The playground is AMAZING for kids and adults alike. There are also trails you can walk and bike on. You get some nature in the city. Part of it is along a very busy street so if you're looking for a more deep nature walk I'd skip it. It's really close to Central Market (an awesome organic grocery store) so you can pick up some picnic food along the way. There's plenty of tables and BBQ grills if you want to host a party. A little further down the trails and there's sand volleyball too. And best of all- clean public restrooms near the playground area!

Very well designed park. Beautiful lawn, play area, and basketball court. Nice trails cut through the hillside. By far the highlight is the observation pod though!

This is an awesome park. It has something for everyone. The restrooms were even amazingly clean for a park. There is a splash pad, equipment to climb on, and trails to explore. There are tables to sit at if you want to study or read a book.

Great park, I really liked it, I came super early so there was plenty of parking. This park is located in a nice neighboorhood area, but if you want to come and enjoy this place, come early, otherwise you won't find parking. Excellent park for families with kids!

Very cool place for the family to come and hang out. Plenty of space and tables to have a picnic and even grills if you want to go all out, just make sure to bring your own charcoal. There is a full size basketball court if that's your thing and make sure to cool off at the splash pad for some extra cool fun. One of the main attractions is the big "birds nest " ball that you can go and hang out in. Pretty lights light it up at night for a special look. Enjoy!

An amazing trail for an evening run right next to West Campus. Enough space for playing outdoor games or to simply take your dog for a walk. Generally crowded between 5-7pm on the southern part of the park. Public restrooms are available.

We like to come to this park as a family. It was pretty hot when we came and they had the fountains on. It was a great way to spend about an hour. Very clean park. Saw a birthday party and a beautiful sorority picnic going on. Very diverse people. Parking is very sparse, though. So, on beautiful days, expect to have to park far or to skip this park. Don't park in people's driveways. There are restrooms here and a shaved ice stand. You just have to get the hours.

Pease District Park is a charming urban oasis nestled in the heart of the city. It offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle, with a range of amenities that cater to both kids and adults. The 1.5-mile trail provides a scenic path for a leisurely walk or jog, while the well-maintained basketball court and kids' play area ensure fun for all ages. The highlight for children has to be the splash pad, perfect for beating the Texas heat. Parking is convenient, with a small lot and street parking near the entrance. The presence of a shaved ice truck is a sweet surprise, offering a refreshing treat on hot days. Pease District Park's distinctive structures and fitness stops add character to the park, making it an engaging space for outdoor enthusiasts. The picnic areas are excellent, ideal for family gatherings or a quiet lunch amidst nature. Overall, Pease District Park is a fantastic place to spend quality time with loved ones. It's a hidden gem in the city, and I'm eager to return with my family for more memorable outings in this wonderful park.

A nice park with lots of trails and activities for the kids! There is a small parking lot and some parking on the street near the entrance. The splash pad is small but well-shaded. The playground has enough to do for small and big kids. Bathrooms and the water fountain were nice and clean. The basketball court was really nice but no shade. The walking trails are well-maintained, and you will likely encounter cyclists and electric scooters. Lots of birds all over. They have a shaved ice truck. Lots of interesting structures and fitness stops. Excellent picnic areas as well. Really nice spot that I hope to revisit with the family when it isn't over 100.

Absolutely loved this place! There is so much to explore on this massive land of green beauty! So many nature trails & things to explore. Different set up playgrounds, a splash area for the Littles. A huge tree house dome, a must-see! It's such a perfect place for a play date, picnics & or gathering.

Although I didn't get to see a lot of this park from what I did I was most impressed. There was a really well designed and large picnic area when you entered. At night the lights around were well placed to promote a relaxed vibe. I only saw the playground and basketball area as well as the observation globe. I really enjoyed the visit here.

Kids love it. Lots to do so you can chance sceneries and spend a long time there without getting bored. The blue tress exhibit is not as impression in person as I was thinking but it was still cool.

Another great Austin park space. Art installations, hiking/biking trails, basketball court, backstop, exercise bars, wonderful playscapes and splash pad near nice and clean restrooms, ample benches for seating, as well as picnic tables.

What a lovely park. I walk with a dog through this centrally located Park several times a week. We always have a great time and meet nice people and other friendly dogs. The walk along Shoal Creek is beautiful and the tree-covered trail makes summer walks pleasant, even in the afternoon.

Really cool park near downtown Austin with unique structures that children can play on. There are also lots of paved walking trails, a couple of volleyball courts and a water feature. There is also a creek running through the middle of the park and some off pavement trails as well. Overall a nice quiet place to go when trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is my favorite Austin downtown area park - Zilker is amazing and has size - but this beautiful little park has soul. There are art instillations, local businesses that give a cut of profits to conserve the park, and amazing play spaces. Peace park still has some of that old Austin charm and weirdness. The park is a dream. The parking is a problem. Good luck finding a spot.
