If you're a hotel guest, they will apply high pressure to get you to sign up for one of their timeshare presentations. DON'T TALK TO THE TIMESHARE PEOPLE. Say hi, smile and keep walking past them to the elevators. They will lie and say you have to talk to them, give your ID and contact info, and get a wristband. You don't have to do any of those things. Please, ignore them and go straight to your room. They'll pretend like they're just giving tips for restaurants in the area, but it's all just a front to get you hooked into a timeshare presentation. The building is nice and the room is nice. But it's not worth the disgusting experience of being lied to and manipulated by weird sales people in the lobby. Trust me, stay somewhere else. Or if you do stay, then IGNORE the sales people. Smile, say hi, and move along. You DON'T have to talk to them to stay at the hotel, despite what the staff tells you.

Great location. Easy to walk to many areas. Stayed in a one bedroom with full kitchen. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the amenities, especially the roof top pool area. There was a Whole Foods Market nearby. If you park a car, be aware there is a $30/day charge. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The service at this hotel was amazing. From the front desk to the concierge the service was above expectation. The hotel is in walking distance to most of downtown and extremely close to the capital building. The room was excellent and had a spectacular view from the balcony. It's in a very quiet area of the city. The city of Austin is very walkable. For those that don't want to they have scooters and motorized bikes all over the place. They can be rented very cheaply. Great way to explore the city.

We have a timeshare with Wyndham and came on a mini vacation with some friends. Not only did it take us almost an hour and a half to check in since they sent us to James the time share person. When we explained that we are only here for a vacation he wouldn’t take no for an answer until we were so tired that we agreed to take the 60 min seminar, which we had just taken a month before, (and which is never 60 mins). Not only do they call everyday so that we will buy more points, but now on trips we have to continue to get harassed and bullied by the salesman. We are honestly looking into selling so that we don’t have these problems anymore then maybe we can go on a relaxing vacation. Besides for the timeshare people, the front desk employees are super friendly and the service was great!

This is one of my most favorite Wyndham properties. Firstly, the location is good. Everything is a short scooter ride or drive away. There are so many nice cafes and restaurants close by. The hotel itself is kept very clean and the decor is adorable. Our room was clean and contained all the essentials when we arrived. The rooftop pool was great and a nice place to relax. There’s also a fitness center which has free weights, treadmills etc. and cooled towels! The main thing at this hotel is the staff. They are incredibly kind and helpful. They will answer every question you have and even make recommendations for places that you should visit in the city.

The Club Wyndham is nicely located near 6th street, restaurants and many activities. The rooms are clean, fresh and fully equipped. It has its own parking ramp, pool and gym room. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean, in a decent location, has great city views. There is a pool, rooftop deck, video game area, on-site parking. It's within easy walking distance of several restaurants and bars. The immediate area seems safe. A longer walk gets you to the capital and many places in downtown Austin. The place is clean. The room was large with dishwasher, washer dryer. It was nice. Google rates it as 3 star; I'd go higher. Wyndham is a timeshare / hotel operation. If you are not a member you can stay here as an ordinary hotel guest. This location charges $30 night for parking. If you go to their 90 minute presentation (actually almost 2 hours) you can have the parking fees removed, as we did. The presentations and one-on-one sales pitch were tolerable but we had no intentions on buying. Near the end we were given hard numbers which I asked for repeatedly earlier. $1,982 annual dues on top of the $75,200 buy-in. Using the presenter's inflated nightly hotel cost ($250 / night), the maintenance fee alone would pay for 8 nights. The presentation focused on "credits" not dollars. We were given a second buy-in number of $35,000. The buy-in probably is negotiable. For our time, we were given "free" parking ($90) plus a $25 restaurant gift card. Both totaling $115. For 2 hours, / 2 people attending = $28.75 per hour.

This is a great place, so far we are having fun. The Wyndham experience is fantastic. I like it souch I bought into the timeshare, it's great deal as long as you use it. The rooms are so big and spacious. You have a full kitchen, living room, bath and bedroom.

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms are excellent quality for the price, however the staff could use some additional training. I was grilled about why my old address doesn't match the one on my bill (I moved 2 years ago) and why my area code doesn't match my address (I had an assignment abroad and relocated). I was further accosted by agents who asked about my marital status, "cohabitating" status, what my plans were in the area, if I brought a car etc. and who acted very put out when I didn't take to their upselling. I found all of this very invasive and uncomfortable not to mention absolutely none of their business. I would recommend the hotel, but be prepared to make a quick exit from reception.

We had a great experience at this hotel! The pool and rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel was also within walking distance to downtown and 20 mins from the airport. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially Keara. She was so kind and accommodating, and we really appreciated her service.

Before staying I read many reviews most good and some bad. I always am weary cause of the bad reviews and knowing that this hotel is a timeshare hotel. I was worried I would be hassled with people trying to sell me a timeshare based on reviews. However I decided to go for it and I do not regret it one bit check in was easy the staff was very friendly and not one person hassled me. The room was more than I expected I felt as if I was living in my own apartment but way nicer and we had a balcony which was the best part. I would highly recommend staying here

Overall a great experience to our stay. We got in with a great deal. The rooms on 10th floor are fantastic. Clean modern look in the rooms. The 10th floor has a good lounge and game area. Staff was very friendly. Some of the downstairs games mess up but overall kids still enjoyed. Loved the shuffleboard. Location was great for traveling around Austin and grabbing food. Perfect spot if you are food hopping.

Just when I felt it’s the best hotel ever I’ve been to in the United States and wanted to recommend this to all my friends, the. It has the Wi-Fi issue. It shouldn’t be big issue, but when the front desk gave the phone number for me to call the Wi-Fi service company solve the problem by myself, I felt weird, it’s not like I rent the apartment and I am responsible for my own Wi-Fi connection. Be aware of the Wi-Fi issue and you need to be ok to handle this tech support by yourself as a costumer.

I didn't realise this was a timeshare place (I had never even heard of this) until after I booked it. I read the reviews about aggressive sales people, and got myself worked up about checking in here. The last thing we needed after a 15 hour flight was sales people at check in. I then understood that you just firmly say no and keep walking. This was my plan! The check in staff were lovely! They then told us to go to our 'personal concierge' I told my partner to just keep walking to the elevators and say no thanks, as this was the timeshare people. This very friendly lady then started following us, as I kept saying no thanks. Another woman who sounded a bit angry said 'You NEED to come to this desk mam'. We ended up at the timeshare desk, and luckily the friendly woman got the vibes I was not interested and did not push her sales pitch. We got room card bracelets that you definitely don't need and a map. I did feel bad for her, as she was just doing her job and I'm guessing it was her boss who made us go to the desk. Apart from that, it was a beautiful apartment, well stocked, comfortable, quiet and lovely views.

My first time to this location in the Wyndham portfolio; over all, I'm extremely impressed! First the location: it's in/near downtown Austin. It Is in 5-12 minutes walking distance to breakfast cafés, restaurants, and intriguing neighborhoods original to older Austin. Walking is delightful! Amenities: are what Wyndham vacation owners have come to expect. Beautiful rooms, well equipped kitchens, and relaxing living spaces.

Absolutely everything you would need inside of a room. This one is not only more reasonable priced than most downtown locations but is a also extremely well furnished. It has a full sized fridge and and stove to cook if you're interested in the kitchen. But best of all, if you're staying for awhile there are full sized washers and dryers in the rooms! Staff is very nice and this location is only 2 blocks from 6th street. What else could you need?

Decent location with easy walking to Sixth Street entertainment, the Capitol, and the river. Hotel is a timeshare (and we are Wyndham owners), but I was disappointed in how aggressive one of the concierges was to have us book a presentation. The others were pretty decent when we said we weren’t interested. The other hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice (sorry, I didn’t take any room photo). Carpet only in bedroom, though living room had a round rug. Cute decor in public spaces. Pool was being repaired so not usable during our stay. Kitchen in our one-bedroom unit had plenty of tools, most of which we didn’t use during our 4-night stay.

The room was amazing! Beautiful views. Great location. Didn't like paying an additional $60 to park for two days, but I did because it was easier than parking on the street.

In town but still quiet! This was a lovely place to stay. Got off to a slightly rocky start but Margaret was great at mitigating the issue and we had a great stay! The rooms were very comfortable and the pool was sooo wonderful in the Austin heat.

We were here for ACL weekend and upon our check in they directed us to the Wyndham reward sales rep. We are Reward members and we understand that giving up some of our time to hear about new updates. They offered free parking for the weekend and 18k points. The sales rep said an hour of your time and you get the points. Sunday comes we arrive at 11:15 they explain some new things and then try to sell us on a new deal. We declined signed the paper. The sales rep comes back again I’m assuming his supervisor. He was condescending tried to explain the sales pitch again after we decline and already been there for 2 hours. At this point I said I was done and ready to leave and he kept going saying he would rescind the offer of free parking and the 18k. We were so upset of how he talked to us that my husband did call him a sick and left. We regret ever having this program and wish they would stop ruining our vacation with conning people into their sales pitch. I’m giving it a 2 because of the experience with Wyndham. The room was great and it’s honestly just to lay my head. They need another elevator and parking should come with the hotel.

Loved the property! Room was spotless and comfortable. Great location, but be aware it's downtown so lots of outside noise. Staff was mostly professional and nice (had one guy who was quite short with me). But, otherwise, it was great!

Perfectly and conveniently located near downtown Austin, Texas. Just far enough to be away from the noise. Knowledgeable staff who are absolutely friendly and courteous in all concierge and service related tasks. Comfortable bed, awesome room (laundry included!). Would recommend. Would use again. Parking super convenient.

The staff is excellent. The rooms and common areas are clean and well taken care of. There is a 24hr fitness center and game area. The pool is on a roof top and there is a grill area and a fire table area. So plenty of room to relax and chill both during the day and night. It's only a few blocks away from 6th street and within walking distance of many amazing restaurant and the State Capitol. I would highly recommend staying here when in Austin.
