The service was pretty bad. I got the trio dip because our server told me I couldnt just get cheese and chips🤷🏽‍♀️ the cheese was cold so, I asked to have it microwaved. My bf got a burger same scenario

Great meal and menu! We were looking for something more on the light side and we're pleased with this. It was not crowded and our food came fast and was delicious. I highly recommend the Mac and Cheese Egg Rolls! Our server was great.

We’re tourists from Chicago who wanted to watch a college wrestling which is hard to find at any bar really. Our bartender, Han, was so accommodating and fun. She made killer margs, was so kind, and took great care of us!!! She gave us phenomenal recommendations too. Be sure to check out the chicken place next door too. Same owner and manager is also so nice!!!

Waited 45 minutes for a drink, and barely got it. Asked 2 different waiters and waitresses to place a order and they keep saying ask someone else. Fat girl with tattoos and skinny dude with slicked up hair need to learn to work better as a team. It wasn't only our table but 4-5 other tables that we were talking to all frustrated.

Brianna went above and beyond. Came here on Easter and she was amazing. Cool bar and the best service we've received in Texas! Honestly ask for her and I'm sure your experience will be awesome. Thanks again Brianna! Watermelon Ranch water with jalapeño and chamoy rim.

My husband and I came here during our vacation looking for a burger and hot dog- both of which were listed several times on the menu. After trying to order, we were informed that they no longer had the selections and that the menu was ‘a little out of date’. We also tried to order beers only to find out that the draft ipa was also no longer available. Since we are not from here, I was not familiar with the beers offered so I asked our server which beer would be closest to a white or wheat ale. She did not know if any of the beers offered would fit that description..

Great place to have a beer and watch your favorite team play. They always go out of there way to look for your team playing on TV, if they have the channel. Kristen is a great waitress, even when things can get s little busy. She was always engaging and made sure to ask if I needed anything. Definitely coming back.

Pros: Had air conditioner Cons: waited awhile until a server came by to get drink orders (only 1 other table seated in the restaurant), water did not taste clean, fountain soda was warm, flat & tasted like yäger. Ordered apps & dinner, they were brought out at the same time - both cold. Server said they’re behind because of a catering order. Seems like something you could prepare for on a Friday evening.

Food is pretty good but I always seem to have a problem with pickup/delivery. Tonight I ordered 5 items through UberEats. Only one item arrived. Called the driver and she said that was all the restaurant gave her. Called the restaurant as was told, "Yeah, I see the rest of your order here. We have a new person working. Best thing to do is get a refund through UberEats so you can re-order and get fresh food." Of course, that means waiting another hour for food, and dropping another $15 to tip a second driver. So it's McDonalds tonight, and a lesson learned about BBG's.

I am stuffed! Great hamburger! Excellent staff, very nice young lady behind the bar on May 6, 2023 at 1:30. When I come back to Austin, I will certainly stop by for a burger.

If you are ever in Austin, it’s a MUST!! The bartender, Noah, is awesome!! 😎 He’s full of energy, hilarious and entertaining. Great food - and even better drinks!! Will be back for sure!

Came in for a weekend on a Bachelor party with the boys and these guys killed it. Kept up with our energy and made sure we felt welcome. Bryan was keeping the shots coming and put us on some new Texas drinks we didn’t even know existed. Definitely comin back next time one of us gets hitched

There is no reason why their food should be so good, but it really, really is. We were staying nearby and had read other good reviews, but were a little suspicious, but their food is stupidly good. We got the Mac & Cheese Egg roll and the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and it was delicious.

Wren was our server. Food was good. Between Wren and her bosses, we’ll never go back. I asked about food. It was all “ok.” Worst of all was being confronted by her manager to tell us we fell asleep when ordering. Been drinking? For sure!!!! Asleep?! Whaaat? That’s hilarious. Super cool they don’t like to listen to the customers story. We’re super kind and understanding - this place was very inconsiderate. There are so many places in Austin go elsewhere. They’re rude.

I was with a group of people for some Sunday football. LOVE that they had just about every single game on throughout the bar. Service was pretty good considering how busy they get. However, I was not a big fan of the food. The tots were a little on the salty side. The mac n cheese eggrolls was lacking any cheese flavor. The menu says that it's bacon cheeseburger filled, however, there was more mac then the bacon cheeseburger. I did enjoy the wings! The sweet hell wings were a hit.

What a cool bar! I typically don’t go to sports bars but the staff & company are so awesome here. Serena, the bartender, makes amazing margaritas. Def order from her.

Had a blast with my whole crew of 15 celebrating my daughter’s bday! Excellent service by April our server. And the manager Tasha was so friendly and make a hecka GOOD lemonade😋 For a great atmosphere, good food, and very reasonable prices don’t overlook this spot🫶

Boneless wings were incredible. Atmosphere was just OK - it is really dark inside. The service was really bad - took 20min just for a server to come take our drink orders.

Came in from out of town and this is supposedly a highly rated sports bar so we gave it a visit. Two drinks and we were out. Waitress was nice but clueless on how to make an actual drink. The other workers looked like angry locals that made the whole vibe not fun. I'm glad they had women's tennis on 10 tvs but we got one for our baseball game. BBG's is basically a dive bar that sells ten dollar shots.

Looking for a good place to watch mnf while I was in town. Found this place. Good atmosphere and games on lots of TV's in the place. Server was nice and was doing a good job. Only thing is the price. 10 bone in wings for $20. I guess cause it's a sports bar in Austin. Worth it? To me, eh. But you be the judge

We landed here after scouring Downtown Austin for the perfect spot to watch the USOpen. We hit the jackpot! Excellent but not overly attentive bartender. I believe he was a Manager. We spent close to 4 hours there , he kept the drinks coming and even okayed us bring Voodoo Donuts over. (Their neighbor ) Def a great spot.

We got here late as we were traveling and staying near 6th street. The service was good. The drinks were good. The food was standard bar food. I will say I did love how fast the food came out bc we were definitely starving after a day of traveling. Nothing mind blowing for flavor or anything but in a pinch we would definitely eat there again.

Burger was almost perfect. Toppings great, meat perfect but…. There was a spot of mold on my patty. Chefs need to be more vigilant please. Thank you for the nice Tater tots though!

Thanks to Harrison my first experience at BBG's very enjoyable. Stopped by for a late dinner and drink while in Austin for the first time for a conference. He was very welcoming, made great cocktails, and we had great conversation. The food was great too. I will definitely return to say hello the next time I'm back in Austin. Keep up the great work!

Plenty of options for drinks and food. They had the ufc fights for 10 dollar cover! Great spot. Come early if you want to find some seating!

Christian made our first experience at BBG's a great one. He was welcoming and very helpful with food and drink selection. Would recommend a visit to BBG's anytime you are in the area and hopefully Christian is there when you stop in!
