Sitting inside here at age 33 made me feel ancient. You look around and it's literally nothing but UT students with laptops in front of them but on their phones. There is a sign on the door encouraging masks regardless of vaccination status but nobody wore them -- but the people working there did, which is appreciated! I've seen a few complaints on here, the first about the music being too loud but I personally thought it was great. If not for the music it would have been as quiet as a tomb in there. Seriously. Nobody was in there to talk, legit all students on their laptops. The other complaint was about baristas but the two that I had were perfectly pleasant! Mocha was tasty, but I'm not a big coffee drinker so I might not be the best judge of this. I'm deducting a full star for the DECOR though. Bro, what is happening with this furniture??? It's like thrift store assorted. And not in the charming way of like a Spider House Cafe kind of way, more in a someone went to a Goodwill and said I'll take everything kind of way. Place looks like a common room at a community college which might be fitting considering the clientele. There was a nice little outdoor patio area lit by string lights that I imagine would be nice in warmer weather. Overall, yeah I'd go back, but it's a specific kind of vibe.

Down the road from our air bnb this place was great! The coffee was really smooth. Was happy the gentleman was able to make me my favorite flat white. We loved all the different chairs inside. I did not see outdoor seating I am not sure though. They say 24 hours on the sign but when we were there the hours were 6am-6pm. Great little neighborhood coffee shop. Did not get to try any of the food.

Stressed vibe from the staff about giving out wifi codes. They asked that I buy TWO items in order to receive two codes for the internet; one for my laptop and one for my phone. Also, the preachy straw dispenser 👀 Overall very nice ambience and location, but the energy of the place is anxious

This is a great place to get some work done. The employees are very friendly and always happy to help. It was my first time visiting and this has to be the best service I have gotten at coffee shop. I got the Iced Bennu Coffee, it was absolutely delicious, you can taste the hints of pecan, well balanced. It was not too sweet and not too bitter. It was the perfect iced coffee. They also have a cool system where they give you codes for wifi! The wifi is very fast. You can be very productive here, the atmosphere is great as well. 10/10. Worth checking it out and getting some work done. Great coffee and great service!

Good coffee, a little pricey. The sandwich was below average, not worth $8 at all, not even half the price. I’ll give 4 stars for the ambience, super cool to relax, chat, and work.

Awesome cafe, diverse selection of drinks and treats, for after a late night where you want an early morning pick-me-up. The vegan peanut butter cup, black bean pickled cactus and potato taco, and the Scarlet Letter, a spicy dark hot chocolate, were a blessing of bits of goodness that woke me right up. The atmosphere is also great, a quieter cafe with a lot of people working, so this is a great place to spend a few hours hunkered down and snacking/refueling throughout.

It's nice and quiet, but do not go with your friends or family. Each tables (including big tables) see often occupied by a single customer who is working/studying. I drove here with a friend but there were no space for us to sit.

Love love their chai but honestly, this is a fabulous spot to study :) open 24 hours, and they have a huge selection of seating. I love the lighting, the electric plugs at every table, and the huge tables. This is a good spot to study 200% and they offer food as well for when you’re hungry. The atmosphere is great. While I will say the staff is to the point, the drinks are pretty good ^^ with every purchase, you get a wifi code which is good for 3 hours

Great after hours place and one of the few spots that is 24 hours. Just keep in mind that you have to purchase something every 3 hours to continue using the internet

Such a fabulous coffee shop. Sooo local it hurts. Amazing extended hours of operation. Great coffee. I am on a matcha 🍵 kick right now and their iced matcha latte with almond milk is awesome! Lots of room to spread out and do work. Quiet atmosphere but they also play good tunes. Baristas are nice. They have great regulars which means you know it’s good. Go check them out.

If you like a friendly student atmosphere, this is it! It can get a little loud sometimes depending on the crowd that’s studying there but in general it seems to be a chill place. Have only been there once. Lots of seating with outlets, plus I got lucky enough to snag a spot with good lighting. I also like that they put a time limit on the WiFi access, it helped me to stay on task until it kicked me off. The coffee was pretty sweet, I had the Don Quixote

Stopped by for something cold and sweet to drink. Got an Iced Bennu and liked it a lot. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Can’t say enough good things about this location of Bennu. Every single thing they do is on-point! My favorite coffee in town. The staff are beyond friendly & so well trained. They really appear to love their jobs & it shows! They have a 3hr wifi limit per purchase which I like & think is more than fair. Such a cozy place too. Music is great (90% of the time) :)

I don’t remember their name but they had purple hair in braids and they were so wonderful. Just the pick me up conversation I needed before an all nighter as soon as I walked in. Best place for late night studying fs!

Normally everything is fine about this place, coffee is a lil mid but today I came to study around 11pm, they had some super loud screaming music on, I dealt with it for awhile but then I asked them if they wouldn’t mind changing it, the guy at the counter acted confused and asked me why don’t I like the music, I told him it was super loud and made it hard to focus, he said the best he could do was turn it down, so after a few minutes it sounded just as loud, so I picked my stuff up and moved farther away from the speaker. As soon as I moved they changed the music. Honestly pissed me off tbh. At this point I’ve basically wasted so much of my 3 hour wifi time struggling to concentrate and moving around the damn coffee shop….who tf plays grunge music at a calm coffee shop, please get bro off the aux.

Their coffee drinks are pretty good. Their Don Quixote and Scarlet Letter are my favorites. Their pumpkin bread is large and tastes good as well. Very comfortable seating--even the non-upholstered chairs were fairly comfortable to sit in. They also had extension cords hanging from the ceiling down to each table, so you can work on your computer no matter where you sit without having to scramble for an outlet when your battery gets low. While the chairs and tables look like they were all bought from a salvage yard, they're all still quite sturdy and functional, so more power to them for upcycling! Baristas were perfectly amiable, though I felt it took a little too long to get my drinks, considering they weren't that busy. One of the better coffee shops in Austin in my opinion--this coming from someone who ISN'T a student! I do wish there were more parking though.

I work nearby, and I have to be in at 6:00, so I was looking for a good coffee place that's open early. This place is open 24/7, so they were an obvious choice. The lady who helped me this morning was awesome! She was friendly, and knew her stuff really well. She made my cappuccino without me having to wait at all, and it tastes great! There was one person who seemed to be studying, but plenty of tables open in a really cozy environment. I'll be going back!

Mochas FTW. This location is a great "rainy day" coffee location. We don't get many of those in Austin, so if you simply want to get out of the heat, the darker atmosphere still appreciated. The drip coffee is good, not great though. However, Bennu is known for its Mocha varieties and rightfully so. The Don Quixote is my personal favorite.

Bennu is a great place to hunker down and get some work done! The coffee is pretty good, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Their line of mochas is iconic. I usually only end up staying for 3 hrs at the maximum because of their Wifi policy, but it's an understandable business decision.

Coffee was good, not great. Vibe was "study session" for college kids. Nothing wrong here, but certainly would not rate this highly when compared to some of the excellent coffee spots in Austin. If you're in the area, sure. Otherwise, Austin has many options you may prefer.

Great tea selection (the red roobios Texas Gold is thr best) lots of great selections of unquie coffees (a cold brew steamer with butter bomb is tasty) plus lots of power and spots to sit and work/study. The folks working here are always friendly and make a great pull of espresso. I only dock a star due to they are no longer 24 hours. Parking during the day can be dicey.

Ice coffee was good, but could have been a bit stronger for my taste. Ordered med sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk, for $6.22.

This place is a gem! My husband and I are from out of town and truly enjoyed our visit! I got The Raven iced mocha and it was so good! The vibe is very relaxed, the seating is comfortable, and the lighting was perfect. Would definitely visit again!

Iced Bennu was great but sweet, next time I'd go for an Iced Blennu Peanut butter cup good (very sweet) Super dog friendly and even gave a free pup cup! 9/10

Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop with amazing staff and coffee!! LOVE the pastries!! So convenient! Management is incredibly accommodating and pleasant! Nicole is a lovely human and goes out of her way to treat everyone with kindness!

Fabulous!! Bennu is open late and is a great study spot for student & young professionals. I find their coffee excellent and reasonably priced (ofc, coffee preferences will vary). Peanut Butter cups are also great, but expensive. And Pizza is nice for something more substantial after a while working. As of June 2022, they had no bike parking, but there are a few poles near the building you can attach your bike to if you're creative.

Great place to grab a coffee and get some work done! Fast wifi. Ideal for some quiet studying or working on your laptop. They also have an outside patio area. Got the lavender latte!

I’ve been here a few times. The coffee is okay, especially when compared to the generally terrible Austin coffee scene. The customer service - really, the professionalism - is horrendous. Last time I was there was staff openly dramatizing details of their personal life, the kind of stuff you really shouldn’t be talking about openly and loudly in front of customers. Then, today, a staff member was shouting at people that they’re “parked in a fire lane” in what appears, to any objective eye, to be a parking spot without a sign indicating it is a fire line. If you look closely on the pavement there is a very faded “no parking” painted there, but it’s easy to see why customers would miss it. Yet the staff shouts at them as they walk in, in front of the whole place, that they’re parked in a fire lane as if the people that do it are intentionally trying to do so. Why not respectfully and discreetly mention it to them, like a normal human would and knowing the spot is poorly marked, when they get up to the register? Just seems like a place filled with bullying, entitled, angry staff. You better have amazing coffee to get away with that, and Bennu doesn’t.

Bennu Coffee is such a gem. I spent many late nights studying here while living in Austin back in 2019. They have a great tea selection and some delicious baked goods. I really enjoyed how eclectic the furniture was as well. Great music playlists, really nice staff, and convenient printing stations. I now live in Raleigh, NC, and have been looking for another late night cafe to study, but haven't found anything. I miss Bennu dearly <3 If the owners see this, please come open a spot in Raleigh, NC!

Some of the best coffee I’ve had! Barista gave me a great recommendation, too. Plus, it was clean and comfy in there!
