The hillside country and city tour is a great way to get an overview of the city and learn a little about its history. The staff at the visitors center is warm and welcoming. Austin has lots of interesting areas downtown for dining, shopping, strolling, and to be entertained. The hillside country tour features scenic areas with a panoramic view. So I learned the phrase, keep Austin weird. πŸ€—

Got into town a lot earlier than our check in time for our air bnb so we saw you can leave your luggage at the visitor center while you explore the city. Great option if you need that! It was $8 per bag. So nice we didn't have to lug our stuff around and could enjoy the day. Also the gift shop had really cute stuff to buy. Not bad pricing at all. And the staff was SO friendly!

Every time we visit Austin we must stop at the visitor center. They have the coolest souvenirs. The staff are nice and very helpful. Escape room is right next to it. I always get excited to see my dear friend on the window decal:)) Best streets to walk are the 6th, you'll find all kinds of curious stores and good places to eat. Also 1st street, you'll see lots of murals, art, places to eat, shop and taco trucks.

Open to air bus tryp in the city of Austin, the bus not only take you on the road tryp but also on the water. One tryp gives you two type of experience!! The drive of the Bus/Captain of the ship give a good commentary which gives the information about the city and make the tryp interesting and exciting. The tryp is arount 1hour and 15 minutes long and being you back to the starting point. There is a sovinere shop in the center from where you can buy the memory of your tryp to Austin USA.

Located just down the street from our hotel, this was an excellent resource for us as we wanted to learn more about the city. They have a very relaxing environment with all of the necessities for any tour or Austin gifts, they also have some wonderfully friendly people working there whom are more than willing to help you in any way. More cities should put time and attention into what Austin has done. Cheers!

Take the 10 person max… The Real Austin Tour trip with IKE in a Mercedes Van. He is very personal knowledgeable and knows your name. We walked the capitol, and saw all the major districts of Austin. He even treats you to a warm cookie πŸͺ along the way. Worth the $40 and don’t forget to tip.

We travel the country in our RV in hopes of seeing most of the beautiful USA. First thing we do is stop in the local visitor center for ideas. Their helpfulness varies in terms of the employees and what they offer; many times the employees do not know very much about the area! This was once of the nicest visitor centers we've seen. The gentleman at the help desk spent a lot of time with us and really tailored his suggestions (and his notes on the map) to our own interests. We were impressed with how well he knew the city. Austin is a great place to visit - and the Visitor Center makes it even better.

This is a fun and cute shop with lots of Austin and Texas souvenirs. The staff are very helpful and informative regarding where the best places to visit are based on your interests. We especially loved how passionate they were, especially Harrison, about the city and its history!

We took a double decker bus tour of Austin that met here. This oasis was a nice place to cool off while we waited for the tour to start. Staff were very helpful and sweet. Plenty of places to sit and fun souvenirs.

Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable.they will point you in the right direction for everything you need. They can arrange tours, or if you're just looking for recommendations on food/stuff to do, they are happy to help with that too!

I purchased my tickets online in advance, so I didn't have a wait. The staff was informed and answered all of my questions. Nice gift shop to stroll while waiting for the tour busses.

We had a great experience here. We had a little issue with one of the tours leaving from this site and one of the employees, Paige, went out of her way to try to work out the situation for us. Thank you Paige!

Difficult to access, prohibitive parking. We paid for another parking lot for the 111congress to say it was closed and to go to the convention center. Disappointed.

The staff and atmosphere were very welcoming. Loved the AO bus tour; it was very informative and travelled an expansive area both inside and around the outskirts of the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the small bus made it a personal and chill experience. Gift shop had some cool things and good variety.

Traveling the world and being to so many city tours but this one was outstanding. It was so informativ and fun. Kendalen and Joey were truly good in what they do. We will always remember. If you are in Austin you need this tour and ask for these two gems.

The staff here are super helpful and it was nice to book appointments directly with them instead of going off to different sites online for different tours and activities.

Meeting place for the tour I booked. There are a few gifts and things inside if you are nearby and want to grab something before heading back home.

Nice little shop with helpful friendly employees that were able to answer all of our questions and get us booked with a great intro tour to the city with AO Tours!

Amazing tour today with Trace. He was funny, full of knowledge, and gave so much fabulous information about your beautiful city. I recommended this tour. Hands down one of the very best city tours I have ever taken. YeeeeHaw!

The souvenirs are reasonably priced and good selection of near items. The cashier (i don't know how name) was very nice, helpful and impressed me so much writing the directions upside down. You have to see him do it to understand what I mean. πŸ˜†

Google Maps takes you to the other side of the big building on 5th Street, whereas it is on 4th street. We missed our tour and it is non refundable. Don't know who to blame, them for moving, Google maps, or just me for being too trusting.

Stopped in here to join a BBQ and wine tour. The shop is cute with the basic touristy chachkis, stuffed animals etc. But the tour that we met there was fantastic!

We did the "Hill country/wine/BBQ" tour with Evan as the tour guide. It was a wonderful tour and our guide was fun, energetic and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. The visitors center also had a great selection of souvenirs.
