I hope the person that took photos of this place made a lot of money because it is nowhere near as nice in person. What you can't tell is that this is an old motel that they threw a new coat of paint on and jacked up the prices. The lobby and restaurant are nice, but that's about all. The hallways smell musty and our room was humid and smelled so musty that I felt ill every time I was in it. I would recommend people stay away from this place. It should have been torn down, or gutted.

Stayed at this motel…won’t go so far as to call this a hotel…Friday and Saturday night. I went into the bathroom Friday night in our FIRST room and was a little shocked to see a huge cockroach in the shower, just hanging out on my razor. Let the staff know the next morning and they offered to let us change rooms. So we did. Went out for the evening Saturday, had a blast. Got to our SECOND room, went into the bathroom and there is another huge cockroach running on the counter after I tossed my toiletry bag on the counter. Called the front desk again. The solution was to change rooms again. After having several drinks and having unpacked again for the second time already, I refused the room change. I informed the gentleman that I would not change rooms, however I would expect a return of my $300 paid for a disgusting motel. Of course, the night clerk has no control over that and informed me I can speak to the manager in the morning when he/she comes in at 10:00. I will be sure to do this in front of guests checking out so they can be sure to check their belongings to make sure they’re not bringing home any roaches. I’ve stayed in hotels, as most have, innumerable times over my lifespan. I have never seen a cockroach in any single one of my stays and I’ve stayed in some pretty shady places before, unfortunately. Do not stay here! If you do, bring Raid!

I travel weekly for business and I found the Aiden to be such a gem! I was greeted and the front desk staff was thorough, pleasant and informative. My room was clean and comfortable. Their on site bar and restaurant was clean, friendly with great prices and tasty food. The pool was like being on vacation with gazebo and jacuzzi. Conveniently located with tons of amenities. This will be my go to moving forward while staying in Austin TX.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious enough for 4 people. The beds were a little on the small side, but were comfortable to sleep on. There is so much to say about the beautiful pool and yard. A spacious deck with lots of lounge chairs and tables to sit at and enjoy sun tanning, snacking or playing games. The pool ranges from 3 feet to a whopping 8 feet! It's very large and a blast to play in. Up on a deck is another seating area with a hammock and the jacuzzi. Their staff was so friendly and accommodating. They always greeted us with a smile and ensured that we had everything we needed. They have a complementary breakfast hosted in the restaurant through the lobby. This was the perfect getaway that we needed. Update: Came to stay again and it was still just as fabulous!

The pictures of this place are very deceiving, it is just an old motel with new wallpapers. The building has 3 wings, and one of them has the old motel layout where the corridor is located on the exterior, so it is impossible to keep the window blinds open and the room absolutely has no views. If you are unlucky like us, you would be assigned to one of these rooms. Originally upon arrival, they assigned us one of these motel rooms on the first floor adjacent to the parking where there is no privacy at all, and impossible for our kid to fall asleep with noise from people walking and parking. We asked for a room change, they were kind to move us, but to a room at the end of a very long corridor, not only that you have to carry all the luggages for a very long distance, but also it is a room right next to a service stair where you would hear the staffs walking, talking, and bring stuffs up and down all day long… The room itself is very outdated, dark, and small. A table is almost blocking the door that probably not to the accessibility standards. It is also not very clean. The floor of the bathroom has shedded tissues. The TV console is dusty and we have to wipe of the dust by ourselves. The bed is a double bed not queen bed and very uncomfortable. And it has a noisy window air conditioning unit. The room is not soundproofed that you can hear people walking and talking around you. Add to that, the housekeeping staffs did not reset the alarm and an alarm woke our kid up at 5am. At 6am the trash truck swing by and woke us up again. The only nice thing about this motel is its location, but I recommend to stay somewhere else instead.

We had a great time here and this was much nicer than other best westerns I’ve seen. The rooms had a cute Austin theme and the breakfast was good and lots of variety to choose from! Also the service was great :) I wish it was closer to downtown and Congress street area as I thought it would be from previous reviews, but we had to drive, that’s the only disadvantage.

Overall a good hotel to be in. Prices were fair, rooms were very clean, there were no amenities such as water bottles in the fridge. Beds were comfortable. The balconies were "off limits and may lead to eviction" which is interesting they seemed structurally stable. The breakfast was okayish. Bar was lackluster. I didn't eat at the attached restaurant.

The beds were super comfortable, and the staff was extremely nice. Great vibe and feel to the place. The breakfast was awesome! I'd say it was too many choices. If you have a family, you wouldn't have to go to iHOP. My only complaints is the design of the hotel. It was like a maze and also the toilets in the rooms. They were so low on the floor. My mother is disabled and had an issue with sitting and standing because of the height. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay!

Awesome place! I made a weekend trip last minute and didn't regret it! This place is immaculate. Everything is practically brand new. The check in was painless. They give advice too on visiting the Austin night life. I decided to have dinner and a drink at the restaurant. Great choice. It was a cozy bar. The food was really good too. The lobby has plenty of coffee and water. I'll definitely make this place my first choice for weekend trips! Kudos!

Staff was friendly. Fire alarms went off multiple times during my stay. The people in the room above us stomped on the floor all night making it very hard to sleep & you can hear people walking in rooms above as the ceiling creeks very loudly. The room themselves could be cleaned better. I had to switch rooms twice due to the first room my husband and I was assigned initially not being properly cleaned. The hotel itself has a weird smell upon entering and the hall ways on the way to the room are very dark and dim . The pool wasn’t very clean either .. let’s just say The hotel looks different from the pictures posted online . However the hotel is close to downtown Austin and one of the major highways which is convenient. This hotel gives me motel 6 vibes sorry .

I am glad I chose to stay at this location. It's close to the city and your not in city traffic. We stayed for one night. The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool looked great and it was outdoors.

The hotel was very cute and well appointed. The room faced the courtyard and was quiet. The bed, linens and pillows were comfy. Staff was helpful and not overbearing. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, fitness center and spacious parking lot. Location was just outside of downtown and was a quick trip anywhere we were headed.

The room was clean. The free breakfast was good. The pool is pretty with a fountain. But they put me outside at the end of a breezeway, up a little set of stairs. Which means the luggage cart could not be taken all the way to the room. If I have to drag my luggage to my room especially up the stairs . It's no better than a motel.

Such a pretty and comfy hotel! The room was clean and included a good amount of coffee supplies. I loved the wall paper in my room! The lobby was pretty and modern. Breakfast was included and was very tasteful. Good amount of options to choose from. Good hotel to stay with kids.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Excellent boutique experience with meticulous attention to detail. Lavish included breakfast buffet - quiet and comfortable room with plush cozy bedding. Service is top notch and swimming pool and hot tub a delicious delight of tropical fun and relaxation. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great one night stay! Desk clerk was friendly and helpful, even called our room shortly after check in to see if everything was good. Breakfast was great, and we spent some time in the lobby working before meeting with friends in the city. Only slight concern was first floor door opened on to parking lot but we didn’t have any issues and we noted the EV charger for future. Would definitely stay again.

clean rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast, great bar (and bartender, I hope he won his contest), nice pool. Very very impressed with this hotel & IT WAS AT A GREAT PRICE! Will definitely stay there the next time we're in Austin

Staff was very friendly and kind, loved engaging with them. This hotel seems like a new establishment using an old building. I like the concept, I just really didn't like the building, or quality of the products here. Room kind of smelled like mildew/mold. Around like 7pm this weird funky smell started coming in from I think the air vents? We left a day early, even though we paid for the whole trip, as we just didn't like it there. The water there is really hard so it made my skin all dry and flaky. Possible to install a better water system or shower filters? The soap and shampoo products made my knuckles crack. The lotion squeezed out like a go-gurt 😅

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! My family and I stayed there last year for 2 days, 1 night, and we decided to go again this year for 4 days, 3 nights. Both years were a wonderful experience! Other than the room feeling a bit moist due to not having a bathroom exhaust fan, everything else was great! The customer service was amazing as well! The front clerk, Greg Olgine, was amazing! He made the stay very welcoming and always greets us with a smile. Since we usually get back to the hotel late at night, he's usually the first to greet us. As for any necessities we need late at night, and the housekeeper is not there, he would assist us. I am looking forward to coming back next year!

Good location, close to everything. A full free breakfast served in their adjoining restaurant Opal Divine's. A series of breakfast burritos, breakfast biscuits, and waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and oatmeal upon request. The rooms are a little small, but still a decent size. Room cleaning is upon request and if you're staying more than just a night or two you'll have to request more towels. Our only complaint about our stay is that our upstairs neighbors were really loud. We think it mostly had to do with the integrity of the building. Whenever they walked around you could hear very loud squeaking and creaking. It almost sounded like metal springs stretching and compressing throughout the ceiling. We stayed on the 1st floor in room 137, not sure if this is something that happens throughout the building but it was a constant when the occupants in room 237 were moving around. It was bearable most of the time, knowing that it wouldn't last forever. Overall, a good stay, but would probably request a room on the top floor.

The staff member that helped check me in was cool. Unfortunately that’s where the positive part of our stay ends. I’ll save most of the details of this place, it’s a freshly painted motel with a bar. Not bad but definitely not at the hotel quality. During our night, we heard crickets making cricket noises at about 2 am. At first we assumed it was outside, but the cricket was so loud re realized it was in our room. Not the most comfortable stay to say least, so my wife and I got up and looked for this cricket for about 30 minutes in our room. We finally found it and got rid of it. The following morning we woke up with mosquito bites on all three of us, my son, my wife, and myself had several bites on us the following morning. We had to leave early, so we didn’t bother checking where the crickets and mosquitoes were getting in were. But just know you’ll be sleeping with crickets and mosquitoes if you get room 156. I expected a lot better considering what we paid for this place.

THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM. The pictures are deceiving , the reviews are deceiving. A third class low level motel, with a big time ROACH Problem. Pathetic rooms, smelly musty hallway with mold inside the washroom and room. The bed made my skin itch whole night and also old scary Lift which barely fits 2 person inside. In the hallway you will feel like you are walking in a horror movie scene. Definitely they had amazing breakfast with lots of variety, free parking , free wifi free coffee blah blah but zero standard and hygiene. It ruined our whole trip. Wont come back ever

Excellent one night stay! Really great breakfast included with lots of options. Friendly staff and nice overall aesthetic. Room was clean, had a great sleep, would recommend! Parking included, though you are not in the heart of any action.

It was a nice clean hotel. The front desk was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really good and deluxe. They have like every option you could think of- burritos, hash browns, eggs, waffles, muffins, cereal, juice. If you want to be downtown, it's not super close, as in, you can't walk. But we kind of liked being a bit removed from the busyness of downtown. It's only like a 5 minute drive so it was close enough for us because we rented a car. It was in a nice, safe neighborhood. The pictures online make it look nicer and newer than it actually is, but it was still great.
