Once our flight arrived at 1:30pm we called and asked if we could possibly drop off our bags or check in early. We were told “no ma’am” which was fine. We then dropped of our belongings at a friends home and figured we would check in later. At 11:30 pm we walk into the hotel with the lobby full. There was one person working. He said the key system wasn’t working so he was checking in guests on the computer then running to each floor to manually open doors to rooms that guests said were theirs (security/safety risk). At 12:30 am he opened the room that I had booked and paid for a month prior and there was another persons items in and the bathroom light was on. I called him back and he said to wait downstairs. We waited downstairs until 1:30 am and he then told us the hotel was full, told me he canceled my room so I will get a refund and moved on to help another guest. He didn’t offer a list of other hotels in the area or even pause to apologize. We were kicked out of the hotel room (which he confirmed was booked under my name and already paid for) and told to find another room at 1:30 am in a city we were not familiar with and didn’t not have a car in. The lobby was full of other guests also having an equally unpleasant experience. The next Marriott Fairfield we chose to stay at said they were not affiliated but mentioned we should be reimbursed for the last minute and more expensive room we were forced to book at 2 am. The hotel owners have not done anything more than send two responses with brief insincere apologies. We have then tried calling Marriott corporate 4 separate times and put in 4 claims and still have not received a cal or email 3 weeks later. First and last time with this company. But lets be honest, they do not care about us at all.

I had stayed at this hotel with my family (of 5 big people) twice within the past two weeks (traveling around the cities and accommodating our round trip flight). In the first stay, their computer system was down, so we had to leave our items in their conference room (locked). Understandably, the person working up front was overwhelmed, but was still courteous to us. While that was an inconvenience, the hotel lobby and halls from what I had seen were clean. The room was a decent size; we had booked for the two bed + folding couch room (no complaints about size/spacing). A small thing I noticed was one of the staff smoking in front of the building where there was a “no smoking within 15 feet” sign hung before the doors. In our second trip, they accommodated us by letting us check in an hour early since we had arrived earlier than anticipated. We had the same type of room on a different floor. 3 things I noticed: the tub was dirty (pink bacteria clusters in the corners and mold under the caulk); the toilet handle was broken and kept dispensing water; and when I changed the thermostat of the room to “auto,” it began to emit a burning smell instantly. Budget-wise, it was okay, but you’ll find a more decent hotel elsewhere.

I was on this location for the proximity to my work, but definitely I don't recommend this hotel, # 1, I asked for towels and they didn't have any to exchange the ones I used; # 2, the water on the pool is not clean, and cold; # 3, gym facilities are ok, but equipment not works properly; # 4, breakfast area is not organized, even the breakfast Attendant ask for my room number several times, and they told me was not complementary, they told I have to pay; # 5 customer service lack of empathy, I received an extra charge for a pet I didn't have, I'm allergic to pets (seems like the guest before me was having pets, cause I can't stop sneezing) I requestedroom moved, and Front desk state no rooms was available, and if I want to move I should paid an extra charge, really!!! Also I encounter a lot of bad attitude coming from front desk (I believe the gentleman name is Manuel) he definitely need more training, Tyler was more condescending, respectful and helpful, so everyone who is reading this be careful with this place.

I was disappointed with my visit this time around. The bathroom shower looked nasty. I'm assuming it's just rust but not pleasant to look at. The way the shower doors were set up there was no way to get in without getting wet. It was an overhead shower head and the water automatically starts pouring out over you when you turn it on. Toilet clogged upon first use and it ran the entire weekend i was there. Non stop. Very annoying. I guess there was a leak. The bowl was losing water somehow so the tank would run again to top off the water level then lose water then refill... over and over and over. So annoying. When we arrived there were bus loads of high school children. That was scary but thankfully they were quiet. Place was oversold and stayed during the weekend where apparently they were switching door locks and keys so we never had access to our room on our own. We had to wait on the front desk person everytime we needed in our room. Also at breakfast they had no butter no honey no napkins

I am writing this review as a honored Bonvoy member. The Marriott Franchise licensing team must audit the lodging LLC that runs this place the neighboring properties… The hotel has run out of soap and towels as of this morning. For a Marriott chain and the price point in Austin, this hotel is not worth to stay !

I liked this hotel. The staff was nice, the design was typical of a Marriott hotel, the breakfast was good. There are 2 other hotels nearby. It's located well. What I needed was 15-20 minutes away max. Nice pond nearby. Plenty of parking.

This hotel was decent. Wish they had queen size beds instead of full size. The pool was a little small but heated and my toddler loved it. It also is opened to 11 pm which is awesome. The beds were comfortable and soft. Breakfast was GREAT. They had melon and my toddler was thrilled! Lots of choices for breakfast which is a big PLUS in my book. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was good woth the room but most of the amenities like the pool was closed, that should be on the reservation when you book. The service was meh, you walk in to people who definitely do not want to be there.

Stayed at this Fairfield Inn for couple Of nights for work travel. Excellent location, it’s close to major highways, lots of restaurants nearby & ample parking (no EV charging stations though). Rooms are clean but but small, Staff is courteous & do a good job. My only problem was their enhanced Wi-Fi didn’t work, which was not good experience as I had to work from hotel. It took much longer to get things done. They couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. Breakfast area is well stocked for a continental breakfast. Hotel Lobby is decent. We didn’t use Swimming pool or Gym, so can’t comment on those. I will go back in future as Property looks fresh & well managed.

Good hotel. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the AC worked well so I would stay again because that is what you want. The furniture is a little scratched up and dated and the AC was loud but for it's age this is a good place to be

DONT STAY HERE!! Me and my husband had to go out to Austin because he’s had to take his Plumber examination, we checked in Sep. 22 and checked out Sep. 24. We got a discounted rate for $105 and when I arrived check in was smooth, but the next morning management comes in saying I need to check out. After I explained to her we had the room for two nights she apologized. But I was upset so after my husband’s exam I told him let’s go. Then I go to check out and we drove by to Houston. The next day I got charged $52, $232, $76. I’m blowing this hotel up and each manager I spoke with gave me the run around. They told me they couldn’t find my reservation and they couldn’t dispute the charge. So I took it upon myself to cancel the card on file and dispute it with the bank. Problem solved up until today! It’s been a month and a week and my account got charged $127! I’m calling the hotel and NO RESPONSE!! This is the worst hotel experience I’ve had!! Someone needs to change management because there’s no need for them to run my bank information a month later!! Someone is definitely stealing from people that choose to stay at your hotel!

Hotel was good enough for a short stay. No cooking space or electric stoves. Only microwave and fridge available in room which would be great for much longer stays. Breakfast is same everyday no changes which is pretty boring...apart from that everything else in this place is awesome. The heated pool and the clean gym is notably awesome...housing keeping is not great. They only re arrange the rooms and barely vaccum or change sheets frequently.

Please AVOID this hotel if possible! You will defiantly get what you paid for. Upon arrival to my room I was checking in and the customer in front of me had a complaint. He told the front desk employee that he found 2 water bugs in his bed and wanted to get it changed. She told him there was nothing she could do and that all the rooms were full. She had an attitude about the situation and left it at that. It was time for me to check in and it went smoothly, but upon entering my room that's where the problem occurred. It smelled funny, it felt damp, air barely worked etc. I walk around and go into the bathroom and it's very disgusting. (See pictures attached). It was mold in the shower, it looked like the shower had just been used before I arrived there, There was a dirty, used face towel. There was red hair on the walls, mind you I'm bald so couldn't have been my hair. It smelled horrible, It was disgusting. No way I wanted to take a shower or even sleep there. I notified the front desk and they told me there is nothing they could do because they were full. I didn't feel comfortable staying there for the night. I called a family member who stayed close and asked if I could just stay they night to take a shower and get a decent night sleep. I called Marriott customer service opened a customer complaint case that night. I left and came back to check out the hotel next morning, I was asked by the front desk employee why I opened a case and how can it be fixed. When I asked to speak to the manager they were unavailable and was told they would be calling me the next day. It has been 10 days. I have emailed the GM, and assistant GM, 2x called 2x, and I still have not gotten a response from anyone. So, maybe they will see this post and reach out because I am not letting this go. I have been a Marriott member for years and never had a complaint and this has by far been the worse stay! I should've known with it being a 2 star hotel. Never again.

Horrible experience, lost money, and had to sleep in car because of this location having new and/ or different check in policies concerning deposit for incidentals. I was refused check in because most cards that most people use for this sort of thing are not accepted here. Making matters worse, went to my bank to deposit cash via ATM only to have the ATM malfunction and not return my card, didn't get it back until the next afternoon. Only major credit cards and mainstream bank/ FCU debit cards are accepted according to the lady at the front desk that did not allow me to check into my already paid for reservation that BTW she denied me a refund for.

Nice location, but terrible service. I booked my hotel through priceline and reserved a king room. When I got there, the front desk lady told me there is no clean king room, only standard rooms. When I asked her how long it may take to clean the room (mind you this was around 4pm in the evening), she said she will let me know after talking to a room service person. She asked me to stepped aside for her to help other customers. I did and sat down for more than 45 minutes when a second lady came and asked her what is going on with me. She talked to her in Spanish (unfortunately for her I understand Spanish) and told her I booked through a third party and she does not want to give me the king room. I reserved. After their conversation, the second lady told her to allocate 7 king rooms for third party bookers and that's it. She then called me and gave me a king room. The room was just ok. Seems as if someone just left and they put things together in a hurry. Blood stain on the mattress as shown on the attached picture. This is room 301. Can be verified. Sad.

So I actually gave them a decent review and it is a really nice and comfortable hotel. I really notice that within maybe the past few years a lot of hotels charge deposits or a fee for using the market or anything else as it’s much easier to charge instead of handling cash. So I booked three stays here and was pleased with the service, however, money is money whether you use a bank card or credit card it spends all the same, I don’t see anyone turning it down when you go to book it and pay the sites sure don’t say well you are using a loaded card so no thanks money is money, next no working ice machines, no reason why they shouldn’t be ,as much as the rooms cost. I’m not swaying anyone not to stay here, the service was great and the people are very nice. Last thing most of the hotels are not providing service as most of them just don’t have the staff which is understandable, but this is still a hotel they should at least knock maybe just ask, I think you have to call down maybe a day before or maybe two and they can get them up the following day if you are staying longer than a few days or so. I enjoyed my stay.

We recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 12536 North I-35, Austin, TX. Our experience was wonderful, as usual. (We stay here when we are in town for business and pleasure.) This stay was even better this time because of a Night Clerk named Melissa. Our plans changed and Melissa went above and beyond to assist us with the cancellation of another hotel reservation and ensure we were not charged any penalties. We were scheduled to check out and extend our stay at another hotel. But because of Melissa, we extended our stay at this hotel. She was very courteous, professional, and helpful. And this is true of all the other employees. We have been greeted with smiles, no matter the hour. Everyone is courteous, professional, and helpful. We will continue to book all our future reservations with this Fairfield.

Worst customer service I have ever received. I didn’t even stay my second night there because I was still upset over the experience I had received from the night before by the front desk agent. My uncle had booked my room for me because my house did not have heat due to the my heater being broken. He had given me his credit card to use, when I had arrived she had let me know that she couldn’t check me in because the card did not match my id; which is totally understandable, I was not aware I couldn’t do that. I bank with chime and apparently it’s not supported at the hotel. I have been without heat for 4 days and I didn’t want to go back home to a 50 degree house so I asked her what should I do because those were the only two cards that I have. Her response was “ I’ll do it this one time but you need to get a REAL bank” and starts listing off all the well known banks. She then takes my card and swipes it and says “it’s just protocol” afterwards. I told her that I get it but I was highly offended that she told me I needed to get a real bank as if I could just open a bank account with a debit card on hand at 8pm on Christmas Eve. To add further to my insult/embarrassment; as I’m waiting on the elevator to go to my room, I could literally hear her telling a customer that was standing behind me while I was trying to check in; everything that was going on with me and what kind of card that I was using. I was highly embarrassed that she was telling my business to a complete stranger. When I confronted her and asked for corporates number and told her that she did not need to tell my business to people she didn’t even apologize for her actions she just said “it’s a 1800 number you can find it on google”. Completely ruined my experience there. I would rather stay in a cold house than to have to deal with something like that ever again.

Room was clean and ac works great. Front desk was nice and delightful. Shower in our king was huge. They have a lavender and eucalyptus shampoo/conditioner as well as body wash available. Bed is comfortable. We had difficulty with our door locking but too tired to make a fuss

Made a reservation about 11 30 one evening while passing through. The room I reserve was not available even though I just booked it. The first room I was given, room 326 smelled of horrible body odor? Sweat? I don’t know. Second room I was given had not been properly cleaned. Not convinced the front desk clerk didn’t attempt to quickly make it while checking to see that it was clean. There was still dirty towels in the bathroom and used soap. The next morning the computer in the lobby I was hoping to use to print a document was out of order. Would not recommend, maybe it was an off day, but I wouldn’t chance it.

This could have been a 5 star review. The hotel is nice and the room was clean, you can't ask for much more than that. The reason I had to take off a star was lack of communication. My check-in using the app would not work. This is a great feature but I have no problem checking in onsite as it only takes a minute. I noticed the hallway was really hot but I was not staying in the hallway so not a issue, at least for now. The room was nice and comfortable. I came back late afternoon on day 2 and could not get in my room. Remember the hot hallway...now its at least 90 as I try to get the lock open. After a couple minutes I went back down to talk to the front desk. They said the locks do get stuck! Really, a little notice of this known fact would have been helpful at check-in. Never try to hide problems, be upfront from the start! I tried again and still can't get this door open. I tried calling and got put on hold for 4 minutes. Now I'm really hot so I walk down again and have someone come up to get this door open and show me the magic touch required. A bit of a pull, hold and turn action to make it release. I did notice I had to force it closed from the inside to make the deadbolt lock. From past experience with locks if they start acting up don't be surprised if you are locked in when it decides to go out for the last time. The hotel needs to fix these kind of issues or not rent the room. It's that simple!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your room. This website will compare countless booking web sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down. I absolutely loved it here. Front desk were very attentive to our needs and very friendly. The staff in all areas were very courteous to us and kitchen staff worked hard to give us an excellent breakfast. Thank you all, we will definitely be coming back and staying here again. 👍😁
