and for whatever reason it is always better there! Super affordable for the massive amount of food you get! Highly recommend.

So glad we opted for something new!!! This place was amazing! We walked in, ordered and before we could get our water our appetizers were out! Omg the karrage fried chicken was so yummy! Super crispy! The Gyoza was perfectly pan fried and the sauce’s delicious.

Yum! Our ramen came out so hot and so fresh! We loved it! I added a spicy bomb to my tonkatsu and it made it perfect! Be sure to try the gyoza. The dipping sauce that comes with it is so flavorful and the perfect addition. I wasn’t really a fan of the spicy edamame. I wish it was spicier and less tangy.

I know when my husband says, "This is so good," over 10 times while we're eating that we found a great place to eat! I am a sucker for unique places and foods, and this is one of the coolest restaurants I've been to. Waiting outside wasn't bad. They had mist going to keep the patio cool. Right when you walk in, you order drinks and your food and get a number to put on your table. It's self seating, on big communal tables with some smaller booths/tables and a bar along the sides. A server will bring out your food, and we were mostly left to ourselves after that. Price is good, food is amazing, atmosphere is neat... highly recommend Ramen Tatsu-Ya!

This is a very good ramen restaurant!! My husband and I both enjoyed a lot. The soup was very tasty and creamy. You can taste that they put effort to cook the base. The noodles is like the thin ramen but not too hard and not too soft. We highly recommend this restaurant!! 😋😋

Any time I travel I’m always looking for some quality Noods! This place didn’t disappoint! I love that you put in your order at the front before being seated, it allowed me to have enough time to grab some water, my seat and have my appetizers put right in front of me. We were lucky enough to be seated on a corner of the bar where we had a clear view into the kitchen. Being in hospitality myself, I love watching the kitchen do it’s thing! Chef was killing the game and over seeing all the orders to make sure every order came out perfect, meanwhile doing a little air drumming in between. 🤘🏽 Now for the food, it was AWESOME! Rich and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, great toppings. Definitely will be back to this gem next time I’m in town.

I’ve had ramen before but this place was amazing! The food is amazing and the broth has so much flavor! The atmosphere was very community oriented. If your a person going in alone it’s very easy to find people to socialize with
