Flamingo Cantina is a great venue to see some amazing bands perform! Saw Etana here for the second time and it was just as amazing as the first time! Fun, friendly people and a great atmosphere!

Awesome Reggae club. If u want awesomeness inayabones then go here The best artist perform here. Mykal Rose played with Jah 9 the true Queen of Sheba, Richie Spice and many more. Excellent sound quality for about two thousand square feet is the entirety of the Cantina. Cbd friendly. Smoking in loft. These artists pack stadiums in Europe!!!!! Too Blessed to have them as guests although there shoulda been a coronation.

I'm not familiar with their regular programming, but the Punk vs Rockabilly show at SXSW is amazing!

Fun venue! Went to the Ska Punk International Festival. Patio upstairs. Lots of spots to sit down on risers. No locks on the bathroom doors which was weird but ok.

The year was 2008 for the Southwest myself Festival when I went to meet my favorite artist of all time at that time she was very unknown but she is the queen of Spanish rap known as the Mala Rodriguez she gave me the opportunity to dance with her and one of her songs because I went and drag that was a stunning move from her aside from one to meet me after the show which allowed me to produce myself and tell her how much I admire and meant to me the lyrics of her current songs nowadays it's like me being her best friend literally I love her and I will never remember the day that I took that weird decision just to show up without letting anybody else know because I found out two days prior this show and I just went for it and I had a blasting time.

The Flamingo Cantina show was an unforgettable experience! The energy was through the roof, and the reggae vibes were in full effect. From start to finish, the performance was a showcase of talented musicians and captivating vocals. The venue was the perfect setting for a night of lively reggae music, with a cozy and intimate atmosphere that allowed the audience to fully immerse themselves in the sound. I highly recommend checking out a show at the Flamingo Cantina for anyone looking for an electrifying evening of reggae music. 🎶🔥 #kmiloDrumSenpai #dubtrine

Great music venue with fun lineups throughout the week including free shows, lovely bartenders and tasty drinks! Have not had the food yet, it is cash only and smells good, although served in the back by the green room and restrooms. Love the stadium style seating and stage, and the upstairs for a nice open air spot to look down at the music and crowds.

FANTASTIC! ID/Vax/Mask policy. Authentic Jamaican food that smells AMAZING (I heard the jerk is addictive!). Friendly staff. Seating and standing room. Excellent set up, where smokers can go OUTDOORS, UPSTAIRS, and still see the show, while no one breathes their smoke! That was a relief. Last reggae show I went to (in another state) was full of cig/reefer. Water pitcher is very welcome to avoid several awkward interactions with bar staff when you don't drink alcohol. The sound quality was GREAT and they even have a hoola hoop in a corner! Swooped that up real fast during the main act. It's so cool they don't just play 'reggae', but ALL Jamaican music! WOULD RECOMMEND!

Too hot to enjoy drinks. Needs better airflow/AC to keep guest comfortable.

Came here for some shows in November. Music sounds great and plenty of room to move around. There are also some bleachers on the side and the back that are nice when you just want to sit down for a little bit.

The staff are friendly and I love this place. I come here all the time and of all the places I could go on 6th this is the most laid back and chill spot with little noise (other than live music), decent priced drinks, friendly staff, great upstairs patio, plenty of seating, and a chill vibe. I have no reason to go anywhere else

The place is right next to the SXSW festival main venues around Austin convention center. So... everyone is around here in March and they have 3+ gigs each day during spring break, all with the good selection of South by Southwest. Underground-ish place of east 6th street (dirty six).

The absolute Perfect Reggae vibes in all of Austin, Dreadneck Wednesday's with the house band, Mau Mau Chaplains with DJ Jah Bill, (FREE ENTRY) Jamdown Thursday's, (also FREE ENRTY)where artist can sigh up, bring their instruments and Jam out with the band!👍🏿 And a plethora of International Reggae Artists that have performed there, from Lee Scratch Perry, Black Uhuru, The Skatalites, Toots and the Maytals, Sizzla, Buju Banton, Capleton, Freddie McGregor, Etana, Cocoa Tea, just to name a few!!! Always Good Vibes Only!! The patio is my favorite chill spot, with a back view of the stage! Jamacian food provided by Winston's Kitchen, ( Wednesday and Special Events) I highly recommend this spot for All your Reggae needs!

Has been one of my favorite spots for years. I’ve played multiple shows here, and was fun. I usually went on reggae night for the Mau-Mau Chaplins. Good vibes. Nice lil second-story outside deck.

A smallish dark bar with cheaper drinks and an upstairs patio with another less provisioned bar. Nice place actually to hear a band. Seating around the downstairs area is helpful. Nice for sxsw venue.
