5 STARS! EXCELLENT! DELICIOUS! Tasty homemade baked items like cookies, brownies, bread, cakes, sandwiches and more! Yummy fresh roasted coffee and iced coffee drinks! Very cute hole-in-the-wall artsy coffee shop locally owned and operated. I had their delicious toast with their homemade jam and butter OMG definitely try it. Also got their BLT&A, and WOWWWW it's my new favorite. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating but it's a very small spot so if you come at lunch be prepared to do take-out if all the tables are full. I went at noon and there was a place to sit inside. Definitely my new favorite coffee shop!

The people that work here are so incredibly nice!! This place is amazing. I’ve been here a few times now and will drive out of my way to have a matcha latte and Super Bun breakfast sandwich. Small place with additional seating in the back but it’s a great vibe. My favorite coffee place in Austin by far!!

Holy smokes. Get a breakfast sandwich - you won’t regret it. The spinach and tomato frittata super bun was 10/10 - flavorful, fresh, and remarkably light for a breakfast sandwich. Also enjoyed the gingerbread scone. Coffee was good, though not particularly memorable. Cute shop. I would definitely come back again.

I have mainly ordered grab and go items. Their oat milk iced latte is very good 👍🏼 and I also ordered an apple cinnamon muffin, which was moist and delicious. They have lots of items and treats to take away. Great place to pick up a quick coffee and a snack if you can find the street parking on Orchard.

Nate’s was exactly what I was looking for: low-key but impressive local Austin coffee shop that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The friendly staff and the cozy house-like atmosphere were a great first impression. But the breakfast sandwich and latte sealed the deal for me. No frills and unmatched. I’m just sad I didn’t have a chance to stop by again during my stay in Austin.

Just off of 5th Street you'll find this great hidden gem! They have a great selection of sweet and savory treats that are all baked in house, as well as house made syrups for their coffees. I recommend the blueberry chocolate scone and the gluten free cinnamon rolls

I’ve been here twice now, both times I’ve loved what I ordered. I go to the gym next door so it’s the perfect quick bite after working out! The first time I ordered the Tomato + Spinach + Bacon + Pimento Cheese Super Bun. It’s a frittata breakfast sandwich on a fresh made bun with spicy salsa on the side. Today, I ordered the Ham & Swiss Biscuit. It also came with hot salsa on the side. It was the perfect size and the biscuit was phenomenal.

This tiny eatery really delivers. The mouth-watering homemade pastries excel, but don't count out the innovative lunch sandwiches like caprese and BLTnA. They even have a breakfast sandwich. Nice to see them offering coffee by the local Austin Roasting Company. Unfotunately, the seating is limited, some window counters inside and a few tables outside. Definitely worth a stop.

Wow, I wanted to love this place but one of the owner Susan was so rude to me, I could tell she didn't like me just by how she was looking at me, I was chatting with another batista and she jumped in my conversation and said don't talk to her because she is working. I can tell she's nothing but hate so I'm leaving and I'll never come back. Do better Susan.

Cool vibe. Wasn’t very busy. Service was snooty, and my cappuccino was burnt. One of the more over extracted shots I’ve had. The brisket/pimento cheese breakfast sandwich was fantastic. Brisket was moist and flavorful, pimento was good, as was the bun. Sandwich hit all the right notes. Cool vibes and sandwiches, off day for the coffee and lady who took my order.

Cute coffee shop with tasty, affordable offerings. The iced chai had a great ginger flavor. Breakfast sandwiches were terrific—we added avocado to ours. Iced matcha latte and scone were solid too. Staff were super nice.

Adorable converted house turned coffee shop. I had their tomato and spinach stacked frittata (an alternative to the sandwich for those who are gluten free). I would love to share a photo of the dish but i gobbled it up. So tasty! The service was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere charming. The only reason for 1 less star is the cappuccino, which had a sour taste. Something went wrong with the frothing process I presume? I’ll try again however. Every barista has their off day. Highly recommend Nate’s!

Best cappuccino we’ve ever had! The sausage muffin and cinnamon sugar biscuit was phenomenal. Cute little outdoor space and everyone was super nice! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!!!

Very Friendly Service! Great Pastries! This is nice quiet spot. I like the seating facing the window. I couldn’t keep my eyes off all the healthy drink options they have. It’s not hard to find so if you near them I suggest you stop by. The menu is loaded with good food options from what I could see!

Really solid coffee shop! Wish it was closer to me down South Lamar. They’ve got very fresh baked goods and superb coffee all in a great atmosphere with a nice patio when the weather is great like right now (October).

Nates has a great vibe and great baked goods. There is a lot of seating outside, but it's coming up on being too hot to enjoy without indoor seating open. Will definitely still be coming back, but I consider it a higher quality, better made to-go baked goods and coffee stop for now!

We really like this place! In a little house in downtown Austin with outdoor seating, we grab some coffee and pastries. I had the golden milk latte which was really good and have some nice flavors. I will say it was a little gritty towards the end, but I didn't mind and actually enjoyed the taste and texture. My wife liked the Butter coffee and we ordered some of the pastries including a glutten free blueberry muffin which was pretty good The place was nice, cozy and clean and the service was really good.

Wonderful experience. I really loved the service and friendly suggestions. The coffee is out of this world good!! I'm soooo picky about my lattes since I am a former batista and this one gets a golden star for a robust flavor profile that isn't too overpowering. Their frittata sandwiches are what really make them stand out here. It's not something you normally find elsewhere and every little delicious bit of the sandwich makes you want to order another one. Will be coming back in my future visits to Austin!

So good. This cozy cafe is awesome. The baked goods are fresh and so yummy! I ordered a club sandwich and cherry chocolate scone. They were all delicious. The staff is so sweet and genuine. I can’t wait to frequent this place.

Coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, are all fantastic. The staff is incredibly kind. A very low-key, neighborhood shop where they'll remember your name after only a few visits. Highly, highly recommend.

I’ve been coming to Nate’s baked goods for years. It’s a seriously underrated coffee and baked goods shop. Their blueberry scones are heavenly - easily the best I’ve had. Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious - I love the sausage and pepper frittata. Their biscuits are also delicious. They make wonderful coffee drinks - I typically order an 8oz cappuccino. And the staff is super friendly and helpful! Can’t recommend this place enough.
