For a one night stop over this hotel offers value for money - anything longer and you may struggle to find the positives in this place. We stayed for a month after moving to Austin and sadly the room was cleaned just 3 times in 4 weeks. With a family of four including children this was awful. We asked on a number of occasions for the room to be cleaned and reception staff were always agreeable but it often either didn’t happen or when it was cleaned, full bedding was not changed or not replaced. I think in peak season the cleaning staff may be overwhelmed. Again on the breakfast - for one night it would be ok, but with very limited to no healthy choices (all yogurt and cereal is sugary) my family really struggled. By the end of the week the options are very slim and we had to buy our own cereal outside of the hotel to have a few days a week. Staff were polite and the pool was reasonably clean. However many communal areas such as the stairways and laundry room were astonishingly extremely dirty. The laundry room is free which is an added bonus, but it was regularly left in a state with dog hair and lint from the machines all over the place. The stairways need a regular deep clean and carpet shampoo as they are all stained and with only one lift, they are in regular use.

1st room bed had been slept in and wasn’t made. Moved me to another room, carpet was soaked from leaking air conditioner, third room bed sheets had indescribable stains. The complimentary “meal” at dinner consisted of a vat of broccoli & cheese, steamed waffle fries, ranch dressing with a bowl of bacon bits. Nothing about this selection says “dinner”. The soda machine was broken. The one good star was for the lady at the front desk that tried her best to accommodate for the hotel’s lacking. I took photos of it all and will post it elsewhere. The stained bedsheets was the last straw.

Room was very nice, area stores and restaurants close at about 11pm. If you want daily room cleaning you have to ask 24 hrs in advance or they don't clean your room daily. We stayed 4 days and never had anyone take the trash or bring clean towels. Ladies were very nice and breakfast was limited but free.

The hotel was convenient for our purpose but is in need of general maintenance. Carpet in hallways were dirty, bathroom in room needed upgrades. Overall, slightly lower quality than I have experienced from other Staybridge hotels.

Booked 2 nights on Dec 31,2021. Room wasn’t clean. Mystery stains on walls and curtains. The door was held together by a plumbing fastener. There was a hole in the bed sheets. Only got a refund for 1 night when we weren’t given another room and decided to stay elsewhere. Surprised this place has good reviews. Would not recommend. If you do, avoid room 106!

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The carpets in the halls are DISGUSTING, the cleaning ladies left USE gloves under the sofa cushions. DIRTY towels folded up for you to use in the bathroom and the shower was grotesque. Oh and if your toilet isn't working properly, hope you know how to fix it yourself. They will not attempt to fix nor switch your rooms. Just tell you they can refund you and you can leave. Lucky it wasn't a huge fix (I didn't know that my husband figured it out) but it shouldn't have happened.

We would like to give a shout out to Arlene.. We were traveling from TN to Round Rock and had no room booked for 1 night of our stay. After calling every hotel south of Dallas Arlene was so sweet and understanding and arranged a room after a cancelation. When we arrived she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We really appreciate her helping us out. ❤️

Easy to access from 35 and you’re close to everything needed! Ms Debbie checked us in and she was fast and efficient! Gave my big group of girls specific instructions to be respectful to other guests and they followed the rules all night! My room was clean, stocked, and spacious!! Even though we were close to 35, it stayed quiet all night! Highly recommend this place for your stay for even just a night!

Overall it didn't even meet my lowest expectations. The big problem was the mold in the shower. The standards of cleaning aren't being met for client safety if mold is growing in the bathroom. Only one TV remote even though there were 2 TV's. And the pull out couch bed was atrocious. So used and lacking support it was impossible for our 3rd guest to get any sleep. This was their suite. If that's how the big rooms are Id hate to consider what the other rooms are like. Overall underwhelming. The only positive is the regular beds seemed clean and at least comfortable enough to sleep. Oh and no hand soap/bar soap for some reason. They had dish soap for the little dishwasher but no soap by the sink for washing your hands? I don't leave a lot of reviews especially if this can easily be brought directly to the managers and owners. But the mold in the show shows a lack of care that I don't think just bringing the issues up in private would solve. To the management and owner - I sincerely hope you reevaluate the level of care you take in your accomodations. Your guests are what bring you money, our safety and comfort is what makes someone want to stay again. You failed in this. I hope you fix things. I hope no one gets sick.

Nice hotel, staff is on point. I always request a ground floor, but hotels always put me on the highest floor for some reason. I don't complain about small things because every hotel has a few small issues here and there. I will list the positive and negative aspects of this hotel below: POS: -Cordial staff was welcoming and inviting -Breakfast was included -Evening happy hour with dinner was included on Mon-Wed -Weekly housekeeping service for complete clean and daily housekeeping service for towel replacement and trash removal -I chose to use dry clean although they did offer free washing machines and dryers inside the guest laundry area NEG: -Building is very old and in need of a remodel starting with new carpet and a new elevator -Exercise machines in the gym are poorly functioning -Outdoor pool isn't heated and none of the patio furniture at the pool is usable -The hotel shares driveway with a storage building which is strange -Side and back exits are electronic key entry but need patio covers over the door to protect you from the rain when looking for your room key

We had some property stolen from the room. It took many days and repeated calls before the manager responded. We were told by the manager that nobody entered the room during our stay, but we know for a fact there were employees in the room because we saw them, so that does not seem logical. Will update if I get any update.

Okay I had a terrible stay first of all the sofa had so much trash under it it was disgusting after that the bottom dresser drawer had a bunch of the nurds cans in it so we had to pick them all out of it. Also the dresser lamp had a light bulb that was out. Honestly don’t stay here it is bad and disgusting 1 out of 10

Beds were smaller than I'm use to( double vs queen). 1 bed was larger than the other & they were supposedto be the same size. Hotel is a bit dated- hall carpets were old, elevator looked pretty beat up and temperature was warmer than I like in all the common areas. They had the fireplace on when we were in the 80°'s.

To whom it may concern, I want to report an incident that occurred at Staybridge suites Austin Hotel today. The site manager, April was yelling in an appropriate manner to one of our kids. The child 10 years old was in shock. A few parents were in the lobby when this occurred and witnessed the issue and I stepped in and asked her not to yell at the kids in that fashion. The kids, as kids, we’re playing with the soccer ball and hit the manager’s door. The manager at that moment when we asked her to calm down, requested that we leave the hotel and called the police. I spoke to the police and the officer, James Addison, was very polite but said that if she requested we leave the premises we had to go. We Had to pack and leave within 5 minutes. The police case #22-127668. I would like you put a request for management to put in an executive relations complaint, that is not how you treat customers and certainly not how you treat kids. Our entire team ( 18 rooms) is residing in that hotel and we are giving them our business. I would would like management and corporate security to review the site surveillance videos and report back with what corrective actions will be implemented to rectify her behavior. April should be banned with dealing with kids, be mandated to do sensitivity training and learn how improve customer service. I am also requesting a full refund of my reservation. I had no plans to leave and had to book another hotel at a much higher price. Please avoid using this hotel for future events. I also have asked the other parents who witnesses the event to put a customer event issue complaint. Thank you.

This a very accomadating hotel. It's very well used by many as is visible by the fair wear and tear. I felt like I was still at home cause it needs a lot of repairs. Did I sleep good? Yes Did I enjoy the constant sounds of IH35 traffic? No Wear 'm if you wanna Texas mask policy. Not many wore them. This is a pet friendly hotel for a fee of course. Sometimes we think they're kennel hotels because we leave our pets alone for hours. Business is tough but at this location it's great. The name is a big draw and the interior decoration are very appealing to us the visitors. You have some mighty hard working house keeping staff. Always greet you with a smile and take care of your room needs. So,if you want a home away from home feeling stay here.

Me and my family decided to spend a night here while visiting the Austin area. We had gotten a double bedroom suite and a single bedroom suite. ok where do I start.. The room had mold marks on the walls. They did not provide us plates which come standard in rooms. They did not have blankets for sofa the beds and when asked said they had none available!!. When asked for pillows they said they had only 'one' pillow available!! one single pillow. The room did not have a hair dryer and when asked for one said they had no hair dryers available. We had an infant with us and when we requested a crib..they said they do not have any cribs. I mean honestly what could we expect from this establishment when said they only have one pillow..let alone blankets and other amenities. We go down for the complimentary breakfast downstairs the next morning and some people amongst us who had dietary restrictions asked the chef who was there if the omelette has meat in it and he guarantees us no meat and when look in.. it had ham in it. When we get upset..the chef has this i do not care attitude and when we say we will report this to the manager actually takes us to the reception and asks us to do it. when we tell him we will put in a review ..his response in from the manager is ..go ahead ..make sure you put my name in it too. The manager himself act likes he cares either. Bottom line is that this being run worse than any hotel or even motel I have every stayed in let alone a IHG hotel.

Arrived at the hotel with two children around 9:00 at night including a baby only to wait at the front desk for literally 40 minutes! Lots of guests were at the front needing things and she was nowhere to be found. Some housekeeping ladies were so sweet and trying to contact the manager to help me check into my room. I get into my room FINALLY and there is one towel for three people and I could not go back downstairs to get more because I did not feel like waiting on her to disappear again. Such a shame because the room was nice.

My husband and I traveled to Texas (home) from New Jersey to enjoy Thanksgiving with our family. We originally scheduled our stay from 11/20 - 11/28 but ended up staying longer at this hotel. The staff here is AMAZING from housekeeping to management. They were very accommodating for our extended stay and we enjoyed it all. I saw a few things that need to be changed: making sure the FREE washer & dryers are all in working condition & how often the rooms are cleaned (maybe every 5 days instead of 7). There's a slight "old" smell but I plugged a "plug-in" and it was fine. Other than that we have no complaints and will be staying here again when we return. Thanks again Eligh (front desk) for being so responsive and accommodating to all of our needs during our extended stay.
