This
Hampton
Inn
location
is
under
construction
and
is
not
closed
during
this
renovation.
There
was
no
communication
that
this
would
occur
at
booking
or
communicated
during
check-in,
and
charging
full
price
($250
for
a
one
night
stay,
with
parking)
is
absurd.
Water
shut-offs
and
an
exceptional
amount
of
dust
in
all
elevators
and
what
seems
to
be
an
understaffed
hotel
that
looks
fatigued
by
the
whole
thing
will
greet
you
now
through
October
2022.
I
would
have
stayed
anywhere
else
if
I
knew
construction
was
occurring,
but
brand
loyalty
got
the
better
of
me.
Never
again
for
both
this
location
and
Brand.
Why
two
stars
and
not
1?
Afternoon
staff
got
me
in
early
and
was
very
accommodating
(but
didn't
tell
me
about
any
of
the
issues
I
was
about
to
see,
and
construction
noise
wasn't
present
in
the
lobby
but
was
a
jackhammer
in
my
actual
room
on
the
8th
floor).
Evening
staff,
when
I
presented
to
them
that
my
in-room
refrigerator
was
not
working,
offered
to
store
my
medication/leftovers
downstairs,
and
not
until
I
went
downstairs
with
everything
in
tow
did
they
offer
to
have
someone
come
up
and
replace
the
fridge.
Comically
this
wasn't
the
first
option.
I
love
a
glass
half
full
story,
but
I
just
couldn't
with
the
Hampton
Inn
in
Austin.
Never
again.
