I would stay here again just for the gym. Most hotel gyms are a treadmill and a couple of weights. But this one, WOW made for business travelers who still need a good workout. The restaurant has a great alfredo and I love the location. The only downside is getting in and out of the hotel. Otherwise count it all good.

I stayed here for two nights while in Austin for work. The hotel is about 10-15min drive from the airport and sorta shares a parking lot with the Springhill suites next door. The hotel has been recently renovated recently and has the nicest gym I've seen at a Marriott. The rooms are pretty nice and clean with lots of plugs bland lighting by the bed. The M lounge is pretty nice with a good spread for breakfast and decent selection of drinks. There was a convention/events going on during my stay and seems to be lots of partying going on that I can hear from room but do die down late at night. Hopefully its a one time thing and it will be quieter the next time I stay. Not really a lot of restaurants close by but the one onsite is pretty decent for a hotel restaurant.

I stayed here a few weeks ago, with a friend. Cole at the front desk was phenomenal and helped us get our rooms near each-other. He was extremely friendly and helpful and always remembered us when we dropped by the desk. I wanted to make sure he is recognized as he is super star material!

I travel for work and was here for less than 24 hours, so I can’t speak on all of the amenities, but this location has the best gym I’ve seen yet for a hotel! I wish I had gotten to stay here longer, but hopefully I’ll cross paths again further down the road!

Rooms are newer and pretty up to date. Huge built in tv and it’s very clean. The halls feel a little cold and have an off smell. The staff are just super nice! Food and drink prices are outrageous. The huge downfall for me is the hideous parking! The garage smells like pure sewage. We unfortunately had to park at another hotel because of the lack of parking. Of course no one parked in the garage because it’s so gross.

Renovations are spectacular! Love the M Lounge and fitness center especially. Javier Garza “Javier the Concierge” was especially fantastic as was William, Angela, and Jam. Will be returning possibly with my sales team or with family. Great property for either with easy Uber access to Austin attractions.

By far the best of all the various Marriott brands nearby. After trying several others (Aloft, Fairfield, Courtyard, Southpark), I’ll absolutely choose this one in the future. The gym is shockingly good; it’s huge and we’ll equipped—a major plus. Design is fresh and sophisticated for a major brand. The rooms are surprisingly stylish and comfortable. The beds in particular are quite good, with the pillows being much better than you get in, say, an Aloft. Love the huge TV. My only design complaint is the barn door on the bathroom—aren’t we done with this yet?? It’s fine if you’re alone but terrible when you’re not. Location is convenient for my particular route from the airport, but otherwise I would not stay in this area. (When I have more time in Austin, I stay downtown.) All in all, better than expected, and I’ll certainly stay again.

Warning, no swimming pool no swimming pool No swimming pool. You can use the one next-door at Springhill suites but we all know what those are like, yuck. I stayed here years ago and they had a very nice pool and they ripped it out so they could put in meeting rooms which I completely understand. It’s going to make more money, but not having a swimming pool in Austin Texas, really? The remodel is gorgeous, the rooms are gorgeous. The M club is very nice. However, whoever the designer is that picked a barn door for a bathroom in a bedroom should be horsewhipped as we say in Texas. So if you’re a couple or sharing a room with a work companion, those bathroom barn doors leave very little privacy. You can hear everything and the toilet is right by the barn door so you can only imagine how little privacy you have. They need to rip out every single barn door and replace it with a heavy normal bathroom door. SO GROSS! I’m lifetime titanium with Marriott and I’ve only seen these barn doors in a couple of hotels I think even those were eventually ripped out. If it wasn’t for those nasty barn doors on the bathrooms in the bedrooms this would’ve gotten 4 stars. Not a hotel for a couples or roommates. Only a hotel if you’re single and staying in the room by yourself because of those disgusting barn doors on the bathroom.

We stayed here because it was close to our concert venue at the Moody Theater. The lobby is large and welcoming with many seating options. There’s a bar, and an Italian restaurant inside this hotel. We stayed in a double room. It was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable with four pillows each. The room had a nice set up with a chair, large shelf desk, mini refrigerator, safe, coffee maker and a boxed coffee and tea items. The bathroom had a modern barn door that doesn’t lock and has a big gap. Since there’s no vent, that gap allows for your partner to hear what’s going on in there. I suggest turning on the tv for some modesty. If the door would have locked and there was a vent, I would have added another star to this review. My husband asked the clerk for two extra coffee trays. The clerk was very friendly and courteous.

I was trying to leave five stars based on my stay. Their staffs are nice, and the atmosphere is comfy. Everything seems good. However, I have to change my review today. Because I got a wrong charge. I called their customer service, and they did an investigation. Then they found out that somebody wrote the wrong room number in the restaurant, and it was charged to my room. What? ! So If I haven’t noticed it , I would pay for someone else’s bill? I don’t know if this was a mistake or fraud, but this is a serious problem. Everyone needs to double check your bill. This Shouldn’t happen in this place.

Marriott traditionally holds itself to a high standard and this is why we enjoy staying at Marriott properties. This stay, however, came short of those standards. First the positive. Great location for south Austin. The hotel has been given a beautiful facelift, making it a very contemporary hotel. There is no additional charge for parking and the hotel has an underground parking garage to keep your vehicle protected from the elements. The rooms now come equipped with an extremely large smart TV, providing you with streaming choices in HD. When we brought our problems to the staff, they were very attentive and assured us it would be taken care of. Now the negative. Our room was chilled and after two hours, failed to get warm. Maintenance was called and discovered that the configuration inside the thermostat was set to another type of heating system, making it inoperable. Once the thermostat was configured correctly, we had heat. The shower comes with wall mounted dispensers for shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. They were empty except for conditioner. One of our bath towels was coated with short black curly hairs which raised concerns about the cleanliness of our room. The problems were not enough for us to eliminate this hotel from our stay list but we will certainly check our room closely before settling in.

checked most of the boxes but not the one that justifies the $ for a full Marriott....the restaurant was a disaster and not just one time. Chronically understaffed - the ol covid era "we are short-staffed" does not cut it any longer - especially in TX. Was a horrible experience to get food, service, and worst of all - even to get a cup of coffee was a loooong line. Just put a pot out for the guests if you can't serve quickly or hire staff! Will not return or recommend.

This is almost a nice hotel. The gym is better than most. The room is ok, even with the Marriott standard of having TVs which are defaulted on terrible motion smoothing, and have no way of adjusting the volume with an hdmi direct connect. The bed is not the worst. What is unacceptable is having to run the shower for 20 minutes to get hot water when your room is on the west side of the building.

Great hotel with a full service lounge. Food is similar to what is offerred at the resturant. Its our families' 2nd favorite lounge. One of the servers has been there the past two years we booked here and she keeps the place going.

There was nothing not to like. The recently remodeled rooms were spacious. There were great eateries within walkable distance. I would definitely stay there again.

I was here when it was under construction so I was really excited to see the finish product. First, I definitely will be coming back here for a happy hour or dinner even if I'm not spending the night. Second, the shampoo and conditioner had my hair feeling so soft for days!! Looking forward to having another excuse to be back!

Awesome hotel. Rooms were updated and clean. The TV was 70in and stream ready. Food was good. Just need to update the pantry with Advil and some fruit for breakfast. Friendly staff.

We were in town for a short visit for wife's birthday.... I chose Marriott over some of the others out there because the proximity to food and that decision was super awesome!!! I couldn't go 5 stars because they messed up the pillows even after double triple checking via the phone and with front desk who verified on the walkie talkie that down pillows were not in our room.... Grrrrr someone needs education on how to pay attention to small details that can become a bigger deal. Luckily we travel with EpiPens because of the oversight. I reached out to Eric on the management side of things to explain the reason for visit... He and his team set up chocolate covered strawberries and champagne as we checked into our room and I got bonus points from the wife! She definitely felt special. Minus the pillows removal. I am very pleased with the decision. From the check in with a nice gentleman down front. We felt valued and the hospitality was super top notch! All team members should be commended!!!! The maintenance crew was in our room to fix a leaking refrigerator and they were so polite and genuine! The cleaning crew was awesome they greeted us as we walked by and were very generous. The stay was peaceful and vibrant Every time we entered our room! The bathroom was legit...the shower had a luxurious feel... I will look to stay with them again if the price is right. We got a great special. (booked early) I feel that it was a great value! Thank you Marriott for the hospitality. They even had the M club lounge which we got to meet Javier whom made us feel about as VIP as one could do. His conversation was very pleasant and informative. We will have you on first check for the next stay when we return to the area. Respectfully, A very pleased Bonvoy Member (minus the pillows again...if anyone READs these) Bryan Will add more photos

Very comfortable convenient location on the south west side of Austin. The king suite was great and had one of the best layouts and conveniences placed in the room. From a very nice kitchenette, to a charging platform for phones, auto and room keys, spacious desk for working in suite, and a large tv that could easily be positioned for watching from the sofa or the bed. Large bath and walk in shower. Not a 5 star rating because the microwave in kitchenette was not operational. The shower floor was worn and it was difficult to determine if this was wear from age or dirty. Some cleaning challenges as clearly staff are short and I found a room key with a hotel business card, which I returned to the front desk. The clerk on duty indicated that employee had not been at the hotel for some time, so how thoroughly is the room really cleaned.

My stay was excellent at this property. The amenities were top notch and the rooms were modernly refreshed. The staff was professional and friendly especially the people working in the concierge lounge. I want to make special mention of Olean the auditor. I noticed he was everywhere always trying to address a customer's needs. I will definitely be staying at this property again when I go to Austin.

Pablo, Jeanette, Jose and the guy at the front desk with gray hair. And young man at the bar who kept me supplied with diet Dr. Pepper. Perfect service. Great stay. Would be nice to have microwaves in the rooms. Will be back

Was so excited to stay at this beautiful hotel but definitely disappointed. Check in was great but we had two issues otherwise both involving poor customer service..which is the most important thing to me when staying somewhere 1. When we got in to our room we wondered if we could get robes and called the front desk. We were told they’d send some up soon or check to see if they had any and call back - they never called back or brought any. 2. We were gone from the hotel from 10 am - 4 pm - guess housekeeping hadn’t come yet which is fine. When we were leaving the hotel again at 6:30 pm housekeeping seemed to be in the area around our room and asked if we needed it. We said yes and left to go out. When we came back beds were unmade. They just replaced the towels and left. Didn’t even replace or put any more bar soaps or lotion…called downstairs from the phone in my room but it rang for a while and no one picked up so just hung up… Definitely not expected from a Marriott

I enjoyed the workout room. The staff were all kind, friendly and very helpful. They checked in our group with smiles on their face. They were all knowledgeable about who we were and what was going on. They were eager to make our stay comfortable. I felt like they did just that.
