Friendly staff, good location and great coffee. Can't ask for much more. Free WiFi too, very useful as a tourist from abroad

Great coffee, friendly and fast service. My soy lattee tasted great and wasn't too pricey. Keep in mind, you can't walk in to order but need to place your oder by the window. They only have two tables to sit outside and eat at - if you end up ordering food. Didn't get any pastry items but they looked great.

Great place to grab a quick breakfast. The coffee and the food is very delicious and the pruces are just right! I also really liked the fact that the barista made cute latte art design on my coffee, it was a nice touch that makes you feel great. I highly recommend this spot, you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful hidden little gem. A nice relaxing atmosphere, some soft jazz music, great tea and latte. Had the bacon egg and cheese breakfast burrito and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a nice casual relaxing bite to eat. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Worth the visit for sure.

We tried 2 specialty house drinks, and both were delicious. The first was an iced hideout hazelnut with oat milk. It was so creamy and delicious. It was not super sweet and was very well balanced. A little sweeter was the iced raspberry riot with oat milk. It was also very refreshing and deliciously velvety in the mouth with a fruit forward pop of flavor that finishes in a delicate, lingering burst of sweetness.

I remember stopping in here a few years ago when staying by the capitol. The coffee was delicious and by far the best breakfast I had in downtown. I stoped back in and the espresso was delicious and service was friendly it’s nice to see that some places haven’t changed in the best way!

There's no cashew milk, the barista is allergic. Not to the cashew, but a toxic liquid the cashew grew up in. I've got friends like that, so I understand.

Hideout reminds me of my childhood. I'm pretty sure their coffee and bagel added years onto my life cause they were so delicious

During my stay at the Aloft and Element building, I discovered this coffee shop conveniently located next to Carolines. If you're in a hurry and find the coffee line at Aloft to be quite long, this coffee shop is an excellent alternative. I personally enjoyed their lattes on two separate occasions, and they consistently impressed me with their quality. My fellow travelers also gave high praise to the nitro coffee. The ambiance here is truly remarkable, with captivating wall paintings and a perfect atmosphere for hiding out and getting work done. It's a hidden gem worth visiting.

Favorite coffee shop in Austin! The baristas are so incredibly patient and kind; the nitro cold brew here is amazing. We’ll always come back for the cozy and warm atmosphere.

Friendly staff. Great coffee and food. CBD is an optional add-on. I recommend the pesto sandwich and the cheesecake.

Really good position but the lady who served me was not friendly at all. We arrive in the moment they were closing the kitchen (like 3 minute later) and she refused to ask if it was possible to cook something. So rude. The bagel was old and no tasty at all, served with the cheapest cheese I've ever eat.

Lovely staff and charming place retaining the aura of coffee shops from a bygone era, with warm wood and art on the wall from local artists and potted plants to give out a cozy vibe

Their house drinks are excellent hot or iced and they have the best breakfast tacos in a 3 block radius! Wait times can be occasionally long but it's worthwhile.

Perfect coffee shop, service was great! It was my first time there and the barista listened to what I wanted and made a suggestion that was spot on. Coffee was great, food was delish! Great atmosphere, people were so friendly!

Lots of people working so must have good Wi-Fi. Hideout Hazelnut is the best latte I’ve had in a long time. Very affordable. BUT!! They’re super strict about not serving breakfast after Noon, rather, AT NOON.

Chill place and some amazing coffee here! Quite a few seats to chill and relax with coffee and pastries. Prices were great and they had some a nice selection of specialty coffees. Easy to miss on the walk by but worth it to find!

Every time I walk into this coffee shop, I'm instantly put at ease by the warm, cozy atmosphere. The smell of freshly roasted coffee beans is simply divine, and their cappuccino has the perfect balance of froth and robust coffee.

Absolutely Excellent! Atmosphere in the morning was subtly festive and relaxed with folksy holiday music. Had the Hideout Hazelnut Latte before work (great quality and not too sweet!), with a Gluten Free coffee cake (yummy!). I came by for a hot tea in the evening. Customer service was excellent both in the morning and evening: Will absolutely come back the next time I'm in town. Thanks!

This charming coffee shop has something for everyone. I tried one of the house specials and it was the perfect way to start the day. There were tons of people in for a relaxing morning or a quick stop before starting another hectic day. The staff was incredibly friendly and charming. They could sense I was in a bit of a hurry and I was surprised with how quickly the line went. I didn’t have time for a breakfast sandwich but the artisan crafting them behind the counter made them look exceptionally delicious. Will always keep this shop in mind for my next morning stop in Austin.

Loved this place. The coffee wasn’t overwhelming, it was just right. The staff is friendly and it shows they enjoy their job. The music was SPOT ON! Never have I ever heard so many favorites in one sitting. The atmosphere was very calm and enjoyable. Definitely worth the visit!

This was the first local coffee shop I visited when I moved to Austin five years ago. They know my name, my favorite drinks and make me feel like part of the community. The coffee is good, the building is great and I love to catch the occasional improv show.

Krikaoli recommends it! If you like coffee and an unusual place, this is the right niche for you. The chocolate chip cookie is terrible. I was looking for some coffee restaurant, and everything was already closed, at 10 pm, and found this one. They don't serve the expresso coffee in mugs, but it is a lovely coffee and ambiance.

Food and atmosphere is great. The service was not, however. The lady with dark, curly hair who was working at the time was very terse when I asked any questions, and made no eye contact. Will not be returning.

Service and coffee were great. I was expecting the improv theater to be open, but it wasn’t due to covid. It has some seats outside if you want to enjoy outdoors and it is located on a street with a lot of activity so it is fun if you want to see a glimpse of Austin.

We got a raspberry cream Italian soda and bacon breakfast burritos. The soda could have been a little sweeter, but was still tasty! The breakfast burritos were super classic and were exactly like what you would make at home. Watch out for the green salsa! The spice sneaks up on you!

Superb place for laughs, caffeine and food. Shows got the hook for now due to #CVD but if we ALL wear our masks and get our shots, we will be laughing (with tears) in a year from now how we let this get out of hand. Until then, watch George Carlin on YouTube , my king of comedy. And get your coffee fix at the Hideout with Demarius.
