Cafe Bar Coffee shop Espresso bar

👍👍 I stumbled upon Austin Grind while getting breakfast. The inside is cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The cashier was nice and very descriptive of the coffee I requested. The coffee was great and the prices are good. I’ll be back for some different flavor coffee. People often mention coffee, good, latte,

I'm probably going to come back here. It is too close and convenient not to. If the staff has zero issues talking about their customers while they're around then I refuse to feel guilty about never tipping here again. "Just so you know, we'll be closing in a few minutes." That is literally all you need to say. Maybe when I was paying, maybe when you delivered my drink. If I got there after closing you could have just said "We're closed". Instead I'm looking at my laptop while three baristas are loudly talking at each other about how some people are the *problem* if they don't call ahead to establish when a store is open. Passive aggressive? Yes! Helpful to someone who doesn't know when the store closes? No. Could this issue have been solved with words instead of attitude? YES.

TLDR: solid coffee and pastry I ordered a large iced latte and a banana chocolate muffin the iced latte was *massive*, and relatively tasty. It could have been a bit better, but the value was fantastic, so I can’t blame them much. The muffin was pretty darn good as well. Service was fast, so no real complaints there. Overall, pretty good place for a stop on the way to work.

Was really excited to try this place but what a disappointment. Got a simple oat latte, couldn’t even drink it so it ended up down the drain and my husband said his white chocolate mocha was also not good. Just wasted our $ and time here.. should have stuck with our usual Summer Moon or probably anywhere else would be better than here. Do not recommend. To add, the people that work there were not even that friendly…

Large sizes!! You can get an absolutely HUGE iced latte here which I love. The stuffed croissants are super yummy (great for a quick breakfast or lunch) and they have tasty pastries as well. Has a drive thru and is wheelchair accessible.

Everyone that works here is so, SO sweet and considerate. My London fog always tastes perfect and the pastries are my favorite in Austin! I love this little coffee shop ❤️

How have I never thought to review yall??? 10/10 service always. The owner is an absolute doll, the pasties they get are local, and their food/ drinks hit, they have Amy’s ice cream, and the employees are all sweeties. I work nearby and they are my daily go to! There are a ton of great coffee shops in our city, but their kind atmosphere and DELICIOUS goods make them my favorite👍🏽💞 if you’re in the area, it’s fully worth stopping in!

Amazing staff. Great day for pastries and hot coffee after a run on the Walnut Creek trail nearby. Coffee and muffins were the best.

The staff was wonderful and it's a very clean, chic place with some cute mugs for sale. The pastries look good and fresh. I had the apple fritter and it was delicious with icing on top! It was thick and cakey though, which I tend to like them a bit crispy, but it was good all the same. The coffee tasted burnt and very black and I'm just not macho enough for that 😆

This place has had more misses of late than not. This is the coffee I got through the drive through today. It is not a fancy latte or cappuccino. This is drip coffee that I asked for with some milk. The picture shows is darker in color, it was more light in reality. I hardly taste any coffee or milk/cream for that matter. It just tastes like colored hot water. On other occasions, they have completely missed to add any milk. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Tried their Latte , apple juice and chocolate chip cookie. Kid friendly atmosphere and has a good vibe. One of the best coffee shops around. Must visit if you are in the area.

Great local coffee spot with a low-key vibe. I come here once a week for a one on one meeting for projects. There is always seating outside when I come here. Inside seating is hit or miss, though. This isn't a large place.

I stopped in to grab some coffee for my drive back to Houston, and I'm happy with my decision to come here. It was packed and super busy, I do see why. The girl behind the counter was still smiling and friendly, aside from the chaos around her. Lol I ordered a large vanilla brown sugar latte with oatmilk.... it was a perfect balance. I hate sweet coffee drinks, and this was just.... perfect!! I'm happy I got a large one. I'll be back!!

Not sure what everyone else is getting but I've had the drip coffee twice and it was pretty bad both times. I was really hopeful for this coffee shop after moving to the neighborhood, but if your most basic coffee isn't any good, it's not for me. I will say the service is fine, and the food and atmosphere was good. They'd benefit from a self service milk and sugar area as well.

Breakfast tacos are actually pretty decent and I like their coffee. I like that they bring your food out to you. Must DEF try!

Hubby & I stopped by after dinner for a pick-me-up coffee. We both wanted a cold/frozen drink & we’re delighted to learn this place had just what we were craving. Hubby ordered the blended mocha with an extra shot of espresso & I ordered the blended chunky monkey with an extra shot of espresso. We also ordered a blueberry scone- which they warmed to perfection. We opted to sit outside & enjoy our drinks. This place gets 5 stars & a repeat visit from us when we’re back on this side of town. Thank you Austin Grind!!

Coffee is good and service is great! Big bummer getting their taco deal on Tuesday and it seems like they just use what they top their bagels/sandwiches with and put it in a tortilla. :/

Grayson was extremely rude gave me watery blended coffee and incorrect order..when I called to get my issue resolved he accused me of lying and said he will not provide me a refund for my bagels stating he made it himself… I have a video of my order and the items which CLEARLY SHOWS ITEMS MISSING. Horrible experience ever. Been a customer here for 4 years and now I’m never going back, I haven’t received a callback from the manager as he stated. It’s been 24 hours now, my issue has not been resolved.

Best coffee house in Austin! Will go out of my way to make a stop here! Iced White Chocolate Mocha is to die for.
