The Shipe Park is great! Itโ€™s got tennis, basketball and more. The best part is easily the Elizabeth Net museum. You have to pop in and check out the home โ€œFormosaโ€ of the esteemed artist. Her statues are even in the capital building. We learned a lot about her life and work.

My soccer team has regularly played soccer tennis at the Shipe Park tennis courts for many many years. It's typically our practice when we can't do Zilker in the winter, but we still play on random Tursdays or Thursdays. If you play soccer and you see us playing there, come join us. We're a fun group.

My daughter loves this park! Pea gravel rocks in play area very deep which keeps falling children from getting hurt. Beautiful mural

Playground is nice but half of the park is currently under construction. Tennis courts are open.

Beautiful if small park in the heart of Hyde Park. Besides a playground and open dog-friendly space, Shipe Park has a great free public pool.

The pool is very clean and nice, multiple attendants or lifeguards or whatever so it felt safe, not too many people.

Needs a bit more shade. Small. I hope you like your pool visit with a side order of screaming kids. It's not good for lap swimming. However, it's good for stretching and aerobics. Very Clean and parking is good. Age demographic is usually well represented

Great park! Infested with pickle ball tho. Usually 8 people on average waiting for a court. So if you want to play tennis.. on a tennis court.. good luck

Up grading the pool was great. Old log cabin bathroom is still in pretty good shape. Kid's area was in good shape. I have been going over there 45/50years

Nice park off of 45th street. The swimming pool appears recently renovated and ideal for families with young kids. The playgrounds have partial shade and also appear to be in good condition. There's a full court basketball court and two tennis courts separated by a fence

There is a memorial bench for my very dear friend Daniel orr in the park I love this park and I know it's been around for ever It's relatively small but it does have a pool, a playground, and a little walking trail. There's even a little bridge that sometimes has water in it. There is tennis courts close by very good neighborhood park

A great park for toddlers through early elementary kiddos. There is a bigger play structure surrounded by a few shady benches plus two swing sets. Fences help keep busy toddlers within the perimeter!

Love too come here and go down memory lane when my wife was still alive, and there is a museum across the street.
