The room was fine. The bathroom had a weird and somewhat uncomfortable, but forgivable, layout. However, the staff were unprofessional and, most of the time, nowhere to be found. The WiFi was spotty at best. The free breakfast cost nothing and was worth the price. The eggs and the juice were all gross, especially the orange juice. The waffle machine left the waffles undercooked, and we spent our whole breakfast swatting away flies. Oh, and the lobby and elevators were like a sauna! Overall, I'd say it's a place to stay just to rest your bones at night and take a shower in the morning, but I can't give it credit for much else.

This was a great hotel in a great location. Very nice large lobby with TV and sitting area. Rooms were very clean, staff was nice. They have a pool , gym and a smoking area out back. It’s under a little awning, picnic table , bbq pit. As always breakfast was great ! We stayed for 5 days, room service was perfect.

For the cost of a room here, this is a five star value. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The bathrooms were exceptional with a very large shower. The decor in the hallways and common areas is all contemporary and nicely kept. The area they have for the foyer and morning breakfast is very large with big windows and plenty of places to sit. The free breakfast is very good and can satisfy most anyone. No hot food is available but cereals, juices, and other items are just fine. We did have a problem with the shower in our room and after we mentioned it to the front desk they sent a maintenance person within 10 minutes and they fixed it quickly. I've never seen that kind of response in hotels before. Great place to stay

Bad. Stayed 3 nights. No house keeping. There’s nothing executive about this place. The other 2 star hotels have better service. Iron was dirty, asked for a different one. Didn't receive. Had to get towels by myself. Nothing was refilled. They don't even take the used towels.

This is the worst hotel experience we have had with my family. Staff’s uniforms were dirty and you could see they had been worn for several days. There was no hand soap in the rooms. When i told them, they brought a liquid soap disposal for the showers, since they said they didn’t have soap bars!!. The breakfast area was dirty. The hotel was under staff. 2 guys were trying to do everything from attending the front desk to preparing and serving the breakfast food. There was a bad carpet stain on the hallway carpet. Looked very bad. When we came back to the hotel at night, surprise, the rooms were not cleaned and beds not done. We paid over $400 per room per night because it was the Formula 1 races weekend. What a fraud!!. Best Western needs to remove their name from this hotel . Very cheap owners/franchisees of this location!!!. I am not using Priceline again!!. They don’t take responsibility.

Giving 4 stars on the room as one of the towels had some dried blood on it when I arrived. Beyond that one very small issue everything was perfect, staff was super helpful when I reached out, and cleaning staff did what they do. Planning another 3 week visit at the end of the month and hope to stay again

Not really impressed. Maybe it was just a bad day, but the breakfast was terrible, eggs smelled and tasted bad and the potatoes were grey in color. The in-house store had nothing but soda water and energy drinks. They had another cooler but it was completely empty. So cereal... No milk that sort of thing. There was a fridge in the room but no microwave ( which was a little surprising being that this location is an executive residency ) That's all, staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

Made reservations. Showed up at 3pm and had to wait an hour to get my room. Staff was not exactly what one would call professional. WiFi is horrible. Cuts you off every few minutes and takes multiple tries to get back on only to cut you off again. Pool is small and only 4ft deep. Pretty lame.

Nice place, clean and smells pretty good. Beds are comfy. Took awhile for my room to cool down and they absolutely have No Microwaves in there rooms unless you buy a suite. I would of given them a four stars but the workday morning front desk staff is horrible. Loud, Inconsiderate and childish. I will or none of my employees will ever stay at this establishment again.

Definitely Nothing EXECUTIVE About it. Water pressure when trying to shower upon checkout was horrible. We barely took a wash off 😠. The breakfast is the average hotel breakfast fake eggs and cheap sausages oatmeal 🤢. Save some money and just go to hotel 6 😑

This hotel Is nicely furnished and well kept. It is conveniently located off highway 35. The beds are comfortable but the customer service failed at every point. 1. We arrived after a long drive at 1 AM. One customer rep was checking in a customer, while a second customer rep chatted (talked about kids, vacation plans etc) to that customer, making us wait 30 min for no reason. As soon as the first rep finished checking in his customer, the second rep then decided to go to her terminal and help a customer that just walked in! We were livid! Why didn’t the second rep go to her terminal and help us! We were waiting to be checked in. Instead she wanted to chat with the customer being served by the first rep. When we checked in with the first rep, we asked if he was in training with the second rep. Trying to give the second rep the benefit of the doubt. This was not a training situation, but a complete negligence of responsibility to quality customer service. The second rep never greeted us, or acknowledged us, never said she will be help us shortly. Nothing at all! How humiliating! 2 Room didn’t have any face towels, however there was one stuck in bed head board. We called down and asked for some to be sent up. The rep said we needed to come down and get it. We ended up finding a maid on our floor who gave us some face cloths. 3. No ice machine on our floor. Enough said. I’ve seen broken ice machines at other hotels. But never a hotel that made the decision to not even have an ice machine. They had a soda vending machine, and two out of order washing machines! 4. We had to kill a couple of nasty water bug roaches in the bathroom while checking out. If you see two water bug roaches, there are hundreds more around. Although the hotel looked new and clean, the experience was like going to beautiful restaurant that served your meal in on a trash can lid!

The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbor’s conversation as if they are in your room with you. We were woken up several times over our 3 nights here just by people walking down the hallway outside of our room. Hotel staff wasn’t friendly. No one seemed happy to be there. We weren’t greeted or even smiled at each time we left and came back. The room was decent and our bed was comfortable. Overall, the hotel was just ok and we likely wouldn’t stay here again.

Cindy the assistant manager came to my room without knocking and attempted to open the door while I was in the bathroom. She says with an attitude “check out is at 11, you’re going to be charged $50 dollars for a late checkout” there was no “Hello” “Would you like a late checkout or extend your stay” no politeness, respect or hospitality. Was literally on my phone about to extend my stay online before she came to my room speaking to me like this, I said to her “I wasn’t aware that there was going to be a fee for a late checkout” she said “it says it on the slipped you signed” I said “I didn’t see anything or wasn’t notified” I told her I travel a lot on business I’m in and out of hotels weekly for the past 17 years of my life, I’ve never been charged a late checkout fee. Listen, I’m 38 years old, I started my first company when I was 23, this month will be my 15th year anniversary in business, I would never speak to a customer like this. That was unprofessional. Was literally just waiting on my laundry to be done because I worked 16 hours straight yesterday, got to the hotel around 11pm, woke up around 8am this morning, went down stairs to get breakfast which was less than mediocre, have a group of young women starring at me in a flirtatious way, it was too early to even entertain that situation, go back to my room, eat, organize my things and decided to do laundry. Which if you read on their “Guest Directory it says $1.00 to wash $1.50 to dry, clearly on their machines it’s double that. It’s not about the money on the laundry or the “$50 dollar late check out fee” it’s the principle. Cindy will look you dead in the eyes and lie straight to your face. If she’s married or has a boyfriend, RUN bro run! This biological female is a bold face liar. When I confronted her at the front desk she said “don’t speak to me like this” because I was calling her out on her lies. Where did I sign that said I would be charged a $50 dollar late check out fee? You said it was on the slip. Then she switched up and said it’s on the keycard slip, I said “I’m glad you said that because I took a picture of it before I left the room” then I asked her “since you’re charging me $50 dollars for a late checkout what time will I need to checkout? She looked at the time and said “2 o’clock” I said “you’re assuming” she nods her head and says “yes” because at this point it’s about 1:30pm. In my mind, after she came to my room and rudely spoke to me like this I figured if I’m getting charged I might as well take my time to leave and move to another hotel instead of giving them more money. I’m not one that easily gets upset but when someone disrespects me and then lies to me not only once but multiple times, then you’re going to meet another side of me that I don’t want to bring out. Hence this long winded review. Will they get customers of course but will this review discourage some people and book somewhere else, I hope so. Smart people will read this review and just book somewhere else instead of risking dealing with this mediocre hotel. In all fairness, I don’t even stay at Best Western hotels on a regular bases I favor IHGs, Hiltons and Marriotts but every decent to nice hotel was either sold out or overpriced due to some event going on this weekend. This was my first stay at this location and will most definitely be my last! Rather sleep in my car than to support this place. If you got this far, I shouldn’t have to say I don’t recommend this place but let me just be clear for some dense people, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Fire this manager, train better employees and make sure they understand they’re in the hospitality business. Be more hospitable.

The decor is minimalist. Very stylish. It is CLEAN, and I emphasize this because there is staff cleaning the hotel everyday and throughout the day. It's next to a highway, so there is noise, however, it is a true value for the money.

Nice experience, for us it was a good location as most of our visit was on the north side of town. It also was most free of vagrants and homeless...except for one screaming at the corner. Also, Saturday nights FYI there is a Mexican venue about 100 yards away and the tubas/bands are loud. But it wasn't that bad at all!

Our stay here has been very nice. The customer service was ok. Our toilet got clogged on the first night, and with attitude, the front desk lady just handed me a plunger and walked off instead of getting maintenance. And there was a pretty big stain on on one of our sheets. But other than that our stay has been very nice.

The system was down , so I waited and waited. Ended up having to cancel my week booking and just stay for the night. Mr. Antonio at the front desk was so patient and calm with all the customers that we were trying to check in and couldn't for the same reason. This five ⭐ is for Mr. Antonio because the online process was terrible and he handled it like a champ. He should be running this hotel as manager he's great at customer service and works very well under overwhelming pressure.

Overall, no complaints whatsoever. Everyone was enjoyable and pleasant to talk to and made the stay very comfortable. The only down side I would say is that the rooms are very thin so you can hear what the person in the room next to you is doing or saying which can make you feel uncomfortable. However, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay!

I stayed here on 9/13/2023 and upon arriving the first issue was that none of the rooms were clean. Like they literally did not have any room of the type I booked cleaned. They offered me another room and even charged me extra for that room since it was a higher rate - which is baffling to think the hotel would charge THE CUSTOMER for their inability to have CLEAN rooms ready on time. I should have just been GIVEN the room due to the inconvenience of the staff not doing what they were supposed to. The next issue came when I was assigned room 103, (DO NOT TAKE THIS ROOM). I walked in and was immediately hit with a smell that was OFF. At first I thought it was probably because I was tired from travel. I couldn't get the smell past me though and by 2 hours in, I could barley breathe and almost had to go to the ER due to the allergic reaction/not being able to breathe I was experiencing. The room was also super damp and I realized it was mildew/mold. I then immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room which they did give me. We moved up to room 203 and while the main part of the room smelled somewhat better (nothing near what 103 smells like), the bathroom smelled gross, the towels had stains on them, the refrigerator was dirty and the carpet was also not clean. Upon looking on google, it was then that I noticed others have had the exact same experience as I have in regards to rooms not being sanitary or clean as well as the mildew smells. I have since reported this to the Texas State Department of Health and I am seeking a full refund.

I would have given them 5 stars but I have never been to a hotel that charges to check in one hour early. I got there at 2pm and was told it would cost like $25 to check in early, that’s absolutely ridiculous since the room was ready! So I had to sit in the lobby to conduct my zoom meeting, which was very loud because the floors were being cleaned. Not only that but they also charge for late check out. I will never stay at BW again since this is how they operate. Marriott doesn’t even do all this, I will definitely stick with them. I will say the room was clean, as for the lobby the tables were nasty I got some sticky stuff all over my pants because the table wasn’t properly cleaned.

I was a little disappointed. The room and hotel looks nice although the towel holder in our room wasn't screwed in all the way and about to fall off. The room was clean when we got there. I was upset that we stayed 4 nights and house keeping never came once. The shampoo and soap dispenser barely gave anything so you had to pump it a crazy amount of times to get what you need. The break fast was basic hotel breakfast nothing special or bad. In the gym the elliptical didn't work and there was only one so I had to use the bike. The staff was nice. We had to pay an extra $20 to check in an hour early but I didn't really mind. I just didn't wanna sit in the lobby for an hour after coming from the airport.

Our car along was stolen right out of their parking lot. Thankfully they had surveillance videos and were helpful in accessing the feed to see the man breaking into mine and 3 other travelers’ cars. I think if return to Round Rock we will stay on the opposite side of the interstate. This property backs up to a questionable apartment complex. The rooms were exactly what you’d want.. clean and cool! And the breakfast was trying to be delicious. It was hot, so we needed that after our car went missing.

Front desk staff was super friendly room was great, only down fall is it smelled a little like pet urine, which I totally get they're a pet friendly hotel. Other than that no complaints! :)

  • 1/5 Carlos S. 2 years ago on Google
The check in was absolutely terrible. Know one knew what they were doing. It took literally around 1 hour to check in and the staff did not care about how inconvenience it was. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and that was the worst experience I have ever had during check in. The only reason why I give it a 2 star was because the room was pretty decent.

It's a nice looking hotel & the rooms have a fridge, but there's no microwave in the room. The pool was pretty small, but didn't matter since it was closed (April 21-23). Also disappointed there was no bathtub, only a shower. Breakfast was pretty good though! Tortillas for breakfast burritos one day, biscuits & gravy the next, but always cereal, waffles, yogurt, breads/muffins & oatmeal.

Location is difficult to find. You can't see the sign from the road as you are looking for the hotel. Room had a plastic bag covering the smoke detector. An incense stick had been left stuck in the bathroom door hinge. Breakfast, the eggs were salted enough to cure a ham. Consistently ran out of yogurt, fruit, coffee, plates and milk. Hotel appeared to be understaffed. Available staff were as helpful as possible, they seemed to be under trained, doing tasks that were unusual or unfamiliar.

They claim to be a pet friendly hotel, but when I arrived to check in with 3 small and tamed birds I was told they don’t accept birds. Now, I would usually let something like this go, but we had just had an ice storm and been out of power for 2 days. Austin had 150k people out of power scrambling to find somewhere warm once we couldn’t take the cold anymore. This was an emergency. Our batteries that kept our birds warm were out and there was nowhere to charge them. Best Western’s manager could have showed a little compassion given the circumstances but she didn’t even come out of her office. She just has the front desk tell me. Luckily we found another hotel that empathized with us and allowed us to stay there, but Best Western will never have my business again.

The night we came the customer service was awesome. The rooms were nice and clean. Where it turns around is when I turned on the shower, it was cold all the way around. I called the front and the lady was very sweet, but still no hot water. Now today, when we went to get breakfast, it was a miscommunication about breakfast times, the guy who we the was a guest came up to us from outside asking us what's going on. The rudeness came in when he ran up on us and never identified himself. He had on a hoodie and tennis shoes. We just got coffee and left. I'm not too big on others reviews, however they were not lying. They need a better system.

It took 30 mins to do check-in. Sink clogged, so took another 1 hour to change the room. Pan cake machine didn’t work but sharp 10 they will close the breakfast

Left articles of clothing in a drawer and same day I called to tell them to put it aside so I can pick them up later THAT day. That was Sunday. They told me they had it and are putting it aside. I showed up and the housekeeping door was locked where they kept my clothes. Only option was to come back the next day. Ok fine. I called to make sure my stuff was put aside the next day and they kept telling me to call back at later times. How hard is it to just put the clothes at the front desk??? Finally I spoke to someone today and he said housekeeping threw it away because it was on the floor. I was like no, it was in a drawer. If it was on the floor I would have seen it. We left our room tidy. I asked if I could speak to the house keeping manager because my clothes were there on the initial day. He said I couldn't because they all speak spanish. I said that's fine I speak spanish . He questioned if I could really speak spanish......LOL. Then he came back and said I was not allowed to talk to the housekeeping manager because they are back employees. But you were going to let me talk to them before since I knew spanish , what changed? Finally I asked to speak to his manager and he said he was the only one working there. Then who gave you instructions that I couldn't talk to the housekeeping manager? Like this man could not keep up with his own excuses. I wish I got his name, but he probably would have lied about his first name anyway. I spoke to him Monday (11/14) and Today (11/16) at 12:45pm and 1:30pm. So whichever male employee was working during that time, he was rude and not helpful. I feel like he put me on hold and just stared into space not wanting to do his job. The other folks I talked to prior were nice but not helpful either. I called corporate and they sent in a ticket to notify the location that I will be stopping by today to pick up my things. I highly doubt this will solve anything. I told the employee I was stopping by and he said to talk to who and I said YOU or the manager that YOU said was not working I stopped by and the same guy said HE was the manager. I never got my clothes that they said they had. Obviously all I can do is give up like that wanted me to.

The hotel is nice clean and beautiful. There are Comfortable beds. The breakfast is ok. We arrived earlier then expected. We got there around 12:30pm. The staff were so friendly and welcoming upon arriving. I had some newly frozen store bought food and asked if it was ok they could keep it for me while I waited for check in time. They we're so kind and stored it for me. I really do appreciate that. I took away two stars only because when we came back to check in there were no rooms clean available so we had to wait two hours in the car with our little ones. We left went to heb came back still not ready. The night manager Marcos did his best and cleaned the room. He was very nice and worked with me on a discount. He kept his word. He did clean the room ok but I still went behind him and cleaned it again since I noticed some areas that weren't cleaned and Lysol sprayed the whole room before bringing my family in. I appreciate him. The day manager was also nice and worked with me on processing the discount. I had almost cancelled my entire booking but tried to give them a chance since they were short staffed and overworked. Thank y'all.

Everything was super clean and well kept. We did find some funny object in our room left behind from the last customer and I’ll just leave it at that bc it’s not important but we reported it to the front desk. James the front desk supervisor was a huge blessing and help. For the inconvenience he discounted our rate even though we didn’t ask. He was professional and appeared as a great leader. We will be back!
