I love this place. Used to work here every weekend when I was at UT. Parking is easy and environment is SO Austin! People here, staff, their coffee and snacks… love it!

Perfect neighborhood coffee house. Excellent coffee and the friendliest service. Love the quirky decor- particularly the dinosaurs everywhere. Great indoor and outdoor areas and convenient plug locations. I come and get a latte and breakfast taco here at least once a week.

Visiting from a small town in VA. I was wanting to find a small laid back local coffee shop and this place did NOT disappoint. I loved the atmosphere, the employees, the bakery items, and the dirty chai latte. Loved it so much I went twice during my time in Austin. Don’t think about just GO!!

Great spot for quality coffee. Decor is quirky and unique. Place seems constantly busy and the staff makes sure to keep items coming! Will come back to try other items (got the cappuccino 20oz). Only observation, it was a little too hot (Summer in ATX can do that, haha), and limited seating (which is due to its popularity)

Good coffee and great atmosphere! Lots of cute mismatched furniture and decor, feels like a nice cozy neighborhood shop to stop and get a bit of work done or meet friends. Decent amount of inside space and also a nice outdoor seating area!

My favorite new coffee spot, I loved everything about this place! Great location, authentic Austin experience (if you're not from around here!) We stopped in after dinner, it was quiet and cozy, the guy working at the counter was friendly and helpful with making a selection. The coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was intimate, and as a bonus they have pastries! We had some ginger cookies, so good! I will definitely be back, great location, near lots of good restaurants, and a cozy place to study or read. Also, lots of parking!

I absolutely love it here! The ambience is so cozy and it feels like you’re chilling at home. And the frog mug is so cute!!! Also the pumpkin muffin is a 10/10 fr. The workers are also super nice! Even the patio outside is super cozy when it’s nice outside

Cons: Not a very good place to get work done. The baristas were literally yelling most of the time I was there working (2-hours, Thursday morning). Music was beyond ambiance level also, it was being blasted. Overall, I felt like I was more at a bar, than a coffee shop. Pros: Coffee was pretty good, place was really cute. If I could give it 2.5 stars I would.

I've been waiting a bit to rate Genuine Joe's. Also, it took me nearly 2 years living in the Crestview neighborhood to FINALLY make it into Genuine Joe's. IT'S GREAT!! The hospitality from the staff and Josh the owner/manager is VERY impressive. I really enjoy the at-home comfortable atmosphere. Last, but NOT least, the coffee is fantastic!! My wife and I have been going 1-2 times a week for a late afternoon ice coffee/ice americano, "pick~me~up..." I LOVE supporting local businesses and Genuine Joe's is THE place to go for a GREAT cup of coffee (hot, or cold)! Thank you Josh & CO!! Always the Best, :~) ~Scott

Keep Austin weird hipster vibe. Trans / pride / drag promotions at every corner of the place. If that's the decor you like then this place is for you. Coffee is good.

Wow. Really great homey vibes with cheap coffee and great baked goods. Awesome place to hang with friends or just read/work/etc. Tons of seating with fun/quirky decors throughout, and outdoor seating too! I love it!

The spacious atmosphere is a plus, although the warmth might be a slight downside for those wanting to work comfortably. Offering fresh sandwiches or bagels to complement their great coffee sounds like a fantastic idea to enhance the food options. I order ice latte and it was delicious. Overall I will be back for coffee 😋

This place is great! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, it’s all super yummy. The ambiance of this coffee shop is dinosaur and cozy. I love coming here to hang with friends, study, or just relax! The staff is super friendly and always offered good suggestions for new drinks to try.

I love this place...I've spent a lot of hours here over the years when I needed a good place to meet friends, work on my laptop, or just get out to be around people. It's got all of the good old-Austin vibes that sometimes seem harder to find these days. The atmosphere here is unique, and I mean that in the best of ways.

Its a cozy place with lots of artwork and decorations around, so much to see and mixup of couches and chairs to sit, also good outdoor seating, a lively place to spend a good time, the coffee was also good, the shop has unique collection of cups, can ask for cup of your choice if you wish.

Really nice coffee place we stopped by on our way to McDade, Tx. They have a variety of tacos which are really good! Plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating is available. A great place to hangout on a busy Saturday morning

Large iced Three Way Mocha was excellent Very chill atmosphere with lots of dinos scattered around. 9.5/10

When people talk about cool parts of Austin, this is the kind of place they mean. Wonderful versatile environment. Open later than most coffee places and the dinos bring me truly endless joy.

Big fan of this coffeeshop! It’s a really cosy neighborhood spot with both indoor and outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking! I only gave it 4 stars because a good amount of the seating indoors is on stools and I personally don’t find those comfortable but there’s other seating options like desks and couches. This place can get a little busy during the day so definitely leave the grind time for early in the morning, later in the day or choose another spot. They’re drinks are also really really creative I got a strawberry and rose matcha that was absolutely divine!

I love this place. It's got that old coffeehouse feel. My only complaint is I wish the comfy couch in the back room was elevated so I could get up without have to order rappelling equipment. Lol
