This is probably the best steakhouse!! Everything was on point. My wife and me dined on Friday on the bar. They have full bar service. The bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable. We were so impressed that decided to go back on Sunday. The sommelier made some fantastic recommendations. I can tell he loves his job. The ambience and decor were impeccable. The service was immaculate and the food is of magnificent quality. The chef takes the time to prepare all dishes with love and dedication. We enjoyed it a lot and truly recommend Jeffrey’s restaurant to anyone who loves fine dining.

Had a lovely dinner recently. The service is wonderful, as is the wine selection and food. We had deviled eggs, salad, steak and sides and the pavlova. The wait staff were attentive and made wonderful suggestions. It’s pricey but worth it for a five star dinner.

Lovely restaurant with good food. Service was top also and very attentive. The popovers were to die for. My caesar salad was good but not great. The others dining with me had their steaks cooked perfectly. My steak, however was slightly undercooked, but more importantly, it was not physically hot. It probably was waiting for the other steaks in our order and lost temperature along the way. A pleasant evening still.

Rib eye was perfect. Mashed potatoes were super creamy without being runny. They were probably the richest potatoes I’ve ever had. If you said the potato to butter ratio was 50/50 I wouldn’t argue. Mushrooms were good quality, but not how I like my mushrooms finished. There were no crusted bits, they were more so steamed. The lobster bisque was good. The creme fraiche made the soup a cooler temp than I prefer. They give you one good chunk of lobster, but not worth the price point IMO. If you like popovers or Yorkshire pudding, you’ll love their version which includes ricotta and crunchy flavorful topping. Also, they said they were renting these Doe deer antlers. Wish we found out for how much!

FANTASTIC restaurant. Staff was extraordinary, vibe/ambiance was awesome and the food was terrific. I also especially appreciated that they went above and beyond and made the filet "au poivre" for me. Also, I did not have a reservation but they accommodated me at the bar (it was early but so thrilled to get to eat here).

Cocktails and wine were excellent. We had truffled deviled eggs, croquettes, creamed spinach gratin, all were excellent. The dover sole Veronique had a funny taste, didn’t like it. For dessert we had a floating island: very interesting mix of flavors!

Mixed feelings. Excellent service, nice setting, fun crowd. After very good starters the entrees were wildly over salted and totally forgettable. Finally the dessert was literally the most saccharine sweet soufflé we’ve ever had anywhere. At $375 for two people for dinner this is no longer the true fine dining spot it was many years ago.

Was here for our wedding anniversary. Valet parking, so nothing to worry about. Very difficult to get a reservation, but we did since our anniversary is on the weekday this year. Service was excellent and came out quick. Price was decent, but not sure the food was worth the difficult reservation... I'll probably try other places before coming back again. But if you haven't been, give it a try.

while people know Jeffery's for the steaks (and those are amazing), I think their other dishes are as good if not better than the steaks. Their menu changes but from the different dishes I've tried there, the lobster bisque was out of this world, their peach salad was not forgettable, and their parchment roasted fish that was prepared with Persian basil was phenomenal. We had so much fun.

What a wonderful place for a long, relax dinner where conversation flows freely. I thought Jeffrey’s was going to be overly pretentious, old school, or classic American. I was wrong. Impeccable attentive service and ambiance, menu is a good mix of inventive plates and more classic steak house options. It’s not cheap, but 100% it’s a great place for an intimate celebration.

Fiancé & I come here regularly for exquisite service, high quality food, and for a romantic atmosphere. Merry, lead host supervisor of both Josephine and Jeffery’s is friendly and professional. Mark, executive chef of both as well, is innovative and can’t deny the attention he provides in his excellent meals.

Jeffrey’s for happy hour is always a treat and Friday’s visit did not disappoint! Get there early to score a seat at the bar for best overall experience. The service is stellar and comfortable. No one is rushing you out the door for the next reservation. The martini’s are still the best in town. We had popcorn, deviled eggs and warm olives plus a lovely dessert. The latte and espresso martini were impressive too!

Austins most elite restaurant. Words can’t describe how beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing this restaurant is. The ambience, the music, the uniforms from the staff and the exquisite menu are the perfect combination for a special night, a night to impress or a night to indulge. Devil eggs, devil eggs, devil eggs. Also do not forget to ask for the complementary truffle popcorn. This place has very good quality meat and plenty of tasteful sides to take the perfect pairing.

All of the food was great. I went in with high expectations, based on everything I've heard about Jeffrey's, and they lived up to it. The deviled eggs were great. Tons of truffle flavor but still well-balanced with everything else. The Caesar salad was on point. It had an interesting, crunchy texture to it. The shortrib was superb. No knife was necessary and it was delicious. The brussel sprouts were very nice, with some lemony/sweet backend flavors. The bar is also great here. As far as service, my waiter was very attentive and pleasant. Great place for a date night/fancy dinner! Reservation required.

Dry aged bone in rib-eye was great, mashed potatoes were very creamy, just almost too much but it wasn’t. Service was great. Was sat on the lounge and bar side due to main dining room table not ready yet. Lounge and bar side was very loud, understandable since it was the bar side but 80% of the room was dining tables.

Wow! My first time at Jeffrey’s - and it did not disappoint. We didn’t eat on this occasion (though the food looked amazing!) but came for cocktails & wine. They had the classics, a great selection of wines, but more importantly, were eager to recommend (and not in the way that prompts you to buy only the most expensive). We ordered a custom cocktail (Red Lion) and the staff couldn’t have been happier to oblige - Becca, our sever, was outstanding! Friendly, knowledgeable, and couldn’t have tried any harder to guide or recommend. Will absolutely come back for the food; but honestly feel this is the best bar in Austin - unexpected for sure, but so well deserved because of the whole team, but especially Becca

Living here going on 40 years and attending UT Austin I had no idea this place existed until a week ago. What a fantastic dining experience. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable and the food was some of the best I've had when it comes to fine dining Austin. The foie gras was excellent. And not a bad thing to say about the lobster and veal, the braised short rib, especially the off-menu tomahawk. The brussel sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. Rebecca provided excellent service!

Nice meal overall. It's the quintessential fine dining experience with execellent service. Most of the dishes met our expectations, but we were let down by the creamed spinach. Maybe we were unlucky that night, but it was obvious to both of us that it was made with frozen spinach and was extremely bland.

Exquisite. Best mashed potatoes in town. Gruyère and ham bites are awesome. Wait staff is top notch and tag team nicely to make sure you are taken care of. Accommodated our need to sit every plate we ordered. I cannot say enough good things about Jeffrey’s.
