This is oldest, most poorly maintained Residence Inn we’ve ever stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few. First room we were given smelled strongly of mold and carpets were damp. They changed us right away, but second, 2-bedroom suite they gave us had two sketchy bathrooms (one badly stained tub, In other the whole run insert was coming out of the wall, the toilet ran constantly and filled with warm water (?) and needed lid lifted/handle jiggled repeatedly to fill properly. Outlets didn’t work in one bedroom, and we found bugs (crickets etc) in our 4th floor room. Breakfast buffet was also smallest we’ve seen at a Residence Inn. Won’t book this location again.

Very nice and clean hotel. Surprisingly clean parking lot with many spaces. Dog friendly. My friend has a Great Dane and was accepted as a guest with no issues. She was given a magnet for her door indicating there was a “4 legged guest inside.” Spacious open “L” shaped floor plan room with king bed and “TV” on top of small dresser facing one way with large counter with sink and mirror and closet behind then standing shower and toilet beyond this off the side of the bed. (Door to toilet and shower room). Living area has long couch when you enter with love seat, sizable desk with lamps and closet. Kitchen to your immediate right with full size, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, dishes, pots & pans and stove top. Vinyl flooring and small table with chairs in open kitchen area. Very clean. Cushiness in the carpets and very clean feeling. Maintenance seems to keep up on everything. Very nice renaissance location overall. I would definitely stay there despite the location not being the best in Austin.

Just stopped in to take a look at this property. It’s very pretty I love the pool area in the lobby area is unique for residence Inn. The lady behind the counter was awesome extremely friendly thanks for the conversation.

I was totally disappointed. Couldn’t believe this was a Marriott brand! The room smelled as soon as I walked in! There was the oldest TV there so we couldnt watch our Netflix! There was a broken light in the mirror of the bathroom. I was so dissatisfied with this hotel. The room was large which was a plus even though I didnt need that much room. It was the stench and the TV that made it not so nice to be in. Totally older hotel and not worth the price!

Stayed here for one night and had an overall positive experience. The one negative that I feel is worth mentioning is that there was a large cockroach in our room late in the night. Thankfully, the hotel staff member was responsive and came to help spray and try to find the roach. I'm mainly leaving this review since one of the factors in staying here was based on the lack of recent roach reviews. Given that a) it is Texas in the summer, b) we were on a first floor room, and c) it was a large roach (not the small indoor infesting kind), I was not concerned that there was a systemic cleanliness issue as it could have just come in from outside somehow. Otherwise, did not see any other bugs inside the hotel. Staff was friendly, responsive, and professional. The breakfast was generous and even had oat milk. Checkin & checkout was easy, and the location is very convenient for visiting Austin

I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very nice. There is quite a bit of road noise due to the proximity to the highway and the room windows do not block the noise very well. I mitigated it by sleeping in the living room. The breakfast was basic but the fruit was fresh and there was a good variety.

Made a reservation paid upfront with a valid business debit card. But since my deposit wouldn’t be on a “chase, Wells Fargo, bofa” debit card, she refused to honor the reservation. She wouldn’t even attempt to swipe or run my 2 debit cards (the system would have accepted them. These are not prepaid cards.) I Understand a policy of not accepting prepaid cards, but not even attempting to run my legit debit cards based off of her wrong assumption, and being confrontational and intently not helpful It’s just bad customer service. Period.

Older hotel, breakfast is horrible but the staff members are friendly. The location is great, really close to the domain. Breakfast consisted of packaged food like chorizo burrito or English muffin sandwiches despite pictures of eggs, bacon and sausage. No oatmeal, options were extremely limited compared to other residence inns.

Rooms are small. Bed is somewhat comfortable, but queen seems to be relativly small. It would be really cramped if I had to stay longer term. Breakfast doesn't have large variety. So overall, it's OK.

I must say, I am a lifelong Marriott fanatic; however, this is most definitely one of the more beat-up and rusty Residence Inn's that I have ever stayed in. Marriott is not doing its brand justice with this property as it's in special need of a remodel. After staying in the Residence Inn at the Domain Area, I would most definitely recommend that property over this one 10/10 times. This property does not provide any special location or luxury advantages. I would mark this property down as a budget stay that is not so budget-friendly. Although its staff is professional, it seems to be quite understaffed, and unable to provide sufficient service adequately for the standards of a Marriott property. For Long-term stays, housekeeping is only provided once a week, so just be aware of that if you are looking into this property for such reasons. If at all possible, I would stay away from this property and look to another, such as the one that was aforementioned.

Definitely will stay again! The room was socialist and clean when we arrived. The lobby smelled so good too. Staff was friendly and on top of any requests we had when we needed supplies in the room.

This was a nice hotel clean. Staff wasn't the most helpful when addressing things like additional remotes for the TV's or different type of pillows. Location worked for me on where I needed to go.

The room was dirty, bed was super uncomfortable and so were the pillows. The front desk was very unprofessional I didn’t receive room service any of the 4 nights I stayed even though I request it. I went to he front desk and asked them to please provide more towels and clean límenes but they still didn’t do it. TERRIBLE service.

Initially I wasn't happy with the ADA room I had. Emily at the front desk moved me to a new room, which was much better. Lots of places to eat in the area. Room was a decent size with an ergonomic desk. Cleaning ladies cleaned my room every day I was there. Wish the beds weren't so high. Breakfast was decent. Great value.

Staff is friendly and professional. It was clean and quiet at night. Breakfast actually had things I can eat as a diabetic. Great place to stay!!!

Hotel is the oldest I think I have ever stayed in. Not renovated, and though the room, itself, was clean, the bathroom was GROSS. Bugs in the light, chipping / moldy trim around the shower, drawers that "stuck" together and had to be yanked open. I mean, really? A Marriott property needs to have more pride than this. Never going back.

Elevator looked like it was about to collapse.. The large guy who checked me in did not look or act very friendly. The room itself was decent.. no serious problems. I came here because of the cheap price which was $94/night. The eggs in the breakfast were disgusting, taste like yellow tofu.. the sausage was decent though.

Affordable and clean hotel. Great location! The cleaning crew were very nice. Emily, the lady at the front desk went above and beyond after an issue with my booking. She was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Imagine entering a 90’s movie set, like in a TV series. That was my first impression entering my room at the Residence Inn. Everything looks kinda 30yo. It’s ok it’s clean - pillows are way too hard btw - and the aircon is deadly cold. Had to turn it back to a decent 75° to survive in that fridge. Staff is friendly, maybe a bit superficially friendly, and their antique IT system didn’t allow them to get me a bill for 2x 3$ water bottles…they tried it every possible way but in the end I got these offered. 3$ for a water bottle…these are airport prices btw… Breakfeast got me a bit by surprise. You eat on cardboard plates and drink from styrofoam cups while using plastic knives and forks. This is so absurd and such a waste of resources, it’s stunning. And of course absolutely disgusting in terms of user experience. But this seems to be an American thing as I encountered it in entry level motels like Super 8 who also had the same practice. This wouldn’t be allowed in Europe. I ended up buying a real mug at Walmart to get at least a decent container for my tea. The unnecessary waste this practice generates is unimaginable. Not the slightest chance to get an ecolabel with such a practice. Am still waiting for a mistake done on my final bill to get sorted out. This too is annoying and next time I’ll stay at the domain. Chose this place because it was close to the office but it revealed as rather noisy and the swimming pool was not accessible during 5 of my 7 days of stay.

Great place you stay. Guest services was wonderful. Rooms were good. They are pet friendly. Especially to the cat that was abandoned by its owners. She is a friendly cat and just wants a home. Thank you guest services for looking after the cat!
