Even though Riba George is really nice GP. Her husband George really has bad attitude and should be a receptionist which requires higher level of customer service.

We’ve recently moved a 30 min drive away, but happily travel back to see Lizy Varughese whenever we need to. Coopers Plains Doctors are friendly and thorough. We always feel seen and heard. Amazing Family Practice.

I’ve been going to this practice for a few years now and the service has always remained the same. I see Dr. Reeba George primarily and she has been nothing but kind and professional with answering all of my queries. The staff are always nice and easy to talk to in person and on the phone especially when asking if they can fit me in for a telehealth appointment for any scripts or request forms :) Amazing team and amazing service.

Money grabbing practice that will charge you $65 for surprise Telehealth appointment (that they never informed me they booked) that lasts less than 3 minutes, and provided no medical advice. They will also refuse to provide treatment all in one go so you are forced to book in another visit to obtain remaining treatment. The unethical manner in which the practice conducts itself is despicable. I would strongly recommend that you do not seek medical advice from this clinic. As you can see from the email the practice has responded with I asked to book a telehealth appointment and asked for how much it would cost- never recieved a response- confirming when the appointment was booked for or how much it would be- also I emailed them when they told me over the phone that I HAVE TO book an appointment with them to follow up even though I had recieved treatment from QEII. Despicable. Would not recommend

I have symptoms of colon cancer, so today I called Coopers Plains Family Medical Centre and asked doctors if they could refer me to hospital for checkup and they refused. After asking me about my situation they said they DON'T ACCEPT NEW PATIENTS ANYMORE! I have just found out that some others of their patients being shouted and refused treatments by them. It clearly shows that this doctor has no empathy or consideration for his patients - a doctor with NO good heart! NEW PATIENTS, please STAY AWAY from THIS Medical Centre! Reply to this Response from the owner “Thank you for your feedback MH. Doctors are well within their rights to refuse unreasonable requests which cannot be substantiated clinically. Sorry if this was disappointing and we note your regular GP elsewhere refused the same too” My other doctor did not refuse me. He is 100% willing to help me but he is too far from my home. The reason I called this local GP as I live just a few minutes away from their clinic and that I searched google and found this GP has 5 star reviews. I thought they were good doctors who care about patients with their heart that's why I contacted them. They are not! I am also a business owner so I understand how important the feedbacks/reviews to business is and I have never given anyone else 1 star feedback. But now I think 1 star is still too generous to them. From what they have replied me above, now I feel lucky for not being their patients. Thanks God!

I could not recommend Dr Reba, Coopers Plains Medical Centre more highly. This is a bulk billed medical practice, so no out of pocket costs to see a dr. The clinic has great availability with appts often available on the day of booking. Dr Reba is warm & knowledgeable & the clinic is really flexible and able to offer tele-health appts if you don’t need to come in. I’m really grateful to have a bulkbilling practice in my local area. Thanks to the centre for providing a valuable community service.

Have had a few medical concerns where I was in urgent need of operation or in need of ambulance help with high blood pressure an doctor Reeba an Doctor Lizzy an George were there to assist they assisted me made me comfortable call my family an a ambulance an look after me 100 percent with no hesitation going above an beyond their duties to assist me on becoming better with my health. Phone number on the website doesn't work - in fact it says it's disconnected. Other phone number doesn't get picked up. Try to book online like the phone message tells you and you cant book as a new patient, then if you pick returning patient it tells you the two female GPs don't bulk bill even though thats not on the website (yes it's on hotdoc or whatever booking site they use but it's not on the website itself so you don't find out until you try to book). What a waste of time. Also don't appreciate being so condescending in the reply. Yes you texted me and I'm leaving a review about the experience. Down to 1 star.

DO NOT GO HERE! The worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr Cherian Varughese manner was absolutely disgusting and appalling. I went in wanting to get a prescription for my mental health and I was shouted at “why are you even seeing me when this is not urgent, you should only be here if you have chest pain”. He continued to raise his voice at me and not let me speak. I am a nurse and I have never heard a Dr talk AT a patient the way I was. He clearly has no empathy or consideration for his patients taking into account that my chart clearly stated SUICIDAL THOUGHTS. One would think that this is an urgent matter to get medication to help that patient not to commit suicide and let’s not yell at the patient for stepping into my office to ask for help.

First visit as couldn't get in with my other doctor. Reception was really nice. I needed help with ongoing breathing issues, doctor basically told me he couldn't do anything for me (sounded more like he didn't want to do anything at all). Recommended I go to Emergency. I asked what they would do if I went to the emergency? He literally told me that they wouldn't help me, that I'd be sitting there for hours as they wouldn't class it as a big issue and that I'd be sent home. He then proceeded to type what I told him, printed the info, handed it back to me an that was that. Felt pretty helpless at this stage. Was not impressed with the advice/ service. I don't believe a doctor would be so negligent.
