One of the coolest public places in Austin. Lots of people here come to walk or jog. Some people ride bicycles. Many people come to sit and relax in the beautiful and safe atmosphere. The view is very nice to take pictures. I highly recommend this place to people who want to spend quality family time. Or to go for a walk

We went to the park at Lady Bird river to see the Stevie Ray Vaughn Memorial Statue and walked along the shore. There were a variety of people doing lots of activities from picnicking with kids playing, walking their dogs, jogging and just hanging around I suppose, however, I could see how this wide open space could make a grand auditorium as a venue for live music. The grounds were very well landscaped with fairly clean restrooms by the parking lot. I do hope at some point in the near future that live music makes a come back here and throughout The United States of America, around the world and beyond, Stevie Ray Vaughn would want that!!!

There is a small hill with a circular pathway. Great view of downtown. There is also a giant playground next to the hill. Great area to walk.

One of THE best outdoor spots in Austin! Soak in the incredible views of the downtown skyline and bring your dog too for the off-leash dog park near the downtown lake. There is a vast array of people from all over the country and world and you can usually hear music or see people playing games and generally having a wonderful time. This place is amazing and a must visit if you are in Austin when it isn’t 95 degrees or hotter!

I lived in Austin, quite close to Lady Bird Lake, years ago. I couldn’t resist stopping by for a walk with my wonderful dog, Mojie when we came through. Unfortunately, the blue-green algae was a danger due to high heat and drought so he couldn’t swim, but the memories and atmosphere were as Austin as ever. Boy do I miss this laidback great trail and outdoor area in the middle of the city!

Magnificent place to walk or just find a bench and sit. Don’t bring a scooter they are not welcome or allowed. See Stevie Ray see the wildlife see the lake see the paddlers see the bats watch the sunrise but don’t miss the sunset

You know what you should do? Take food from Torchys, Gourdoughs, and wherever else you want and eat your dinner on a mat watching the skyline at Auditorium shores. I did it ! And further down you will see a colorful fountain that you can play in called Liz Carpenter fountain.

Great place to chill with friends, family and pets. Between trails, historic spots, huge outdoor lawn areas and play areas for kids, you can easily spend a few hours here. Overlooking the lake and downtown Austin is icing on the cake. Parking can be a challenge on weekends.

This park has it all, volleyball, soccer, swings, climbing toys, slides, hill and tunnels, chess, table tennis, glider swings and more. Short walk to the river, good, clean bathrooms. Only downside, not much parking, first come first serve for about 30 spaces.

Love the view! I parked along riverside and walked to the path along Lady bird lake. Weather and the trees are perfect this fall. 👌🏽

Lovely. Reminded me of my college days in Pittsburgh. Going to Flagstaff Hill just relaxing on soft grass with the city skyline as a backdrop …. Parking was easy (at least it was then surprisingly).. didn’t stay long just needed to stop for a minute get some things together in my head, just got off work and didn’t realize how much I needed a moment to myself to just relax for a second until I did…

Great park with spectacular view of the city's skyline. Perfect for watching the fireworks for July 4th and New Years. Parking is very very difficult during the peak times and wait times to get out are extremely long. I would recommend taking an Uber here instead of driving yourself during these peak times.

Absolutely love this place. Been going since I was a kid and they only had the hill and the splash pad, now I take my son and it’s more than I could’ve ever expected it would’ve been. Definitely wish we had it when we were kids but it’s great telling them how it’s changed. & I’ll Always going to want better for the generations to come and they very much made it better!

Attended Urban cultural festival all the way from Dallas. It was nice event in a great location, downtown Austin right next to Lady Bird lake with the skyline as the backdrop. I would have liked to see more vendors. VIP is NOT worth the money GA all day! Shout out to the beverage tent for keeping the libations flowing 🙌🏾

One of the best places to see downtown Austin. A great place to throw the frisbee. Exercise, meet with friends, relax, start an adventure, hit the hike and bike trail and many more activities can be experienced here. Austin has a traffic problem. Unless you plan to visit at an obscure hour. Save yourself the stress and come here on foot, bike, ride share, bus, magic carpet, scooter. Anything is better than a car. Unless you enjoy spending time circling around looking for one of the very limited parking options. Parking or the limited availability places to park, ( especially on weekends and special events ) is difficult for most of the downtown attractions most of the time. Auditorium Shores is an extreme example of this fact of life in Austin Texas. You could probably use the exercise anyway, do yourself a favor and visit here without using a car. You will be rewarded with a wonderful experience.

Auditorium Shores is so beautiful, what a great place for The Austin Food & Wine Festival. The Austin Food and Wine Festival is an all weekend long experience with some of the best weather Austin has to offer. Sip, savor, mix and mingle your way through many of the country’s top wine, spirits and culinary exhibitors. Eat & greet with top chefs serving samples of the dishes that put them on the map!

The best 4th of July celebration in Texas. The fireworks where amazing some of the best I have ever seen. That plus the orchestra playing during the show is just one outstanding experience.
