If this is your first time visiting this location - its SUPER hard to find! Especially if you didn't book your reservation direct. There isn't a dedicated front desk - its all virtual. You MUST have your text codes in order to ride the elevator AND there's a certain set of elevators you must use! NOT EASY TO find in the dark. Their customer svc # rings and rings - no answer; but keep trying! Eventually someone will answer. The rental is an apartment - there are tenants that actually live in the surrounding units as well. It seems like tenants have a key to their apartment, while the rentals are defined by the keypads on the doors. It's easy to spot who are traveling. On the much positive side of things. The units do offer full size washer and dryers + a full living space and kitchen! Super clean. My colleagues unit didn't come with a parking card so be sure you have that on the counter upon arrival. Location is great, but not well lit at night. Price per night is fair, but if you have a change in reservation - they don't allow cancellations and are difficult to work with if you change your dates.

The apartment was beautiful, the bathroom was very nice, having a balcony and full kitchen was great and being able to use a washer and dryer was really helpful. The sheets were also very nice. The only negative would be the parking. I realize it is a city but the parking garage was very crowded, we had to drive around looking for spots. The location was very good too.

Location is amazing - right across the street from Austin City Limits. Has everything you need from detergent to tampons in the room. Great balcony to chill on after a show and watch the rest of the crowd disperse. Just 2 complaints - floors were so dirty I had to wipe my feet AFTER taking a shower, and the wallpaper headboard - while it looks cool and modern- was covered in hand and head prints from other people's "sessions" in the bed. I'm well aware of the multiple uses an overnight room can be used for but having physical reminders a few inches from your head while you try to fall asleep can be a little concerning.

Clean environment, I enjoyed the space. It was better than hotel relaxing. It was having a sizeable one-bedroom apartment to myself! The experience was simple and interactions with staff were friendly and helpful. I like to be left alone when I travel making this setup ideal. I'm a believer and a convert. I'll undoubtedly be looking for a Guild at my next travel stop.

Great location, very spacious. We stayed at The Guild for a charity Gala and I think we found our new downtown place to stay. The location has a lot of great restaurants nearby and a short walk to bars without all the noise. The view was nice, large living room, bathroom and even has a working record player. The decor is modern and has local touches. I'd recommend this place to anyone that needs to stay downtown and is tired of the boring hotel rooms.

Amazing location, walking distance to just about everything. The community was quiet and extremely comfortable surroundings... the loft was right out of magazine , the decor, huge space with a nice size balcony. It felt like home.. we will. Definitely be back. The office crew were very patient and grwat at what they do.. the housekeeping ladies were so sweet. Thank You for a AWESOME stay!!!!

Incredible value! This hotel is located in downtown Austin a few blocks down from 6th Street. There are a variety of restaurants, groceries, and a pharmacy within a two-block radius. Nice amenities and chic design make you feel like you found something special. I would definitely stay here again, and if traveling with a group, or family, absolutely consider this place.

Super rad spot in the middle of everything. Unit was very well appointed with a sleeper sofa in the living room and a full kitchen. Bed was super comfortable. Washer and dryer in unit make packing light a breeze. Amazing balcony with views over 2nd street.

Confusing on entering the building for the 1st time. Once we figured out the procedures it was fine. Amenities in the kitchen were very sparse. No microwave oven ...sad. Spacious Room. Very clean. Television very confusing to operate. Television in bedroom very poor reception. Location to downtown very nice enjoyed our stay in Austin.

My first time using AirBnB and found the Guild on Lavaca. Wonderful experience with no issues. Great location and the accommodations were beyond our expectations. Spacious one bedroom and one bathroom with full kitchen, great room and private balcony overlooking the pool. Any questions we had we're only a phone call away. I recommend the Guild Lavaca Street for anyone interested in being downtown Austin.
