Wanted to leave a positive review specifically for Troy. He checked me in and was very quick and polite during it. What really prompted me to leave a review was that he remembered my name when I simply asked for extra coffee, two days after checking me in. It’s a level of customer service and professionalism not commonly seen these days. As far as the hotel itself, the room is clean, the water’s hot, and the kitchen appliances work. Can’t ask for much more.

13501 Lynhurst St., Austin, TX TownePlace suites hotel has bugs in the room very upset with the service and location as well as the rooms at this facility. Pretty freaking nasty to have bugs in the bed and on the nightstands. I will never return to that place and I would never recommend this place to anyone else room 122 bugs. my first red flag of the facility should’ve been when the service clerk says they lock the doors at 9 o’clock due to security reasons in the area.

The hotel did not have the air conditioner on in the elevators or in the hallways. It's Texas, the temperature is always in the 90"s through the tripple digits. The breakfast is not the best with very few options. The hotel representative is not friendly. She was a young lady who works the morning shift. She never said hello or have a good day. I relocated to another hotel near the Hill County. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The hotel has a nice outdoor area and it is quite. There is a pool and a work out facility. Also if you like to Bar-B-Q there is a nice area for that. Everyone has been very accommodating when asked for something. The only thing I can say that could be a little better is the comfort of the beds. But, I have to say I never find any hotel beds super comfortable.

Bait and switch! The hotel claims to be pet friendly, but when you check in, they charge you a non-refundable $100 pet fee. If you ask most people that’s not very pet friendly at all! I did not want to pay the surprise fee, but could not cancel without losing entire two nights paid for. I was then checked into a room that smelled bad. Had to go back down to reception to get another room and then was checked into a room across the hall from a room where somebody was smoking. So apparently, even though the hotel says it’s non/ smoking it allows smoking. I guess it should advertise as smoker friendly and not pet friendly. Also, the hotel is right off of a very busy highway and you can hear the traffic from inside the room. The rooms themselves uninspiring and mine in particular (which happened to be noisy all night due to employees banging around in the reception area that my room shared a wall with) smelled like pet urine. The receptionist refused to let mecspeak to a manager about my issues with the stay so in the end I paid $355 for a 2 night sleepless stay at a noisy, stinky hotel. Very poor experience.

Hotel in general was not clean. Asked for a room with a tub, which is apparently only their accessible rooms then was put into one that the shower head and handheld neither worked. Told the desk attendant next day and the only response was "OK". If I truly needed an accessible room this would have resulted in a complaint to ADA!

I'm staying at this hotel right now. We are here for a week in Austin, dealing with a really tough family situation. The one request I had when we checked in was to have our room serviced every day. There is just something about coming back to a refreshed room that makes me feel better. Only once in the almost week we have been here has it happened. Every day I ask the front desk "can you please ensure our room is serviced". Every day the front desk tells me that they only service rooms every two days. Every day I tell them it's my understanding that we can request that it be more often. Every day they tell me that is correct and that the request is in the system and it will be serviced daily. And every day with the exception of one day, has it actually happened. Today, I came back from a 12-hour day of being outside in 109 degree heat helping my parents move and found out, once again, our room has not been serviced. Very, very disappointing. Additionally, the fan in the bathroom is broken. We reported it the first day we were here and it's also still not fixed. Management - this is unacceptable. First, this isn't a "rent by the week" kind of hotel. Why are you only providing housekeeping every two days? It feels like hotels started doing that during COVID as a way to cut down on germs, but guys, this is a nice hotel with the price tag that confirms it. Please re-think your policy or offer your guest an incentive to opt out. Or, rent by the week so the guest is experiencing the same savings you are by not providing daily housekeeping. Also, the wifi here is abysmal. If you are trying to work or do anything online, I hope you have a usable hot spot. The pool is also very small (think like backyard residential pool). It gets very, very crowded on the weekends. Pros - hotel is new and well appointed. It's quiet and clean. The mattress, bedding and towels are nice as are the sleeper sofas. The fitness room is good and the breakfast is convenient. It's also a good location for NW Austin locations. The staff has been polite, however the communication issues have overshadowed that. Overall I would not stay in this hotel again or recommend it due to the obvious communication issues between the staff, the lack of daily housekeeping and terrible Wifi.

We were there two weeks back and just have to wait about three incredibly helpful staff especially Troy and Kenisha. We reached when power was out and had the elevators /key fobs and other facilities weren’t working. Troy checked us in and took us to our room. Clean room, comfy bed 👍 Next day while check out, same problem. I had to wait in the lobby for an hour and got a chance to see them work so hard and efficiently. They handled it so well. Kenisha even helped us with our luggage, just a wonderful experience to share overall.

The staff here were amazing. Troy was super courteous and always went out of his way to help. Katie and Jay were the other two I'd like to mention for their understanding and great service! I ended up getting a lot of deliveries and they were so super nice about it and very accommodating - I really appreciate that! The room was not all that - quite small for a towneplace in all honesty. The only reason I booked this extended stay hotel was as I was hoping for larger rooms, so that was a mistake. A lot was cramped into it. Corner rooms being larger is just a gimmick - they are all the same as viewed a few more when at the property. Either way, the surroundings were lovely, especially the patio area with the fireplace where we spent a lot of late evenings. Pool was tiny, the gym was adequate and breakfast was acceptable - nothing to shout about! Good location close to the Lakeside mall and quick access to the freeway.

Enjoyed this place so much! The layout of our suite was fantastic! The full kitchen was just what we needed and the full table was perfect for eating dinners in our room and packing lunches while out. Couldn’t have asked for a better room! Everything was a great size. Big closet in the bathroom for clothes and dressers in the room. We loved it!

Very nice room service but didn't get to see much as we were here for work on a CLC reservation.

Great room with fully stocked kitchen, closet with shelves, comfy desk chair, integrated bed tray, etc. Room was clean as well. Fitness room is very spacious with a cable machine along with the typical weights and cardio stuff. Also a water bottle filling device. There are a couple of full-size Webers in the back. Hot breakfast had two types of meats and two types of egg dishes, many breads, and all the continental stuff. There was also a compost bin for food stuffs. Every staff I met were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Maybe when Spare Birdie opens.

I’ve been staying here since right after the hotel opened. The rooms have always been great and the staff has always been accommodating in every way they could. Thanks for everything throughout the years.

The hotel was everything we need for our time in Austin, the staff was very kind, they even gave us a Halloween welcome gift! The hotel was very clean and fit our needs as expected. Thanks for being so kind and warm even on a short stay.

The room was nice & clean and to start. The full kitchen was nice. But the maid doesn't refill the dishwasher soap. They didn't bother to see if the dishwasher was full. She spoke no English but when i pointed to sink full dirty dishes she put them in the dishwasher & turned it on. They only changed the trash . My biggest problem was the lack of tv channels if you come for work you have time or energy to sight see you want to relax & watch TV . But there was almost nothing to watch. No Christan channels or Spanish channels for my coworker. Only 4 apps one was music one was a TV channel so that Netflix which you need a subscription for & YouTube. So I mostly watch the weather channel or YouTube or i used my iPad to watch other stuff. It was really disappointing. The only thing I wanted to do & It sucked. I tried hooking my Roku up from home but the apps refused to load because the internet blocked them . My company pays for my room so at least it wasn't my money.

Cleanest roach hotel I’ve ever stayed in. First night Was heating up my leftover lunch in the microwave. Left the to go sauce on the counter. Went to use the bathroom came back and there were at least five roach looking things in my sauce. Reported to the front desk female at 10:00 am when checking out and she straight ignored me. I told her three times

Not stay here but walk across the hotel, their landscape great, except on northeast corner. Seems the landscaper just decided not to do this corner, when I first moved here, it was tended to, then it seems one person decided not to mow and others followed, an eye sore to a beautiful place

Bad front desk staff training. For the past 3 years I have stayed next door in the Hilton Garden Inn using a Company card. The company card is under my bosses name, never been an issue before. Today I was told I could not use it at all without named person here which I know is 100% not true. Went next door, and lo and behold, NOT TRUE, all they have to do is verify. Alas, as they wanted to argue here at TownePlace saying it would be the same, I of course argued back. Nicholas Rosenberg is the manager of BOTH competing properties and said because I was upset at the INCORRECT information provided, that he would not rent to me at all. 3 years down the drain because of poor training and bad management.

The first room we checked into, the light bulbs were out but we were switched to another room. Troy, the front desk employee was very helpful and kind. Location is great and breakfast was good.

Very clean well-run hotel. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked. The Kingsize is a Nice size room for two people but if you have more than that get the two double queen rooms. The sofa bed is impossible to get around when it's pulled out. The beds are very comfortable, there is no bathtub so if you're traveling with small children that could be an issue. The couch is cute. There is plenty of table space. Lots of parking. Decent breakfast with a well-stocked store. The pool and gym are nice and offer free air buds and water. It can get loud in the morning and during the day there were kids slamming doors and running down the halls which you could really hear in the room. Overall, it was a great stay. This is my second time here and will be back when I come this way.
