First of all, the front desk staff were incredibly nice and friendly and helpful. I wish I could give them 5 stars. Otherwise the hotel was a total waste of money. The room was tiny for the price- even for the location. If you want a true Austin stay and feel this is not it. The breakfast was literal extortion. It cost 8$ for the food, per order, and was served in a small cardboard container. For the price of this hotel it was not only not good food but ridiculous. If you are willing to pay that price- pick a more comfortable room with a complimentary breakfast. The bed was pretty comfortable and we easily slept with our 4 year old in the king size.

Old, dingy rooms. Carpet is dusty and old. The coffee maker (the one appliance you get in your room) didn’t work. Front desk staff is pleasant. Location is nice. However, if you want comfort and cleanliness with updated accommodations, I recommend taking a pass on staying here

The staff was friendly but the room was completely inadequate. It seemed like they spent so much time trying to make it look trendy that they forgot about function. The tiny closet wasn't long enough to hang a dress. There wasn't a microwave. No shelf in the shower to put anything on and the built in shower products smelled like men's deodorant. It was also very noisy.

It is a nice hotel, but prepare to hear every car horn, every revved engine, and every neighbor. We were on the 4th floor and were woken numerous times be cars, horns, our neighbors opening/closing their blind, other unidentified noises. We were very disappointed and will stay at any other Domain hotel when returning to the area. A very disappointing Marriott experience.

I would Not recommend Aloft in Northwest Austin. I had stayed in Plano Location and it was very hip. I was so excited to pay the extra $ to take my new GF there. This place was disappointing. I wonder if this was built after it got bought out by Hilton? Small Bathroom with No fan. I thought that was against building code. There was like no counter space on bathroom cabinet- truly smallest in any hotel I have ever stayed in. They sell Breakfast in a paper sack , Really?? The pool was nothing to talk about. Indoor pool reminded me a Super 8 or something. Plano location had outdoor pool with fire etc. and had music on weekends. It was a place for locals to hang out on Friday night. Not this place. They claimed to have live music. It was one young kid with guitar. Nobody was even sitting in there; although; the bar looked nice.

The front desk staff were remarkably friendly and the Assistant General Manager Mr. Nate Specchio was truly amazing! Although he was dealing with another situation which we could see was taking much of his time, he immediately assisted us as soon as he was done. Mr. Specchio has fantastic customer service and enormous amount of patience, he was able to resolve our issue and move us to another room in very little time. Also, seen us down stairs later and took the time to check in and make sure our room was satisfactory. The bartender "Mike" was also outstanding, we had a great time enjoying drinks! Thank you again Nate and Mike for helping make our evening at the Domain perfect! V/r Erika Britton

Here staying during a biz trip. Front staff was trash when i checked in — asked me three times how many keys i wanted, talked to other people while helping me. AC in the room did not fully work properly. Hotel staff did not check on me once — i was there for four days. The noise during the weekends is BAD. I don’t get woken up by noise easily. This was LOUD. Also, people staying here looked like trash. Not my kind of hotel. Won’t stay in this chain ever again.

Great location in the Domain, parking place just across the street. Not the best breakfast 😕 Not enough room in the "so called cupboard" they have

Nice looking place, but took away a few stars for three reasons. 1) My friend had a large, live cockroach in their room (not my room). We believe it came from the vent above the shower. My friend killed it and asked the staff to clean it up before we got back at in the afternoon. They didn't come in to clean it. 2) The bed was decent but a little lopsided due to wear over time. 3) The room was only cleaned once while I was there for 3 days.

This place was perfect for a getaway weekend, I spent time for my birthday walking the shops and hanging out with family and friends just to come back to a hotel where the staff was extremely kind and inviting, the rooms were beautiful, and was just a fun place to be. (could use a bigger pool though)

Such a beautiful place in a great location! Staff has always been very kind and helpful. Can be a bit noisy outside but to be expected with the location and popular shops around! Overall, it really quite nice to get a place where we can totally enjoy the area with just walking to everything!!!!!!

I was staying here on an official trip. I stayed here for four days. The service is great, the staff is very helpful, and you get the coffee and water free. Sometimes staff will give you their breakfast coupon worth $10 and I was lucky to get it for each day. This helped me to have my breakfast as pearl waffle with strawberry, banana and blueberries. Room service for cleaning or getting clean towels, is upon request only. There's a bar where you get very reasonable drinks, cocktails, beer etc. There's also a dining table and sofa to sit and be comfortable as evenings some days there's live music. The time I was staying here it was Mike's tenth anniversary at the bar and there was a big poster wishing him congratulations! Check in and check out was very easy and quick. I loved my stay here. The rooms are nice and clean, wifi is free and no password required. There's a fridge in the room, spacious with a restroom, standing shower and a place to hang your clothes with iron and board, dryer and other toiletries. It's a nice place to stay. I will recommend it as my office was close to the hotel and it was walking distance for me.

Find a different place to stay at The Domain. Made my reservations a week in advance (Gold Marriott member) and have never had ANY PROBLEMS LIKE I HAD HERE. Go to check in (around 9:30pm) & was told they didn’t have any King beds (even though my reservation was for a King). I got a meager ‘Sorry’. They preceded to tell me there were over booked by 14 King rooms and now they were down to just 6 over bookings. Told them I was on a weekend getaway with my husband and didn’t want a queen room- they could have cared less. After the manager came out to hear my story, she was just as unapologetic. They offered me 5000 points (which is hardly anything- usually takes close to 25k points to get a free night). Asked if I could be comped for a night and they said no. I suggested they look to see if I could move into a King room the next night (they should have offered this) & they were able to find a room. They did give me the 5000 points & 2 tickets to free breakfast (didn’t use) & moved the second night. The queen room (6th floor) was warm but ok. The King room (3rd floor) was much cooler but you could hear cars all night long speeding down the street. Stay somewhere else if you can. It was convenient to shopping & eating.

The rooms are ok, but they're a bit dark. Not a lot of natural light. Bathrooms in the king suite do not have doors. Open shower and toilet. Beds were comfortable. As platinum elite, it was nice to be recognized with a snack box and a letter. That didn't happen on my last stay here, but it was nice to have it happen this time.

Great location as it is walking distance to all the shops at the Domain. It is difficult to get an early check in before 3 as we tried around 10am and just before 3pm to get a room even with Titanium Marriott status. Additionally, our status was never acknowledged but we were offered the points as the arrival gift. King rooms were not available even at 3pm so we opted for a 2 queen room. The room itself is fine, although it was a bit dated. There is Dry Bar amenities in the room although there was no body lotion to be found. There were two complimentary sets of ear plugs which worried me because I thought I was going to be listening to music from outside all night long. I didn't hear any music however, the AC unit is one of the older ones that sits under the window. It is so loud when it kicks on (you hear the thermostat kick on and then the unit powers up) and this happened several times throughout the night before I got up and turned off the AC. There is a parking garage behind the hotel although it fills up very fast with shopping parking. For overnight stays, you are given a parking pass (overnight parking is $10). Overall, it is a convenient location but the facilities could be updated. There is also complimentary coffee and water in the lobby and additional snacks can be purchased.

The gym is tiny and has a couple of treadmills, elliptical and weights. There were 4 of us in there at the same time and it felt crowded. The entry way is nice and spacious and I wish they'd used some of that space for the gym. There is a very small pool probably more for soaking your feet more than swimming. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom us modern. There are plenty of USB plugs right next to the bed. The water temperature and spray is very nice. Overall I enjoyed the location as it's close to the Domain shopping area but the gym was a big disappointment

Had a great stay here, love the modern touches throughout the hotel and Tyler, who greeted me was amazing.

It is a nice hotel with excellent location in the domain area of Austin. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and friendly and helpful. Excellent service from Mylecia and Emily. Great job girls! Keep it up!

First of all we had a reservation. The most disappointing experience, was given the option for online checkin and when we showed up we had no room. I find it ironic they want us to go touchelss until it suits them. Our family had no room and was told we weren’t high enough on the Marriott point chain to do anything- From here on out business or pleasure will avoid Marriott

Stayed one night from hell here. The bar that's attached the building on the first floor was playing music at 11 into the wee hours of the morning which meant I got no sleep from the paper thin windows. Staff was unapologetic "you know you booked a hotel in the Domain?" Manager promised points as comp for charging me for the whole 4 nights after I bailed night 1. But he didn't... Until I opened a case with Marriott.

Great location for business trips in the domain. Highlight was the bartender Mike we had great conversations with him and and he makes great cocktails. Beds were really comfy.

Dorm room chic with the quality of IKEA attempting to pass itself off as upscale or elegant. While I may not be the target demographic, no demographic wants wallpaper splitting from the wall or disrepair. Staff was friendly enough but not professional. Unbelievable that they are able to charge prices comparable to a higher end hotel.

I felt like the queen for the night! Super awesome service and they even hooked me up with a toothbrush and toothpaste because I hadn’t planned on staying in Austin but wound up having to! The service at the front was very professional, courteous and super friendly! I would definitely stay there again if I needed to stay in Austin again.

Amazing service from an incredibly friendly staff. Would absolutely stay here again next time I come to Austin! The hotel is in a prime location in the Domain, so lots of food and restaurants were an easy walk away (even in the August Texas heat!). Even with all of the restaurants and shops around, I didn't hear a single noise from the street level. The front desk staff was some of the most kind staff I've ever met at a hotel, and they truly cared about the guest experience.

The worst experiencie at the any hotel in my Life; do they told the personal that rooms need to be Clean it??? Or is the Job of the Guest that ask to do their duties, and if you tell the Lady at the front desk, she get angry and start complaining; so with who do we need to talk, or are them used to be in a place like that to work, Shame on you; the dirtiest and worst actitude I have seen ever!!!!!!
