The staff are so friendly and fantastic. Even when the valet staff were running around they were professional. The rooms and finishes feel high end. I've loved our stay here and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel doesn't justify the price, which was around $2000 for 4 nights! The breakfast was extremely limited, offering almost no choices. The best option available was a self-service Belgian waffle. The room was not clean; there was dog food left from the previous occupant, along with some of their dog's hair. The reception staff were unhelpful. They refused to assist a fellow hotel guest who needed to order a taxi to the airport. Adding to the list of issues, they failed to wake me up at the requested time. When I inquired about this, they admitted they had forgotten. In my opinion, it's best to avoid this hotel altogether.

This Hampton Inn location is under construction and is not closed during this renovation. There was no communication that this would occur at booking or communicated during check-in, and charging full price ($250 for a one night stay, with parking) is absurd. Water shut-offs and an exceptional amount of dust in all elevators and what seems to be an understaffed hotel that looks fatigued by the whole thing will greet you now through October 2022. I would have stayed anywhere else if I knew construction was occurring, but brand loyalty got the better of me. Never again for both this location and Brand. Why two stars and not 1? Afternoon staff got me in early and was very accommodating (but didn't tell me about any of the issues I was about to see, and construction noise wasn't present in the lobby but was a jackhammer in my actual room on the 8th floor). Evening staff, when I presented to them that my in-room refrigerator was not working, offered to store my medication/leftovers downstairs, and not until I went downstairs with everything in tow did they offer to have someone come up and replace the fridge. Comically this wasn't the first option. I love a glass half full story, but I just couldn't with the Hampton Inn in Austin. Never again.

The location of the hotel is just perfect if you're attending SXSW festival as it's just a walking distance away. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Every day you have fresh lemonade in the hallway which was great when popping in and out between sessions. The room is spacious with a fully renovated bathroom and a cozy, comfy bed - exactly what we needed after a long day at the festival. Overall, I loved my stay here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Austin. With its prime location, large rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff, it truly has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Thank you Hampton Inn and Suites for making our trip memorable!

Guy at the front desk was the Icelandic tattoo on his arm was really good to us. Very accommodating. Full of info about the town. Breakfast was hot and on time and the area I ate it in was nicer than the restaurant I had lunch in after I left. Quiet. Happy respectful customer service. And to think we reserved a room there by accident! A very good experience and I will plan on staying there again next time I'm in town.

Room was very nice & ultra clean & modern, big comfy bed, big TV, great shower, quality shampoo, conditioner & moisture cream. Good breakfast, buffet style including make your own waffles super tasty. Choice of cereals, porridge, buns, bagels, bread & good coffee. Also had cute outdoor pool for warmer times. Excellent location as near everything we wanted. Walk to lots of food and drink options. Happily go back for a return visit!

10/10 Exceeded expectations inside and outside with valet. Valet Aggie overnight is a queen & Kevin in the day time is so informative! Reception team amazing from start to finish, they really make you feel welcome. Breakfast is a great assortment, eggs were a little watery and juice machine was off but they had plenty other bev options. Beds are luxurious, I want those pillows!! Views are great, showers are A plus!! Amazing bathrooms and coffee room availability is a must for me and luggage carts..your girl has a lot to carry as a filmmaker and visual journalist. So many great pics and vids; the decor is on point! Thanks Hilton & Hampton, love being a newbie to Hilton honors

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Austin Downtown Hampton Inn. Rooms were clean, location offered plenty of restaurants, bars, river activities within walking distance. Jon and Kevin provided quality & professional valet service. Thank you! A Hilton Honor Family

We enjoyed our stay very much, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated with a nice shower and the ZERO/0 bath amenities were fantastic. The free breakfast was delicious with many options & we enjoyed sitting in the outside area on the second floor of the hotel. Assistant General Manager Michael Vo was very friendly, answered our many questions throughout the weekend and we enjoyed chatting with him. The staff we encountered were pleasant and we would stay at this hotel again.

My bed was completely warped. I was dead tired after work so I didn't have the energy to complain and change rooms at the time. But it definitely messed up my back for a couple of days. Worst sleep I've had in a long time. They had a breakfast buffet which was okay. Being "Free" was the best part about it. Next time I'm in Austin for work - I will definitely be staying at another location.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. The service was quick, polite and helpful. One of the elevators was broken, it wouldn't close the door so you could go up. The breakfast was passable, nothing really special. My biggest complaint is that this is a pretty expensive place to stay for what it is. There's a parking garage attached to the hotel, with a door next to the elevators that goes right out to it. But they still charge you $55 to valet park your car for a day! Why?!? If I pulled into the garage I'm actually CLOSER to the elevators! All-in-all, I ended up with $536 in charges for one day's stay. I wouldn't do it again. I know Austin is just expensive (what do you expect?) but that's pretty silly for what it was.

We stayed here for a quick weekend trip to catch a show and we absolutely loved how close it was to everything. The rooms were also great as they were clean and spacious. We loved the valet service as they treated us very well and gave exceptional service. Thank you to Jonathan and the rest of the crew who worked at the Valet service who were awesome! The free breakfast was a plus and was pretty good overall! We would definitely return here.

We stayed here for a quick one night trip for a concert. I was a little nervous about the location because downtowns can be stressful. But the moment I pulled up, the valet was very helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The staff were extremely helpful in assisting with a cab and some other services. Everything was clean and accommodating in the room. Overall, it was a stress-free and enjoyable experience! I highly recommend this hotel and location.

Here on a business trip. Love how close and easy access to 35 hwy. Rooms are nice and clean. Bed is super comfortable. Not a lot of noise. Perfectly situated with restaurants everywhere. Only downside was valet parking is $55 a night.

my friend and i stayed here overnight and had a great stay. staff were helpful and kind. the room was very clean and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. we enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning too. valet parking took a lot of stress away because we didn't have to worry about our car at all. overall a great place to stay and i would definitely come back.

Great stay. Attentive front desk. Immaculately clean and fresh. Close to wonderful restaurants, bars, entertainment. Despite being in the middle of downtown surprisingly quiet. No street noise to disturb sleep on great mattress. ๐Ÿ‘

A great location that is very close the to convention center and the Austin Marriott. The front desk staff were friendly, there was a water station with fruit in the lobby, and the elevators worked with good travel speed (If you know, you know this is a factor). My room was fresh and updated to a nice modern look. The room was clean and amenities were available. There was a water refill station on my floor next to the ice maker, so be sure to pack your water bottle. The HVAC worked well as I had to run the AC during the day and then a cold front came though and I had to run the heater! (Typical Texas weather). I slept great and it was quiet. Breakfast was good and pretty standard. I only grabbed a banana and an apple. Do know to ask about how parking works here. There is a public garage across the street. Overall a great stay! Aimbridge wins again!

The hotel itself was great. Breakfast had a good variety, the room was clean and well maintained, everyone was friendly and kind. The biggest issue was the valet. Only one valet could drive a manual transmission so most of the time they just walked me to their garage and I parked my own car which was a little disappointing otherwise good experience

Great upscale hotel, with outdoor pool and a crazy good upscale "continental breakfast" with tons of toppings for the waffles, cereal and oatmeal eggs, etc. Delicious! So much more than just continental! Great rooms - very quiet. Just 6 blocks or so from the famous party strip of 6th Street and right downtown for lots of restaurant exploration. Would definitely use again!

The location is just right. I was in town for a conference that was in the Convention Center attached to the Marriott Downtown. I chose to stay at the Hampton Inn being a loyal Hilton customer. Sure the Hampton could use some maintenance (cracked tile in elevators) but it was clean and the staff was so friendly! Having a hot breakfast included is always a nice perk and much appreciated!

I must have received one of the new rooms because it was great! Comfy bed, great bathroom with upgraded lighting thatโ€™s great for make up. 15th floor was quiet. Theyโ€™ve added the filtered water dispensers to every floor which is great! Thermostat was in a weird spot by the window and a bit hard to notice. Cons: -the elevators being wildly slow! It felt like 5+ minutes every trip. They took one down for maintenance on the Saturday of our stay making it worse(the maintenance was being done on my floor and it was varnish/new flooring work) -while directly in front of the hotel was fine, walk around the corner and the unhoused on that block were very aggressive, blocking your path and screaming obscenities/names at you. This is an overall issue in the area. -got to see some tense interactions between other guests and management. -I digitally checked in and my room was not ready on time. They held our bags so not the end of the world but with 4 pm check ins, thatโ€™s not a great look.

The places was clean when I got there nice views the breakfast nothing special. You do have to pay a 50 dollar if you want valet overnight which I would recommend hard finding a good place to park. And a another fee i which is about less than 100dollars but more than 50 for a hold in case if you do damage.

Nice hotel, within walking distance to everything. We stayed three rainy nights, so we chose valet service which was quite pricey at $52 a night in my opinion. Nick was a great valet & made the price less painful.

Room I had requested (and verified was available) was not in fact available at time of check in. Hotel staff was rude and not attentive. It was almost as if guests were a bother to them. Not one salutation was given at any time of the day. The nicest personnel at this establishment were the valet drivers although they (along with front desk staff) failed to mention it was an additional 53 dollar fee per night after taxes. We stayed for a total of 5 nights so that bill came as a surprise. At time of check in, it was mentioned that maintenance was being done in the two floors below ours, which could have been communicated to us earlier, giving us plenty of time to make different accommodations as this was booked over a month in advance. I came close to cancelling the rest of my nights with this establishment and going elsewhere but it was too late. I would like to mention that this establishment does not embody the Hilton brand and retraining should be conducted to the front desk staff on proper etiquette in hospitality. As a current military service member and airline pilot, I am very familiar with how to treat others with respect and attentiveness, which is why I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone of my peers.

I loved this hotel - I stayed here for 10 nights. The room was spacious, and had a desk where I could sit and work. The location is perfect - a little away from the 6th street chaos, and all main attractions in the area are within walking distance. The gym was also well equipped. My stay included free breakfast and this was also delicious! Staff were friendly and the hotel wifi worked well during my stay.

The employees were all friendly and breakfast was fine, so that was good. The issues that we had with this place was we were forced to use valet parking, along with tips and being charged $50 per night which we didn't plan for. Also, there was construction going on in the building and it was very loud every day that we were there. Definitely didn't want to be in the hotel room for most of the day. Another issue that we had is they put a $225 charge on your card for incidentals. Another issue that we had was when we checked out we asked the person up front if their were going to be anymore charges because if there were, we would need to put extra charges on a different card. The person said no and that the previous amount charged would be refunded. Then surprise, surprise, there was a new charge on my card after I had already left downtown so I had to call and submit a form to get it fixed. I definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel.

I completely enjoyed staying at this hotel. I has an early flight in and was upgraded to early check in, something that I'm sure they can't do very often. I had groceries delivered and they were placed in my room fridge. They were extremely nice and unbothered by requests. I even communicated with them via text and they checked on me during the stay. Amazing place, very friendly and took care of the guests.
