Great location! The rooms were nice and clean! We had a problem in our first room and were quickly moved to a better one. Staff is very nice and accommodating, very good service from the man at the front desk in the evening (sorry I did not get his name). He was kind and helpful! The fact that dogs are welcomed for free is simply amazing!

Edit: now I know the noise was for a protest… I stayed in the room facing the Congress Avenue. It was loud and noisy on a Friday night. I heard drums played loudly and screaming after 12 am. The window was not sound proof at all. Also when the cleaning crew cleaned the rooms on the hallway you could hear them talking and closing the doors. If you are a light sleeper, don’t choose this hotel. I wouldn’t pay more than 150 for one night. The location was good and the staff was friendly. But the sound proof and thin wall drive me crazy. Whenever a guest closes the door it sounds like slamming. It’s awful and can’t be fixed unless a whole renovation.

My stay at aloft Austin Downtown was fantastic!! It all started with the check in process with Nikki, she was attentive, energetic, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was perfect as was the cleaning staff, my room was spotless. I really enjoyed the dining and onsite bar and the coffee shop was awesome. This location is centrally located in the heart of downtown Austin and close to walking distance for most anything that you can imagine. I will definitely be returning.

Great hotel in a nice location. I often stay here for business and try to tack on a night or two for pleasure. I especially like the fun vibe in the lobby. Jonathan at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. I’ll keep coming back.

We don’t stay at aloft hotels often - but wow - we may need to change that because our stay last week was awesome. The rooms were kind of small - but they were clean and efficient. We need to shout out Johnathan who was very friendly and approachable. He shared his local knowledge of the area with us and made our stay that much better. Nice work.

Stayed in Austin this past weekend, glad I did. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed. The staff is very professional and kind, they will do whatever it takes to make your stay memorable. This is my first time going to Austin, if I come back I will definitely stay here at the Aloft. I highly recommend this hotel, keep up the great work.!! Food is from Caroline here at the hotel.! Excellent.

Our stay was pretty short, only two nights, and accidentally booked during a game. It has several awesome things: location is great and very walkable. Felt safe. It is right on Congress St so it's close to east or west 6th depending on what you're looking for. The restaurant downstairs also has tasty foods, though a bit pricey in my opinion and enough veggie options. The crowd that goes there is a bit younger, so something to keep in mind: the second floor with the reception can be loud because of the bar/lounge. The staff was really cool. They listened to us when there was an issue with our room despite a breakdown in communication, and went the extra mile to accommodate us. Would come back and stay here again with friends.

Everything about this experience has been excellent. The hotel from the ground up looks so modern and clean. The staff has been very friendly and courteous, from the valet to the front desk, to those attending to the rooms needs. I have been greeted by smiles and convenience the entire time. The view is spectacular from the room as well. The location is right in the center of every kind of restaurant we could possibly want, while the hotel itself has an excellently run restaurant on the first floor as well. This visit has made me appreciate Austin in such a great way. I highly recommend Aloft to anyone looking for an excellent quality hotel in the center of it all.

Overall great experience at the hotel. Check in was a breeze with Johnathan - super helpful, chatty, and customer service focused. Answered all of our questions - were tourists - and sent us on our way. Def worth staying at this place again!!

The room was very large and clean. Beds were comfy and noise at night was reasonable. The location was within walking distance to bars and restaurants. A little different with the check in on the second floor and the lobby being in a restaurant/bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is shared with another brand so half the rooms are one brand and the other aloft.

Great hotel with awesome views. We got a top floor room and it was wonderful. The prices are great considering its a downtown hotel that's very nice. The staff was super friendly when we arrived and checked out. The room was large and super spacious. We really enjoyed our stay!

I have been here for a few weeks on a work project and this hotel is the best! The location is great and Avery is the best!!!! She is exceptional and made sure my stay feels like a home away from home! Her care to details and accommodations are 5 star! She always has a smile on her face and is always ready to help! I couldn’t have asked for better! The whole staff is amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Austin! Stay here it’s worth it!!!!!

Had a lovely four night stay at Aloft. Room was comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower. Front desk and morning coffee bar staff were especially friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the restaurant bar and the delicious meals from Caroline's. I'd highly recommend staying here. Great location, too! Thanks for a great stay!

I arrived at the late at the Aloft Downtown Austin and was helped by Johnathan. He was able to arrange a room on a higher floor and in a quieter corner of the hotel. He provided excellent customer service. I stay here regularly for work and this is one of the reasons I’ll continue to return.

Camille at the front desk made our stay one to remember! She was incredibly accommodating to our early check-in request and even offered to hold our luggage while they got our room ready so we could grab a drink at the hotel bar. Thank you Camille for your amazing hospitality - we will be back!

I recently stayed at Aloft Hotel Downtown Austin, and I must say, the service provided by Christine was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and warm, welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is modern and stylish, with comfortable rooms and great amenities. But it was Christine's exceptional service that truly made my stay memorable. She was always ready to assist with any request and had fantastic recommendations for things to do in Austin. My favorite place to stay with my puppers in Austin! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for me. I love the cute bar upstairs with happy hour specials and the convenient coffee shop downstairs. We always stay here if possible and can't wait to be back!!! Two paws up!

The hassle & expense of parking here overshadows the friendly/helpful staff. Rooms are standard, functional Aloft rooms. Nice that dogs are allowed and catered to. Treats and food bowls were provided. Nice to have a restaurant, bar and coffee shop all on premises. I also like that locals drop into public places.

Positives: - Everyone on staff I interacted with was nice. - Caroline's is a great spot for breakfast. - Rooms are clean and nice. Negatives: - The achilles heal of this place that makes it a place I wouldn't ever consider staying again is the complete lack of sound-proofing. If you have a room above the bar like I did, you have no hope of going to sleep before about 12:30 AM. The music from the bar and talking/yelling is quite loud from the room. You're much better off being on the other side of the building or high up, but even then there seems to be a high likelihood you'll have trouble. Cars, leaf-blowers, people in the hallway, workers renovating rooms, etc are all much louder than in other hotels. I was on a work trip with many others and despite being pretty spread out in the hotel, just about everyone had problems sleeping due to noise. I attempted to change rooms, but was told the hotel was overbooked. To the staff's credit, they ran up some ear plugs and a breakfast pass. I appreciated the staff's efforts, but I would still look just about anywhere else to stay in the future. In summary, if you want to sleep at your hotel, I'd steer clear of this place.

Hotel is clean. Staff is friendly and they make up your room daily! Reyna who took care of my room specifically took extra time and attention to detail and tidied up my toiletries arranging them on a washcloth. It is the little extras that make it special when you are away from home. Thanks Reyna and the Aloft team for a nice stay.

The room was immaculate and extremely clean. Bathroom was very well prepared. Customer service was top notched. Excellent location for a Austin visit. Close to everything. Only complaint were that the linens and bedding were kind of uncomfortable felt very starchy.

Wow. This can’t just be southern hospitality, right?? Everyone at this hotel was super helpful. Checkin staff got me situated. I forgot a toothbrush and the team took care of it asap. Bartenders at the roof deck were great (the deck has a very friendly vibe… drinks, cornhole, music). Fitness center was new and clean. Rooms were sizable with big windows. Recommend!
