Cant believe I haven't rated this place yet. One of my all time favorite places to eat in Austin. The food is amazing. The hummus is unlike anything, anywhere. Chef Berty even made me an eggplant lover. LOL. I dont care what people say, if you can appreciate Israeli food (if you know anything about it) then you can appreciate his vision of it. Always consistent and always reliable. My wife loves the Chicken Hawaiej Hummus and I cant stop ordering the Falafel. Both crazy good and full of flavor. We have also had the kofta plate and pita and that is also amazing. Still, I come running back to that falafel. You can tell love and passion goes into the food here. We cant wait until he opens into his next project. If you dont know about Israeli food, then go here. Find out. Be amazed. It's not fried nor is it 'cue. It's one of a kind.

***03/05/22*** I really wanted to like this place but I walked away with an underwhelming experience. The common theme around Austin nowadays is a serious lack of commitment to hospitality and TLV didn't fail in this category. The setup is like most modern kitchens where you order from a touchpad and there's a runner/server/maitre de behind the counter to assist you should you have any concerns. Well, dude behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and definitely had a presence as though he was bothered I even addressed him. That's really not on him though because one thing I've learned is if the employees are unhappy/disgruntled it's more than likely a management issue. To that point, whom I perceived to be either the GM or owner was sitting right at the counter, though he was busy fixing a technical issue, he never bothered before or after fixing said issue to address any of the patrons ordering from the kiosks. Simple acts of kindness go a long way, with that being said, acknowledge other human beings and treat them with kindness. It's really NOT that hard to do. My other issue here was the food was BLAND and I ordered 2 entrees and 1 side which came out to be $50 so for that much money and your establishment to be considered "street food" where it should be flavorful enough to take and eat as-is, I don't want to have to search for salt to season it with. Which there was none? btw... If you like mediocre service and bland food, definitely give this place a shot. Huge let down for me but if that's your niche this spot should be a winner for you.

It was average. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich and a side of falafel. The chicken itself was super dry and not a lot of flavor. Just missing something. The falafel was decent, but wasn't served with humus or tzaziki or anything so they were also on the dry side.

The Falafel Be-Pita was amazing. The Sabich Be-Pita was amazing. The Tahini shake was amazing. You get the picture? 🙃🙃🙃. We loved it. Tastes were so good and fresh. I wish we had this place in our home town in Canada.

For being in the middle of a food hall, it was very convenient and awesome to have so much choice! Sadly, even though the service was quick and it was a relatively cheap meal, I found the mushroom hummus dish a little strange. It didn’t taste like mushroom really and the hummus didn’t taste like normal hummus either. Perhaps I’m used to Oren’s hummus too much but I just didn’t like it very much. Ambiance: super chill food truck like presence inside of the fareground food hall!

This place is part of a food court, and they have complimentary parking for 90minutes if you park in "one eleven" parking garage in Brazoz Street. The food here is amazing. Thierry standout was their mushroom hummus plate. I am a meat person, but this dish was really flavourful and was a delight to my palette. Falafel were spices were good. I guess they have used Zaatar bread spices within it. Kofta was well cooked, and spices were well set. Labneh felt fresh. it's thickness and consistency made it a perfect dip for the falafel. I strongly recommend to try falafel with labneh. Chicken hawaiej hummus and schnitzel both were good and quite significant. Mostbof the medditeranean places will add garlic sauces to their wrap but this one dont so its bit more authentic. It would have been great if they had given garlic sauce or tahini on the sides. Overall a wonderful place to try. The price is reasonable for it's location. I would definitely go back to this place.

Mix meat and milk dishes. No dietary restrictions, warnings or considerations. It doesn't say on the menu or show on the picture. The "manager" was on his laptop the entire time looking for another job instead of helping us figure out what to get. He only answered questions and tore away from his laptop when asking something of him otherwise his attention was had by the laptop.

The cauliflower plate was great. But not enough hummus. The Sabich plate wasn’t great, pretty much a plate of hummus which was gross.

We came here late Saturday night right at 9 pm. First we were told that they are closed, but then a manager overheard and said that we can order. The food was amazing. We were a party of 6 and everything we ordered was out of this world. Let me just start with Humus and Pita. Yummy. Some of the best Humus and Pita this side of Israel. Falafel, Schnitzel, and Shawarma were delicious. Highly recommended!!!

This place has one of the best Mediterranean food I've had! They've got great portions and a really good hummus! I like that you can order your food and find a place in the common seating place. I like the falafel sandwich and beetroot salad too! Must try if you're in the area

One of the best Mediterranean places in Austin! I rarely stray from my go-to options, the Sabich and falafel sandwiches, but everything else I've tried there is also excellent. Vegetarian options here are fantastic and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Food is great, service is not. First visit: Ummmmmm SO good. Was super hungry after arriving in my flight to Austin. Came here and was so impressed by the food. Had a kofta pita and the flavors and textures were so incredible. I would eat there all the time if I lived here. So fresh, so tasty. Honestly I'm probably going to go back for lunch today even though I'm only in town for a couple of days. It was that good. Kid working wasn't very friendly and served me the messy sandwich with no napkins. Was scared to ask him based off of how he was to other people's requests. Second visit: ordered online for my second experience. Arrived ten minutes after I got the text that it was ready and someone had taken my order so I had to wait for it to be remade. While i was waiting, a lady came and returned an order she had taken by accident in addition to hers (not mine). Clearly they need a better system for confirming order pick ups since I had to wait 20 minutes waiting for my order to be remade. “We just leave them on the counter and sometimes people take them" ?????

Had one of the best falafel sandwiches ever! The falafels are big, fresh and juicy. The chicken hawadeij hummus was also very unique and delicious!

Loved the food and ambience. The restaurant doesn't have a big board outside making it little difficult to find. I've attached images of the surrounding area to give a rough picture of where the restaurant actually is. Food ratings: •Taste - 5/5 •Quantity - 4/5 •Authenticity - 5/5(to my knowledge) •Wait time - 10-15minutes •Reservations - not required ☆Schnitzel(Be-Pita) - scrumptious and a very filling chicken wrap. ☆Labneh that came along with the Kofta plate was too good. One of the finest I've had in a while. If you are someone who doesn't know what it tastes like, it's sour. ☆The Hummus was very smooth, creamy and tasty. I had Chicken Hawaiej Hummus.

Wow! Amazing. The schnitzel is some of the best friend chicken I’ve ever had. The flavors were amazing. I’ll definitely be back. Although the guy working the counter could be friendlier.
