Walked in here and thought I was in the wrong place at first. This place has coffee up front. It smelled amazing and the ones I saw them make looked delicious. Now for what I came for… there’s a long bar with tons of taps. They definitely have something for everyone here. Ample seating, good music and good service. Beer was perfect temp and poured perfectly.

Wide variety of music keeps the atmosphere interesting in this super relaxed hangout. Semi covered outdoor patio between the buildings is awesome.

Amazing unique coffee shop. They are located inside an industrial plaza with breweries, so it’s a nice spot to get coffee before. They roast their coffee in the back of the coffee shop, so the entire place smells of great coffee.

Good selection of whole bean coffee. Chai latte was good. Vibe was fun. In a row of cool warehouse venues. Easy access from the freeway if you want to stop on your way through Austin.

A coffee shop with a unique vibe, roasting their own coffee. It makes for a special brew. Their house drip coffee was great with a complex flavour. Helpful staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere when we visited in the morning, though the line up did grow later on. ( Seems to be a popular place to pick up coffee to go). Plenty of tables and some with outlets for using digital devices. - The themed cartoon style graffiti art makes for a great backdrop if you are wanting to conduct online meetings while drinking your coffee! They serve beer as well!

I have been in search of a coffee shop to chill, read, or work. Spokesman South May just be in my top 3. Big indoor area with a smaller outdoor staying area in between buildings. Came in at about 8:35 am on a Tuesday. They were already out of breakfast tacos (bummer) but I grabbed a mushroom and cheese croissant from Sour Duck pastries since I didn't want something sweet. It was croissant-y and ok. I grabbed a cup of drip coffee and the price is the same as other coffee shops with refills being $1.50. I'm sitting near the door and man, this place is busy! Lots of people coming in to grab their cup of Joe and then heading out. I wanted to put in my head phones but damn..the music is super loud so that's a negative. I mean I understand having some background music but this is a bit much. Other than that, I can see coming here to get some work done to get out of the house. Might even come back to grab a beer...

Loved it here. Posted out for awhile while my car was being worked on. Comfortable place to sit and get some work done. Coffee and tea was very good, atmosphere and music was great, everyone was very friendly. WiFi being good isn’t a given in coffee shops but I was able to work through the afternoon with no issues. Happy I lucked into wandering in during car service, will definitely be back!

Home of the Lager Jam! Always plenty of local draft beer and freshly roasted coffee options, plus a few snacks. Part of the colorful, diverse St. Elmo area, with generally adequate parking. 😎

Great drinks and lots of seating for working or hanging out with friends. Matcha latte or golden milk with vegan milk options. Water station with reusable cups are provided inside. The line is pretty long in the mornings as lots of people nearby are getting a coffee fix.

Such a fun vibe - love the art on the walls and the punk soundtrack! - and mad decent coffees. Spokesman also has a pretty killer tap wall of beers - awesome surprise, given that they share a strip center with a distillery and my personal favourite brewery in Austin (St Elmo)

Nothing much to be said about the coffee here except that it is a very small cup when you pay $6 for a cappuccino. Ambience is different. Goes with the city s vibe. 3 stars for that.

In East Congress next to a Tesla dealership is an industrial part of town with tons of crafts breweries, a winery, distilleries and Spokesman Coffee. Walk inside and you're surrounded by an industrial space with high ceilings and murals on literally every wall. It's quirky and beautiful! Walk up the the barista and order a coffee from a full coffee menu. They roast their beans and sell it across the country. Next to the coffee bar is an actual bar with beers on tap from ales to cider and even a fruit punch and pickle sour type drink. I ordered a vanilla latte for over just $6, tapped into their wifi and found open seating in the back patio. Only 3-5 tables are near outlets inside, but the back patio has a few outlets. However, the wifi isn't as strong outside.

Absolutely love this coffee joint and who doesn’t like beer on tap. Love the vibe here and it’s right next to so many others breweries. If you are getting your service done at the Tesla service center, get your coffee. Latte is amazing and great selection of other drinks and good seating.

Chill vibes. Barista was very helpful. Reasonable prices. Cold brew drink came free with the purchase of roasted coffee bag.

Spokesman is the epitome of Austin's hipster coolness. As you enter, you're hit with an eclectic mix of vibes that scream "I was into craft coffee before it was cool." The coffee? Classic, dang good, and hits the right spot. But wait, there's more – they've got a beer selection that could make any brew enthusiast weak in the knees. It's like your favorite indie band and a top-tier barista teamed up to create the ultimate hangout. Spokesman: where hipster vibes meet coffee and beer bliss.

The coffee is so good and they bring in a really great beer selection on tap. I’ve not actually tried any food yet. Parking is tough but I like this spot.

Spokesman is hands down my favorite place for a beer, coffee, or tea in South Austin. They make sure to carry a great mix of local Texas beers, and their team is super well educated on each. They’re sure to find something you’ll like. It’s a good place for good folk to gather.

Awesome place to work on your laptop and listen to chill music while watching coffee being roasted in a fun and casual environment. Lots of coffee beverages and local brews to choose from. Great WiFi. Bar had a hook for my backpack and an outlet for my computer which were so appreciated!! Definitely will be back when working in Austin.

Love this place. Excellent coffee. Great pastries from sour duck. Skip the tacos and go to Kings.

Great place to grab a coffee or tea, setup your laptop to work, study, or read a book. Fantastic atmosphere and a super friendly staff. If you're looking for food however, you'll need to get there early. The nutrition bars (made locally) they have for sale are actually a pretty good substitute though!

Industrial 🏭 and serious about their coffee! Spokesman is covered in murals and taps for cold brew, beer, Kombucha and even sparking Gatorade. They play great music and it’s a lively atmosphere for meeting up with friends or working. I love the diversity I saw there— a true cross section of Austin cultures. Baristas we’re nice 😊 Parking was pretty easy and there are food trucks connected to some of the other wine/beer/sake places in the same complex.

Very cool atmosphere and friendly staff. I had fresh peach iced tea and it was perfect . Small but eclectic menu and just enough for what we wanted

The breakfast tacos are a bit small but decent in taste. The salsa for them was amazing! Great service and atmosphere! They have a ton of craft beers on tap as well

We had the cortado and an almond milk latte. They don’t have sugar free syrup which kinda sucks.. BUT even though I normally always need sweetener in my lattes, this was so good without! Extremely impressed. And the vibe is super cool. Also has beer available. Good day or nighttime spot!

Loved the cappuccino here. They brew their own coffee here and the cappuccino had perfect coffee strength. Haven’t had such a good cappuccino in a while. Great work spokesman coffee!

The Spokesman is a neat spot tucked away just off of the South end of South Congress. It’s a great café by day and bar by night (or bar by day, your choice). They have an excellent selection of local and craft brews and they roast their own coffee in house; it’s well worth a stop for lunch or to hang out and work. A good place to grab a bite or brew, then head out to crawl the rest of The Yard’s nighttime offerings.

Love the art work on the walls. Enjoyed a caramel latte with oat milk and a chocolate croissant. Barista was helpful helping me choose the perfect drink. Will need to go back for the beer. Visited during Cap 10K Coffee House Tours.

What a great place! Atmosphere is wonderful.. They have lots of choices for all. I love Espresso and both locations know how to draw, pour etc. Have a few Espressos dialed in too choose from each time. They are great!

Good spot to sit back and relax with your cup of coffee or a bottle of beer. It has a relaxing ambience with good, not too loud music. I had a cup of cappuccino, catching up with my friend who had a Corrado.
