My family loved the train ride. It was a nice little ride around the park. Maybe bring an umbrella or wear a cap so the sun doesnt hit you or your kids. For adults its $4 and for kids its $3! Great price and friendly staff!

The train is a lot of fun. Cool views of downtown and Zilker Park. There is certainly a lot for both adults and kids to do. The train is extremely affordable and well worth the money spent for the smiles provided for the kiddos. Not sure how fun it would be in the summer heat as the train cars are not covered, but fall is perfect.

Very cool, and super affordable. The train runs every hour on the hour. They have a gift shop which is cool. They are cash only but have an ATM. The ride was scenic and BEAUTIFUL!! Right next to a forest and river. There was a man playing music for us as we drove past and the kids loved it. It goes under a narrow bridge and through the park. Give it a try! It's awesome.

Great option for people who want to see Zilker Park/Barton Springs on limited time and/or budget! Tickets are only $3 each and last ~20 minutes. Starts at Barton Springs, follows the water, goes under a bridge, and circles back to a fun little tunnel. Tip: Go early to select your seats, especially if you have 4 in our group. Thereโ€™s only *one* cart that has two benches that are positioned face to face. All other carts are in rows and fit only 2 people comfortably.

Summary: Fun for the kids. The Details: A bit pricey for the short trip but fun never the less. The train has a lot of sun exposure so it may be a bit uncomfortable for the little ones on the hot days. Overall it's fun and scenic. I do recommend!

The Zilker Zephyr is a fun ride and good, quick tour of Zilker Park. It doesn't run all the way around the park but it does flank a long stretch along Barton Creek and the river. Our kiddo loved it! So if you're in the area with a little one be sure to check this out. You can always go before or after a dip at Barton Springs Pool!

My daughter's love this train and park. We go there several times a year and always have a great time. There is some shade at the park and picnic tables which is nice when it's a hot day. It's also near Barton Springs Pool which is cool for the kids to see as well.

$4 for an adorable train ride through Zilker park. My son thought it was rad the tracks went UNDER a bridge. We waved to the runners and clapped to the guy playing guitar and harmonica. It felt like a very Austin experience. Oh! And it goes under a bridge through the playground. We waved to all the kids.
