I booked 3rd party and I wasn’t aware of the 18$ a night parking which isn’t much but felt like a slap to the fast or like an attempt to get every penny on the table. You would assume that the parking deck would be in good condition. There was trash that layer there in the Sam spot the entire weekend, including food bags and liquor bottle, a telephone from a room, a woman’s wig and many other large things left there for 2 days . My last night there , a couple was having a physical fight in the parking deck and I had to report to the front desk. The fountain wasn’t working and was broken visually as well , they didn’t turn the outdoor lights on in the seating area next the fountain so we could at least sit there and eat or enjoy coffee. The room was hot in the day time even with the ac on 70 and keeping doors closed . There was some hard black pieces of something in the bed sheets which looks like possibly a dead , dried up bug. The refrigerator was turned down to where it was on the warmest setting so my drinks and milk got warm and then I discovered it wasn’t getting cold and the desk told me where to find the knob which is on the back of the refrigerator so you need to pull it out of the shelf and put it back in. Seems they turn it down to save money but a rooms are expensive so there should be money to fix the fountain and leave the refrigerators on. There was hair that wasn’t mine in the restroom floor and it was overall just a bad experience. I understand that the 3rd party not informing me about parking isn’t directly Hiltons fault but if you are going to profit off of a booking site then you need to do your do diligence and make sure it’s proper , not just run off when they hand you money. It was supposed to be a nice weekend but needed up being a bit stressful, especially having to report a fight after they seen my face . That made the rest of my stay uncomfortable. I will not return .

The rooms were nice. The bar and restaurant staff were nice. The front desk service was terrible, and you have to request housekeeping. And even then, they just replaced towels and emptied trash. Nothing else. We were there 3 nights. They or extra charges on our cards, which affected the funds we had available with our trip. The extra charges are supposed to come off, but not until after the trip!

I’m amazed at how friendly and accommodating the front desk staff is. Krissy and Destiny have to be the kindest, friendliest, and most accommodating front desk staff I’ve ever encountered! I was greeted the moment I came in, they’ve remembered my name, and have truly made me feel welcomed in their hotel. Their hospitality is unmatched and such a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend staying here and make sure to be extra kind to these lovely ladies, they truly are phenomenal!

Great hotel. Excellent room. Very clean. very friendly front desk staff. Only problem was I had a major problem exiting the parking deck. my room key did not activate the liftgate and ended up being a delay for quite some time. I called the front desk with my cell phone and there was no response. it's simply went to a voicemail that was not responsive to the button options that they gave you. Eventually a valet came to help me out.

Excellent from arrival to check out. Service was 10/10. They even had a welcome bag and gifts. Super clean, modern, and comfortable rooms. The whole place is gorgeous. The restaurant had the best food I had during the whole stay. Don’t pass this place up. Julian was great! Once they get the courtyard fountains and landscaping up it will be absolutely stunning. What a cool place! Thanks for everything. And yes, there is a charge for parking - but it isn’t hidden, they tell you before you book. Plus you get to park in a secure garage.

The absolute BEST STAY in Austin or anywhere else for that matter. Julian the front desk agent is top notch and more than exceptional. The bartender Kevin was so nice to us while he was attending to our guest and did an amazing job taking our orders. These gentlemen made our ANNIVERSARY SPECTACULAR

Absolutely one of the worst Hilton Hotel I’ve ever been to! Don’t be fooled by the outside aesthetic and have your Austin experience RUINED by unprofessional front desk, unorganized parking situation and BUG INFESTED hotel like this one! When you first arrive, you start to notice there is no immediate parking to check in. You have a line of cars with people getting out real quick in order to get their key card to have access to the parking garage. You also notice people are having trouble getting in the garage and see a line of irritated hotel guest trying to get in!! Second, as soon as we enter our room we notice the bathrooms towels were all damp and wet. Lotion was used up and had hairs inside of bottle. To top it all off—We found a few GIANT BUGS in the room. When we brought up the damp towels, lotion bottle and bug infestation to the front desk. The lady at the front desk did not seemed concerned at all and said that it’s okay to have WET TOWELS and it’s okay to use them because they are never perfect. Basically told us that it’s normal to have bugs flying around in the room and have half empty lotion bottles because there’s no way housekeeping would leave used empty lotion bottles around. Unfortunately, this front desk lady named Bobby failed to get hospitality training like the other 5 star hotels I have stayed at. NOT ONCE did she EVER offer dry towels or apologize for our horrible experience. She kept trying to play smart as if it never happened. We didn’t ask for much other than dry towels and an apology for our horrible Hilton experience. This Hilton failed terribly with its customer service. BE WARY AND BOOK ELSEWHERE!

A quick trip to Austin and this Double Tree by HILTON was a great stay! The staff was perfectly cordial from checking in to service at their cafe. My room was clean and bed was super comfy. The outside garden area was beautiful, and inside lounge equally so. They have a workstation with computer and printer available if you need it. The gym area was well equipped for a quick workout with treadmills, bikes and weights. Starbucks offered at this location which is an added bonus for morning coffee. You also might want to try their Chicken Tortilla Soup which is so yummy. And last but not least, the Double Tree Signature Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie received at check in was SO DELICIOUS! With a daughter as a baker, I’ve tasted great cookies and this is among them. And it appears I’m not the only one who thinks this as I discovered they offer a tin of these for purchase. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel is nice, much as the rooms. There is an attempt to decorate the room which I appreciate. The bedroom is cosy, with a sofa to relax and watch TV if you want to. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is ok. I am not a fan of this kind of baths, half a bath and half a shower. The breakfast is not at the price level where it should be: too few choices, average taste. Quite a degradation overall in the US over the past 20 years. Bedroom comfort: 5* except bathroom 3* Bedroom decoration: 4* Bed comfort: 5* Breakfast: 2* Price/quality ratio: 4* Service: 3* (I used laundry service and asked for folded shirts that were returned unfolded)

I called earlier same day to check in and was told to check later that day for availability. When we arrived to the hotel 2 hrs before our check in time, lady at the front desk told us that it’s a $50 early check in fee, which we didn’t agree to pay. Then lady dropped the price to $25 instantly. This is the first time I hear hotel charging early check in fee and changing the price too. So it is $50 or $25? Garage was full of trash like cups and food that was left there for days. Even elevator had a plastic cup stuck to it. Parking was $20 a night. For the price we paid the room was outdated. I’m leaving 2 stars just because their cookies were good.

This hotel has been at this location for a long time, but they’ve maintained it very well. The rooms were clean and the staff was very courteous. My wife and I stayed one night and walked across the street to eat seafood. We wouldn’t hesitate staying at this hotel again. The breakfast is good with a variety of food. It’s a nice getaway.

I was only here for one night but the rooms were so clean, the hallways were quiet, and the curtains make your room pitch black if you want to sleep in. Lots of outlets and usb ports everywhere I also had a chance to get some food from the hotel bar. The wings and fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time.

We stayed three nights and had constant problems with their parking garage. Our room key would not let us out in or out of the garage, as promised. When we pushed the help button at the gate nobody responded, so we had to call the front desk for help. They re-made our room key twice, but it never worked in the garage. To add insult to injury, the garage elevator was out of service on our last day. Overall, this hotel is comfortable, but past its prime. The on-site restaurant skews toward Mexican flavors at lunch and dinner and offers little else.

The hotel is very beautiful from the outside and also in the lobby. The front desk customer service was ok. The young person that checked us in was laughing with a co-worker and was sucking an a lollipop when we walked up. Our room was on the second floor. The room was outdated. The bathroom had a bit of mold and the shower faucet was hanging off the wall. When I was un packing and putting my shoes in the closet there was someone's underwear in the corner. How disgusting!! The beds are very uncomfortable and felt like I was sleeping on a cardboard as well as the pillows. Our stay here was mediocre at best and will not be staying here in the future. This was actually pretty sad for us as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary we were expecting a bit more from a Hilton hotel.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed and decorated. However, upon arrival, rooms were not ready yet at check in time due to maids being behind because of hotel being fully booked the previous night. Beds were hard as a rock and no one slept. (Not just our complaint, others in the lobby were complaining about that as well). The bathtub plug didn't work so I was unable to bathe my special needs child who is unable to use the shower. The elevators are extremely small, making it hard for a wheelchair or cane user to ride in if anyone else in in it. Unfortunately, while the staff is great and the building is beautiful, we won't be visiting here again.

The room was small. No refrigerator. Shower had no pressure. One towel each. You have to purchase Starbucks coffee downstairs. I was not impressed at all. The room was overpriced. Will definitely take this hotel off of our list.

Customer service was non existence, rooms had very old carpets that seems haven't been washed for ages. Heater wasn't working, engineer came and tried to fix it, then said need to change the actuator. After half an hour, left saying it's good now, but nope. Finally checked out as we were tired and in no mood to argue or look for another hotel.

This hotel kept out the same water in a beverage dispenser by the front desk for several days. I did not know this, and I served myself water on two days. I noticed had been suffering from intestinal pain but did not know that it was coming from the hotel's lobby beverage dispenser. The second day, I served myself water. As I looked into the glass, I saw that there was black, floating mold in the cup. I took and will attach photos. I went back and grabbed a fresh cup to pinpoint the source of the mold. Sure enough, it was the lemon water by the front desk. I advised the attendant at the Texture bar, but later I noticed that the same beverage dispenser was still out. When we checked out, I was able to tell the desk attendant about the water also. The attendant seemed surprised, but later they did change the water. No one at the hotel followed up with me about this. Please do not serve children any water or beverages here as the cleanliness of the hotel is in question.

Almost missed out on this amazing room, but a quick online comparison, especially on HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm, got me a real catch. A quick trip to Austin and this Double Tree by HILTON was a great stay! I was visiting for a conference and was very impressed by the food and meal service. The ballrooms were very well organized and decorated. Parking was easy and validation wasn’t a hassle. A great representation of the double tree brand!

Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff and great restaurant & bar. I don't always bring my shampoo & conditioner because the hotel usually has something. I was extremely disappointed in their "conditioning" shampoo. My hair was dry and frizzy after use. no options in their market store either.

Everyone at this hotel is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are huge and beautiful. Everything is so clean and nicely decorated. The food is excellent. I will never stay at another hotel. This will be my hotel to stay at when I visit Austin. My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend.

Lovely hotel! We had some issues exiting the parking garage during our stay, but the staff was great with assisting! Be careful not to lock yourself out when exiting through your balcony! (But if you do, the staff is great with getting you back into your room! LMAO)

Great hotel, great staff. I always have a fantastic experience when staying at this hotel, and this time was no exception. A couple of things to remember: - Check out the inner courtyard—it's a pleasant place to relax. - Don't forget to ask for cookies when you return to the hotel—they're a delicious treat. Parking can be a bit tricky. If you have visitors, it's best for them to use ride-sharing services or find alternative transportation. Limited free street parking is available, and there is paid parking in the garage. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was great, and the hotel provided a comfortable and clean experience. Don't miss the inner courtyard and the delightful cookies. Enjoy your stay—I know I did!

Preface: I stay and Hilton hotels every week and see many locations. I am usually impressed. This could be a great hotel; however, the rooms are neglected. The furnishings are dated and falling apart. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, I came back to give it a second chance. Second room is about the same as the first. Will need to find a better place.

My stay at this DoubleTree was amazing!!!! It started at the front desk when Carolina Munoz checked me in. I am a gold member with Hilton and had called that morning to see if I would be able to get an upgrade. The lady I spoke with assured me that she was upgrading me to a premium King. (that didn't happen} When I asked Carolina about the upgrade she said there were no premium Kings available but she had a 2 room suite. It was my anniversary and we were also there for our company's Christmas Party. The room was beautiful. Very clean and lots of room for some of my coworkers to come up and visit. I was trying to open the connecting doors and one of them was really hard to unlock so I talked to a gentleman at the front desk to send up a maintenance man to help me. Marshall was fantastic. When he came to the door he was smiling and willing to help. When he left he told me if I needed anything while I was there to let him know. You have 2 top notch employees working for you. I use to be a Front office supervisor for Hilton and know how hard this job is. Thank you for a wonderful stay and wonderful employees!!!! Kelly M

This is a fantastic hotel with a breathtaking open atrium. The builders spared no expense on lavish chrome and granite fixtures. Pity they chose to omit "amenities" common to many lower priced hotels, such as a bathroom fan and towel racks. Otherwise great.

The building itself is beautiful, it’s a Spanish style looking hacienda. We loved that each room connected to the balcony going all around the building on the interior overlooking the pool and the patio area. The bar area is very inviting as well. Overall, felt welcomed walking in and staff was great! Felt very comfortable and will be returning to this location.

The hotel is gorgeous! Our room was so clean and tidy. I felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, easy to work with and made everything so effortless. We also ate dinner and ordered drinks at the bar and the girl working behind the bar was so genuine and sweet it really made us feel welcomed.

What an amazing surprise. My room was huge, the outdoor pool was nice and the location was right across the street from a great seafood restaurant and many others within a block or two. The hotel bar had a good selection of beers on tap and they just happened to have a beer on tap, citrus wheat, that I loved! Had breakfast in the morning, a large serving, and many other healthy breakfast choices. I have never been more surprised by a hotel. Will definitely stay again if I need to stay the night for business. Next time I going to bring the whole family. They also had a secure parking lot garage with a gate.

Seems like Hilton is going downhill lately, not sure how some of their hotels maintain their star rating. We had a really bad experience with Hilton in New Braunfels last week, and it was only marginally better at this one. Not what I expect from a hotel of their supposed caliber, especially as a Gold Member. Pros: the front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The courtyard looks really nice. Cons: the bathroom was pretty gross. Not one, not two, but four long black hairs in the tub, in plain sight. None of the trashcans had bags in them. There was residue under the toilet seat. Dust on everything. If the towels hadn't been fresh I would have assumed housekeeping forgot to clean the bathroom. Speaking of housekeeping, they knocked on our door at 0900 asking when we'd be out of the room. I've never even in the crappiest motel had housekeeping bang on my door two hours before checkout (or at all) to ask if I was leaving anytime soon. Lack of carpet in the hallways may be cleaner but also louder. As with the other Hilton we stayed in, the doors are poorly sealed and noise from the hallway is very loud in the room. Hilton consistently gives the impression of a 2-star hotel in a 4-star wrapping. They look good and sound good, but the details and service are just lackluster. I've had better at a budget hotel, twice now.

First time here and I love it ! The rooms are comfy in my opinion. They have there own bar downstairs with food as well, it is pricey so beware, I also dislike the 50$ incentive you have to deposit. So whatever you get inside the hotel, food etc etc… it’s deducted from the incentive, whatever you don’t spend it’s refundable. I would rate it 5 stars but the other dumb fees is incompetent.

The hotel staff from front desk to catering/ restaurant was stellar. We had a large group for graduation & the food was very yummy. The restaurant staff made everything right, hot, & with a smile!! Thank you for making our event a success.

Good hotel, great service generally. Would definitely recommend. Hot showers. Comfortable beds. Generally good food. Outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub in the courtyard in the center of the hotel. Why does the bar not open till 5pm??? Is there a law in Austin preventing it? Just know that the bar doesn't open till five pm.

The guy at the front desk is the nicest person you will ever meet. Rooms were clean, lobby bar is really nice for what it is. Incredible salsa at the restaurant. Close enough to be convenient but still away from the homeless population and city bustle. Parking garage spots are super tiny but is empty enough that it doesn't matter too much. Building with parking garage elevator isn't clean and kinda sketch.
