I used this hotel because it was a corporate preferred hotel. However, 2 of the last 3 trips have been awful and I will now actively avoid this location. Twice, I have paid for a specific room, but was given a lesser quality room. I paid for a king and was given a queen and the hotel would not honor my request because they gave my room to someone else and were now full. You think they refunded any money? Nope. This last occasion, my room was given to someone else and I was given a room with someone else's hair in the bed sheets and a room that smelled absolutely terrible of cigarette smoke. This hotel is not at all walkable and the service and management is mediocre at best. If you're traveling for business, look elsewhere.

Horrible experience. This was another reward stay. I guess I did a great job of saving up all my rewards points and waisting them on horrible hotels. The breakfast attendant at breakfast told me to save some eggs for other people because I had two egg tacos in my plate, on for me and one for my wife. Then, when my wife returned the plates to the kitchen area, the same attendant asked her very rudely if we are even staying at this hotel. I spent 40,000 rewards points for our room. My wife was so upset how this associate spoke with her that she was in tears. I went to the breakfast area and told the woman while standing at the door to the kitchen, that I didn't appreciate her speaking to my wife like she did. This woman came out of the kitchen area, got in my face and was cussing at me something bad. Then, when I reported her actions to the hotel management, she lied and says she felt threatened. If anyone one felt threatened it was me. She already looked like she could beat me up, plus she's twice my size. And I have yet to hear back from Hilton regarding this other than the fact that she is claiming to have been threatened and how they are educating their associates on how to handle situation when they feel threatened. It used to be, in the hotel industry, hotels cared about taking care of their guests, but I can see now that's not the case. If an employee's actions could be as egregious as this woman's was, and yet the hotel intends to stand behind her, then guest relations under the Hilton umbrella have by far seen better days.

My family was here a total of 6 nights and not one was our room cleaned. I even requested to have it cleaned and it wasn't. Two different staff had an opportunity to do something about this and didn't. I had to send my son down to get fresh towels, but nobody ever came to get the soiled towels out of our room or restroom trash. No fresh sheets, I'm very disappointed as I really love Hilton. The hotel wasn't even full. So there's no excuse for it.

No issues with staff. Problem lies solely in the dated/run down room. I keep saying I'm done with Hilton then book with them cross country. Between the Hampton in El Paso and my stay here I'm not sure which room smelled worse. Extremely musty/mildewed smell. The area above our shower has some clear/severe water damage. Rooms are extremely dated. We stopped at atx olive at the Marriot next door and was blown away by the night and day difference between the two. The perks of having a small kitchen are really weighed down by the cons of the rest of the property. Hilton has really degraded since covid. Finally, there are no longer any serious perks for being a diamond member.

The stay was good even though the bed moved out from under me and I fell to the floor. Just kidding. My alarm went off and I was too close to the edge of the bed and fell out. The breakfast was decent.

I’m not sure what the negative reviews were for. We got in hours early for check-in because we came into town earlier and the staff was more than courteous to take us in! We just stayed for a night but it would have been suitable for a weekend if possible. Definitely would stay again!

Of all hotels I have visited/stayed, this one was spacious and is very close to I-35 (minutes away from Austin Downtown or from Dallas-San Antonio I-35) I had a kitchen attached for a quick meal. Clean restrooms and rooms were cleaned everyday upon request as well. Cars can be parked next to room entrance. #HappyStay

It was a great choice for a short trip for business. I wish the housekeeping could've come every day, which is why I couldn't give it a five.... but it was overall the hotel was amazing. The front desk was nice, and it was quiet location not far from places and stores. I would book there again!

The room was large but dated and the whole place was dated with worn carpet throughout. When I arrived the whole main entrance was taped off like a crime scene with no signs telling how to get into the lobby. There didn't seem to be anything within walking distance. Way over priced for the quality. I expected better for $200 on a Thursday.

I always enjoy these hotels. As a road warrior traveler for work, I enjoy having some of the comforts of home like the kitchenette and a separate bedroom. I also enjoy being able to cook something on the grill and just hang outside. As I will be working in Austin for awhile, I will be staying here as much as possible.

The staff is very nice and easy check in prices. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is great because it is more in business district so quiet. They have a pool and free breakfast and parking. Will definitely be back, highly recommend

Well, this is a bummer! We have been Hilton Honors and Diamond members for a long time and were really disappointed in our stay here. A few of the staff really tried to be kind and helpful, and the others were abrupt and seemed to not be invested in this job or the customers at all. When we arrived after 4pm, we were greeted with hurried "you'll have to just wait for your rooms to be cleaned". When they finally checked our names and saw that we were Diamond, they found our room quickly. I would hope that all guests get treated that way. We stayed 5 nights and asked for a couple more bottles of water on the third day. No, we have to charge you was the answer we got. They wouldn't spend that .50 cents to satisfy a simple need of a diamond member staying 5 nights...not up to Hilton standards. Potatoes were sitting on a tray in the door of the kitchen for 10 minutes while customers were watching some of the kitchen staff in the backroom on their phones. The older lady who works breakfast was by far the best employee that I ran into though...friendly, hard worker and efficient! Needless to say, we won't pick this Hilton to stay next time we are in Austin.

Great hotel and room. Staff fantastic as well, super friendly and helpful. Great location to the airport and not too far from the Center of town. Breakfast in the morning is standard, everything would expect from a hotel breakfast, but it was decent enough. Waffles made in the shape of Texas as well was a nice touch. No food for lunch or evening meals, not a bad thing as there is so many places to eat nearby I wouldn't have been staying in the hotel anyway, just for advice I'm adding it in that it isn't offered. Didn't get to the pool, cold weather and rain, fitness center isn't too bad, has the basics needed to keep the blood pumping. Room has its own separate living room/kitchen so you can cook and relax yourself, complete with fridge freezer/dishwasher and waste disposal. Stayed 13 nights in total and would recommend staying here.

To be perfectly honest 2 stars would be more reasonable for my experience however since I’m a long Diamond member the disappointment was just too much. This place is a dump when compared to any other Hilton property I’ve stayed at across the US. Outdated rooms broken equipment, fitness center is laughable. I’m literally going to cancel my other reservations here and book at Hampton next store. I’d expect this at a Hampton and the price point would be more reasonable. Can’t believe I’m upgrading from Homewood to Hampton. I’ll leave an update on how it goes next week.

Carpet definitely needs replacing. What separates Homewood Suites from other hotels is the evening dinner. Since this is only currently available on Wednesday, the attractiveness of this brand has waned. This could be a show stopper since there are not many nearby eateries. Recommend calling before arriving to determine what amenities are available.

Rooms were nice, but breakfast was horrible. We went down at 815 and there was no plates, no coffee, and most of the bowls that were set out had old food caked on them. There was some food set out, but we could get it due to lack of plates. We ended up having to go out for breakfast. Also, there was no staff there to try and get things sorted.

The rooms are rundown and the staff are rude. I asked a question to frond desk and the person had their AirPods on and was listening to something else. Terrible customer service. To add insult to injury, there was no water from 12PM-2PM because on renovations. Why didn't you mention this while we made the booking? It's so inconvenient for us because I have an event to go & now there will be no water. The only good experience was the chef for making the breakfast. The lady is kind person. I will not be booking future stays at this hotel.

I just had the pleasure of doing business with Elizabeth Jackson. She is very professional and I can see she really cares about the needs of her customers and the guests that stay here. She stays on top of the life safety needs of her hotel and makes sure all of her life safety inspections are up to date. I look forward to doing business with her and continuing to take care of her establishments.

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. They have breakfast in the mornings and coffee throughout the day. I like the way the rooms are situated and you can open the door with your phone. The hotel has on site laundry fitness center in the pool is great. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Austin.

First here. Clean enabling staff, breakfast they provide needs upgrading, and the complimentary coffee they offer throughout the day gets cold in short order. One big disappointment there is no housekeeping unless you stay five days or more, so we are staying three days and obviously there’s foot traffic into and out of the room, plus use of the bathtub and toilet, so that’s my big issue. No matter the issue with the hotel, in todays time we cannot be to clean. Just thought everyone should know the facts. Rates are good, But! Plus they’re in the middle of an industrial area, so no stores or food places to go and have breakfast and other meals. So the following morning appealed my case to the front desk and when I came back from visiting Austin Cameron I spoke with earlier had cleaned our room. Huge shout out to Cameron doing this on his time as there where in sufficient staff to clean my room. Now that’s going the extra mile🙌🙌🙌 A small follow up as we’re leaving our room two if the front desk staff come up to our room to make we’re leaving the room and hotel after we politely asked for a brief stay over. Have never experienced that in 50 years?
