Whew boy this place blew my freaking mind. Perfect experience here. Location is great. Baristas are great and friendly. Espresso was absolutely perfect when I came by. I had a cortado with their Kenya espresso and it busted through that drink beautifully. Also at 11:30 their barista was cleaning the screens on the machine and soaking the portafilter. That’s typically something you see shops do at close but it seems like they were just doing a machine maintenance to improve the draw from the machine. Absolutely excellent.

Very cute place with limited inside setting. They grind their own beans as you can see in the video. They do have free WiFi and outdoor seating! Value - fair Ambiance - it’s a small sitting area Service - helpful and very fast service but it’s not a sit down service Taste - good and very fresh Overall - I recommend ♥️

This place is a slice of coffee heaven. From the owners, to the baristas to everyone there they make you feel welcome every morning. You can count on amazing globally sourced coffees with choices of espresso. The lattes are perfectly balanced, the cortados just right and the drip coffee oozing with flavor. So glad this place exists wish other coffee shops around town could take notes from this place the hospitality is a 10/10 and the staff make you feel like a long time friend. Just so hard to come by that these days. Plus the plants and decor of the place is super cute but more than that the energy and vibe in this place is just incredible the music , the smell of freshly roasted beans. Thank you for keeping it real and giving the community a slice of coffee heaven. Love working from your shop! Loved my latte this morning always greeted with a smile and “good morning” many thanks for making my mornings continually great.

Update, as of December 2021. I can't believe it's been 3 years since I last stopped by this place. Then again, I was only visiting the last time and would end up moving out to Austin, shortly after my stop at this lovely place. And yes, it's still a beautiful, and quaint place with a wonderful group of people that greet you with that Texas charm, and southern hospitality. Love it! I look forward to coming back more often, for their delicious tacos and tea.

Nice coffee spot in a quiet neighborhood. The atmosphere is subtle and the coffee is great. The baristas are friendly and the pastries are fresh. Seems to be a dog friendly business, although the dogs in the business may not be. :)

Expertly roasted coffee, brewed to perfection by chill baristas who have the best playlist in town. Ideal spot for hanging out or working. Definitely my fave coffee shop in town - I feel so comfortable here too.

The coffee here is always on point, and it gives off the feeling a good coffee shop should. It's a bit crowded and cramped inside when it's at its busiest, but if you go when it's less crowded you can have a cozy experience here. Their merchandise is fun as well, and the staff has always been cheerful. Not necessarily a place I would consider a 'staple' in the Austin coffee scene, but always reliable for a quality cup of coffee and a solid coffee shop experience.

Classic coffee cafe, one of those you see in that movie where you want to have coffee at. Ice coffee was very delicious and both pastries are worth visiting to eat. The cafe is laid back, the barista is very friendly.

Every time we visit Austin, we have to stop here! Their lattes are amazing! They have a cute outdoor spot to sit and enjoy Austin weather. Their tea is also very tasty and if choosing to “dine-in,” they give it in a little cut teapot.

I really enjoyed their Iced Latte and their chocolate croissant. Coffee was very strong and flavorful and the croissant was crunchy on the outside and moist inside. Service was super friendly. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the ambiance and location of this shop! I didn’t like their Peruvian drip, so that’s why I’m giving it a 4 star. However, I definitely would be willing to come back and try their espresso drinks

Great people, great coffee, great location. I often come here to get work done, but there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if you want to chat with someone. Especially appreciate their breakfast taco selection.

Got an iced vanilla latte and a hot mocha- SUCH a treat. It's nice when a coffee beverage actually tastes like coffee first and foremost, then with the flavor coming in after. Would totally visit again.

Best Cortado of my entire trip to Texas, and the energy of the shop was great. We wanted a bag of something that wasn’t bagged yet and they were kind enough to bag it for us. Would recommend this over and over again. Sorry I ruined the art before I photographed it

Cute coffeeshop with an industrial vibe + wine + bulk coffee beans at the counter! UNPROMPTED the barista made us latte art with a seahorse 🥺 🌊 Just goes to show how amazing the staff is

KOOP SXSW show had us craving more coffee, simple search led us to Figure 8. Most outstanding americano this year, ready to go back. Made reservations to oseyo for the special occasion, low and behold they serve Figure 8. Really a quality set up they have for roasting. By the way, the incredible selection of wine is the excuse I needed to visit after work.

Updating my review after my second visit 3 years in the future - still 4 starts for me Overall, the coffee gets a 5, the tea gets a 2.5, vibe gets a 4.5 and service, a 4. Figure 8's coffee beans taste is exceptional. The only thing that would make it better is if they packaged beans in compostable or recyclable packaging and if their beans were at least fair trade (organic would be even better). Understand that they may well be that, but it's not easy to find that info. I also get that tea is not the focus, but the iced tea was very watered down. As for the coffeehouse, the inside is small and feels a bit tight, but there is ample sitting both inside and outside. Their shady patio is awesome. I can appreciate that they are trying their best with the small space they have. In comparison to other Austin and greater-Austin area coffee shops, the vibe is not as warm (based on 2 visits). Baristas don't necessarily seem to go out of their way to make you feel seen and heard. Where to wait after you order or where to retain cups/classes is not straightforward. However, the lovely smell of roasted beans is soothing to the soul :)

So the coffee here is great. The downside was the customer service. We weren't really greeted & stood at the register waiting to order, when someone was right there at the register, it was weird.

Delicious cortado. Fruity and lightly roasted beans in their espresso.

This is a great spot with some lovely baristas. I was very thankful for a wonderful cappuccino and iced coffee here.

This was excellent coffee. The espresso was grade A. They didn’t do pour overs but the drip was excellent too. Grade A drip. Go here to drink coffee in Austin. Don’t waste your time going other places.

Perfectly roasted to bring out the coffee's subtle notes! The deep berry notes in the Ethiopian drip coffee were so wonderful! The shop is small, but there was no line on a busy Saturday afternoon! And you can see the roaster in the next room. They also serve wine. Recommend!

Amazing coffee shop! Great tasting coffee, friendly staff and they currently have Pueblo Viejo tacos in the morning for breakfast! Plenty of seats always available… Love this place!
