The University Of Texas At Austin is one of the top public universities in the world. Because UT has over 50,000 students, it's 100% possible for anyone to find their fit in the many clubs and organizations that the school has. Let's face it, you most likely already know about UT and the other top schools in the state of Texas and you're just reading this randomly. For the 1% who is reading this review in a hope to learn something about UT, I'd highly recommend speaking with the UT counselors, and even scheduling a free tour of the campus. Also, you could reach out to UT, UT Sports, the UT President, or the UT Austin Tower on social media and talk to them - they are answering questions and are constantly interacting with people that are interested in UT Austin! Last but not least, if you're really thinking about attending UT Austin, be sure to check out a football game - they're unbelievably fun and you'll really get the feel for our Longhorn school spirit. Hook em!

The University of Texas Tower is the focal landmark for the university. The Tower and the grounds around it are a nice stroll if you want to get a feel for this university. The tower also has a history which is quite interesting.

360° Views of Austin from the 27th floor of the famous UT Tower. After a thorough security check, you are guided to the top of the tower. Majestic views of the Capitol, Owl Building, the football stadium. Take an up close look at the clock chiming when you are there.

I'm a true crime geek so seeing the UT clock tower was a very somber event. I also checked out the turtle pond and the memorial to the victims. It's sad to realize that the world hasn't really changed much.

A great monument for a great University. This magnificent building of 27 stores is a symbol not only of the universty but of the city itself.

Such a lovely campus, the buildings are beautiful and the UT Tower, so historic. It was so nice to take a slow drive all around the Tower and see it from all sides. It was 107° that day, so walking wasn't a option for me. Another 'Must See' here in Texas.

Besides having a great history here in Austin and center around that tower and the capital building those 2 buildings alone Kind of define old Austin 🤔 .... It also has a dark history....A 25 year old engineering student ( And a former marine), by the name of Charles Whitman.... On August 1st,1966 went up to the observation Deck of the tower and opened fire... he shot and killed 16 people including an unborn child, and injured 31 others Over a span of 96 minutes...This was after he shot his wife and mother that morning...the death toll though at the time was set at 16 it then became 17 when one of the people who had been shot that tragic morning met there fate anyways die to medical complications from the injury they received that morning. .....On another note they set up alot of live events in the quad below the tower all the time ... Like Wiz Khalifa who played there at the tower Just the other day....

The science library is amazing and there is cool architecture, but the restrooms have poor ventilation so they are kinda extra gross. The people and offices are cool, especially the way they renovated the registrars office, now Texas One Stop. I'm pretty sure it is haunted as well. They are about to start fixing the outside. The Greek alphabet is rusting out and looks pretty rough.

As a former student of UT, there are a lot of fond memories of the UT Tower. I would walk by this tower daily going to class, getting food, getting to the drag, etc. I remember the tower on bright blue sky days and during the night when it was lit orange to celebrate UT victories. I also remember the tower during graduation when I had achieved that accomplishment. I will always remember the UT Tower.

Always beautiful! Love the tower and all it represents. Summer is when the area is the most empty and I was able to get a photo with NO ONE in the background and had such a great time exploring my alma mater

Attended our oldest child's "Class Ring Ceremony " and had a great time. It's a pretty awesome building and there is a lot going on on that campus. Pretty darn tall.

Famous for a shooting in the ‘60s Also really tall and iconic for a university tower. Then again, UT Is a gigantic school Can also make a … ‘symbol’ with the two balls in East Mall if you align everything correctly
