Reynaldo Salas and Darla at front desk very super helpful, quick and polite. Everyone was so pleasant. They have a great little pool area that would be great for outside chill. The bathrooms are nice and new. Parking is enough around the Hotel. Rooms are big enough and have a coffee maker, microwave and a Fridge. Best breakfast choices are available in the Hotel Store. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back. 😍

I am going to try to be as objective as possible with my review of this hotel, first things first, avoid staying in this place at all costs, it is an old, dirty and very poorly managed hotel. We made the reservation 11 days in advance, on the Friday that we arrived to check-in we were informed that the elevator was not working and that the only rooms were on the 4th floor. The receptionist named Erika, without being rude, explained to us that we only had that option, to go up the stairs. So even though my wife has a problem with her back, we went up the stairs to the fourth floor, the stair space had a very bad smell, the carpet on all the stairs looked very dirty and old, as if it had never been vacuumed. Once we got to the room and opened the door, a fetid odor, similar to foot odor, came out of the room and hit us in the nose. In the middle of the room there was what looked like a regulator, I took a picture of the device and went back down to reception to have my room changed. The receptionist Erika didn't seem to understand the problem until I showed her the photo and luckily the janitor saw the photo and told Erika that this room was closed to the public because it had mold problems. At that moment Erika apologized and proceeded to write my name in a notebook telling me that she would talk to the hotel manager so that they would give me a 50% discount, of course all this action was faked, there was no communication from the manager and of course there was no discount. It is incredible that in these times a hotel can function in this way, one is paying for a service and the service does not match the amount of money they are charging. If the elevator was not working, they could have sent me a notice in advance to find an alternative, it is very worrying that a room with mold problems is not sealed and that communication between the cleaning staff and the reception does not exist, more worrying is that the manager does not even show interest to see for the hotel guests. All of that speaks to the state of La Quinta hotels, an organization that is not well managed from the top. Please consider this review and do yourself a favor and do not book here unless you want to walk up four flights of stairs and be surprised that your room is foul smelling, disgusting and full of mold. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Made reservations for a King suite with jacuzzi. When we arrived in our room the room smelled of burnt macaroni in which my husband was told when we checked in. The smell was terrible 😫. Had issues with the TV after several attempts to the front desk the front desk clerk repaired the TV. Loved the jacuzzi.

We found ourselves in desperate need of a place to stay when our apartment flooded at the Quest Apartments. The person at the front desk was so sweet and actually gave us a discount on our room due to the fact that we were an in town stay and because of the emergency situation found ourselves in. The room was comfortable and we had our two dogs and had to stay in the room for over a week due to the fans and construction/ reconstruction of our apartment. It was our home away from home and was spacious and I was able to work from the room on the internet which was plenty fast enough. I just want to shout out to the team and thank them for their hospitality and friendliness for the week. Appreciate you and housekeeping for keeping our room nice enough for a stay for the week and also home enough to make us feel like we were able to continue with our lives through our emergency situation! Kudos!

We ended up staying at this hotel after having a very bad experience at another hotel downtown. This hotel was so much better. While it's not the fanciest, it very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and great! The pool was clean, nice shaded outdoor area as well. Even the maintenance and cleaning crew were friendly! Wasn't loud at all. They also had a snack area and the prices were not overly expensive. Only downside was only 1 elevator and it took forever to come around, but we will take that over the nastiness of downtown Austin any day! I think the man at the front said they just purchased the property recently so they were pretty busy getting things in order but we would have never noticed. Location in Cedar park was a 20 minute drive to downtown and the area itself was clean and safe neighborhood with everything you need to access within a mile.

✅Pet friendly, ✅indoor HEATED pool (out of order hot tub), ✅clean rooms and bathrooms, ✅washer $1 a load, but no networking dryer $2 a load. We stayed here during the texas ice storm because we were without power. The service was amazing and the breakfast was PERFECT!

Checked into our room and within 20 minutes my husband and I saw 5 cockroaches. Asked for a different room and that one had roaches as well. We decided to stay since it was 10PM and we were traveling with our newborn. The keys stopped working all the time and we had to get them reprogrammed several times. There was vomit on the carpet in the stairway that remained for two days. Breakfast was okay but the room was extremely hot. Place looks like its been remodeled but it’s run down (leaks evident on the roof, AC, etc.). Do not recommend.

I was in town to see Joyce Meyer and this location was perfect! Plenty of parking. The woman at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming! There was a long line of other women checking in and she welcomed each person with a smile. Thank you for your kindness! My room was very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked great. The fridge worked great. It did freeze my left overs solid lol But not a big deal. At least now I know I can keep ice cream in there! Water pressure was good in the shower. I did have to soak the shower head in vinegar to remove the build up and after that it was perfect. It was just a few mins from the HEB center. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed here the week of October 23rd. My check in experience was very good with Darla, she deserves 10 stars, a bonus and a pay raise. She was friendly and informative all week. The rest of the staff all week was very friendly as well. My room was surprisingly clean. The biggest negative about the room was the toilet seat was very loose. There was an alarm clock/changing station on the night stand, but I could not correct the time no matter how many times I tried and followed the directions exactly. It was off by 2 1/2 hours. The daily breakfast was not good at all. The sausage patties and links were steam cooked, not fried, so they had no flavor and looked gray and gross. The scrambled eggs were not cooked properly either. They were crumbly and had no flavor. They obviously didn't use butter. The biscuits and gravy was barely ok. The best thing there was the waffles that you could make yourself and add syrup. The elevator stunk nasty. Vacuuming would not have helped too much. The carpet in there must have a deep cleaning to help. The most disappointing part of my experience is I was way over charged for my stay. Every ad shows room fee is $84, but I was charged $120 because I didn't book the room thru a 3rd party. I booked directly on the phone and I should have been charged the same or less. I saved La Quinta money by doing this so they didn't have to pay some 3rd party a finders fee or commission.

The people in the room next to mine had a dog that whined and cried all night until their owner’s returned at 1:20 a.m The next morning I mentioned it and I was told we are a pet friendly hotel and that is the way it is. I got the impression she was saying just get over it. Hmmm. Not sure if I will go back.

We had a fire in our home so we were here the day after so in shock and feeling like everything you own smells like smoke. We received extra towels and soap from Gabriella & also a hug, that I didn’t even know I needed. The staff was actually amazing Rey has done a good job of making them feel important & they are. Front desk manager Diana Garcia is now an honorary granddaughter. I will stay in touch with! She’s so sweet, nice, caring. She is the very best. We have to leave because of a mix up in our reservations the room was sold out from under us. I do recommend staying here. You’ll be treated like family!

If you're planning to charge your tesla using the destination charger better try aloft or something, a couple EV marked parking lots don't carry chargers and the spots next to charging ports might be taken up by the gasoline vehicles, this place has only one Tesla destination charger, though there are a couple charge point ports you might not get a spot next to them. Wifi isn't great, had a problems with flush and shower. Service, breakfast are good The service is good, the rooms feel old.

Had to stay here after a fire at our house. The employees are amazing. Diana Garcia the operations manager is the sweetest, smartest & the naturally service manager I’ve ever met. She took great care of us. I am forever grateful she was there when we needed help. 🙏 Bob, Bruce & Hamilton always made us feel like we were at home.

2/5. WiFi was not working adequately, TV didn’t work the best. Room was clean and cared for. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Hallways and common areas dated and in need of repair and cleaning. Worked for a business trip where I only stayed to sleep— do not recommend beyond that. Probably won’t stay again.

Loved the room and breakfast was great. Definitely the best La Quinta we've stayed in. My wife loved the Texas shaped waffles. Juan was so helpful. Thanks so much!

If I’m being honest, I get the feeling that this hotel is really making an effort to revamp & remodel. It’s not perfect, but the employees make the experience. Brooklyn in the front was so nice and accommodating when she realized that the hotel has actually overbooked the type of room I requested& then upgraded me for free. Each and every employee I spoke to were extremely pleasant. Biggest issue I had was the previous guest trash wasn’t taken out,& breakfast is a little sad. BUT they are working! You can see it& I appreciate it :)

This hotel was beyond a hotel standards. We was welcomed at the front desk with a smiling desk clerk. Upon checking in, every staff member there was very courteous, they went above and beyond in asking how our stay was, if we needed anything, and every time we left and returned was greeted. Our room was exceptional, we had a 1st floor room, 2 rooms, with 2 king beds, with kitchen area. The bathroom was huge, that we both had room to be in there at the same time. What was most impressive was, I was able to have my fur baby there with me. The breakfast that Saturday morning was outstanding. So many choices to choose from. If could give this hotel a 10 star review, I would, Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay around the Austin area. We went to a concert in Austin, and had easy access to and from Austin. Thank you again Rey for such a pleasant stay at your hotel.

I realized when we got to our room that we didn't have a handicap room for my husband. He has Parkinson's and needs the extra helps. I called the front desk and asked if they could move us, knowing I'd need to pay for both rooms that night. Personal safety has no price, right? Well, the manager declined to let us move and offered no options at all. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights. As he wouldn't try to help at all, we checked out and moved to a property across the street that was welcoming, warm, and got us into an ADA compliant room for both nights. Also, there was a pesticide (very strong) smell all over the floor we were supposed to stay in.

I hurt my left knee during my stay and when I went to bed I accidently got some of the blood on the sheets. The next day after the bed was made, we knew the sheets hadn't been changed because the blood was still on the sheets from my hurt knee. It made me think how often the sheets were changed when it was very obvious there was blood and they STILL hadn't been changed. Other than that, the stay was good. Good breakfast, good overall service, and good overall stay.

The front desk attendant Amanda was very fast and respectful. I checked in my room there was an issue with my linen and I brought it to her attention and within 5 five minutes she brought new linen up and made my bed herself . This was the best service I received, Amanda went out of her way to make my bed when she didn’t have to. I definitely will be coming back again to this hotel.

While we never took possession of the room due to an ever changing family emergency, I wanted to reach out and thank the staff of La Quinta for being understanding in our time of need. I would not hesitate to come back. It’s in a great location, near plenty of restaurants and very near medical facilities should you need a place to stay while visiting family in the hospital.

I did not get the name of the young man at the front desk but he was very nice and it shows he really likes his job. Very welcoming. Breakfast was perfect and the beds were so comfortable. We will be back in December for a wedding near by.

I’ve stayed at this location a few times and I’m never disappointed. My most recent visit I was greeted by the front desk lady Amanda she was very polite and ambitious at her job. During my stay I needed more towels and Amanda was at my door within minutes very consistent worker.

I have stayed here many times and have to say this is the best La Quinta I have stayed at hands down! Brooklyn has been at this location since last year and has always been super helpful, friendly and professional! I wanted to give her kudos! Def recommend staying at this location and wake up for amazing continental breakfast!

The location is great and looks great from the outside as you walk into a clean lobby. Thats where is goes down hill, as you round the corner to the slowest elevator in the state you will notice all the mismatched paint touchups. The first room had so much smoke and mildew smell I could smell it outside the door. I immediately went to the lobby and requested another room. This room at least smelled good and the AC was ice cold. The issue here is that the bathroom was very dirty under the sink as if they don't sweep the floor, hair all over the place. The shampoo bottles were half full and I didn't have room service so I had to track down to get they stuff. There were roaches running on thr walls, probably coming in through the AC which looked like the wall around was best up. The TV channels would lose signal after a few minutes and start cutting in and out making it impossible to watch anything. I hooked up a device to stream Netflix or other streaming services but the internet could barely keep up and made the resolution hard to watch. Over all not going back this place needs some serious TLC

We arrived at this La Quinta for a concert nearby. We did not have a reservation but they found a room for us. Unfortunately after being in the room for 15 minutes we realized you could hear every car on the highway and there's no way would could sleep. We asked the clerk if we could have another room not facing the highway. She was happy to give us a room facing the parking lot. We enjoyed our stay and it's close to concert venues and other spots in the Cedar Park area. We would stay at this hotel again for sure.

If I could give this hotel a 0 star I would! We walked into the hotel and the lady at the front desk was too busy flirting with a guy that she made us wait to check in after we were already extremely tired. After we checked in she went back to talking to the guy and didn’t even explain where anything was. Very unprofessional! When we walked into our room, there was freaking dried blood on the wall. The sheets was stained and smelt like they hadn’t been washed. I told my husband I wanted to be anywhere but that hotel. Very disappointed!

The pool is inside but not heated!!! We were going down to relax after Christmas shopping & couldn't, it's small and cold! AND, the hot tub isn't working either! If Wyndham has their name on it, I expect quality! Otherwise, everyone working there was very nice, especially James! It was clean & beds fine.....just don't expect to swim in the winter!

  • 1/5 Jennifer S. 1 year ago on Google
This is a beautiful building. The unfortunate part the pool is ice cold and is lacking glaciers for the freezer experience. The hot tub was drained. Both our keys were turned off daily. Highly annoying. And breakfast is supposed to be served till ten and was %98 picked up at 9:30 so, we had to order breakfast out. I had asked for a late check out. 1 pm on Wednesday and I was told that was fine but by noon on we were asked when we were checking out

Very nice place to stay! Easy access to food and shopping! Room was cleaned every day ~ bed made and clean towels each and every day! Breakfast was available from 6-9am each day. Great selection..love the Texas shaped waffles! Fresh coffee and juice made it a great way to start the day! Definitely will be back!

Staff was friendly and helpful. One day, keycards had a problem. Staff kepte updated, worked around my schedule. Very dog-friendly. My dog loved the green walkway out back. As close as 183A is (200 yards), you don't hear traffic inside, except for the occasional sport bike or noisy modified Subaru. Nice to see Tesla and other electrical vehicle hookups. Twice during my week, breakfast included biscuits and gravy! Yum! Useful restaurants and shops across Whitestone, big HEB right down the street. Walmart down from that on Bell. PS: General manager was bilingual. Coming from New Mexico, that made me feel at home, hearing Spanish spoken.

It was an over night stay for us. I booked handicap room, but after we checked in and went to the room. I realized I needed a wheelchair shower. Called down to front desk, explained what I had made a mistake in booking and within minutes I was in a the room I needed with no problems from the front desk. They where so helpful and nice about the change. I will stay here again.

The main reason for picking this hotel is the indoor pool. My kids love to swim, but were not able to do so 2 years in a row already. The pool is so cold and the pool room heater doesn't even work. I don't think I'll be staying here again the next time we come.

Our stay was for three nights in RM#304. Staff was friendly and available. Breakfast was awesome! The room was ok. It seemed clean but in the first 30 minutes we saw two big roaches. We continued to see roaches in our room the whole stay. Whatever it's not like I've never seen one before. The beds were ok. It was the pillows that were odd. Our room had two queen beds each bed had three pillows. I don't know if this is normal or not, maybe I'm just being picky. Other hotels I've stayed at gave you four. Plus, the pillows were not very good. One pillow was flat and thin, one was half stuffed and the other seemed old and worn. This was the same for both beds. The AC unit did not seem to work very well. It would come on about every three minutes and would run for two then shut off. The air never seemed to get cold. To get hot water for a shower we had to turn the handle all the way hot and even then, it was not very good. This did not change whether it was morning or night. I had a place to sleep and had a good breakfast. My expectations were a little higher because of the reviews so I was a little disappointed. Would I stay again? That would depend on the situation. We stayed at another hotel this time last year and when I tried to book this year the price had went up $75, so my search took me to La Quinta. Depending on prices and availability this time next year, I might.

We lost power in our home and checked in here because it was close to my partners studio. When we checked in there were still items from the previous guests left behind and the front desk employee was fast in finding us another room that was bigger. When we checked out we left a pillow behind and the same day I called to ask about the pillow. I was told to call back in the morning, then in the morning I was told to call back in the afternoon. When I spoke to the third employee they said no pillow was left behind and when I asked what the protocol was for items left behind I was told there was a lost and found. Then they stopped communicating with me altogether. I’m so disappointed after such great service to not get one straight answer about where my item ended up.

The staff is incredible! The room is beautiful, the shower was hot. The bath products are good. The bed was very uncomfortable for me way too stiff. I'm sure it works for some, just not me or my wife.
