This was hands down the best activity on our cruise from Brisbane. A beautiful way to cool down while enjoying the pristine fresh water of the rainforest. The guides were super friendly and very insightful and informative about the region, the rainforest, the native flora and fauna as well as the cultural indigenous heritage tied to the location. If I were back up that way, I'd do this again.

We had a great day river drift snorkelling with Will and company. Highly recommend this experience. The temperature of the water was about 20 degrees in mid January which was warmer than expected - which was pleasant in a wet suit. Nice day in water when outdoor temperature was 30+ degrees.

Such a cool experience! Definitely more of a workout than advertised, but we were all pretty strong swimmers and our guides were very helpful. Not recommended for small children or non-confident swimmers!

We had a wonderful time. It’s hard to find something that everyone enjoys (10, 15, 16, 53 year olds). It was informative, fun and beautiful scenery. Guides were friendly, clear with direction and knew their stuff. Definitely recommend and would do it again.

We enjoyed this tour so much! Our guides were very knowledgeable and we thoroughly had a great time! I finally saw gympie gympie for the first time in this tour too. I’d recommend just leave the camera behind because they’d take a lot of photos for you anyway and you need both hands to paddle.

Fabulous! Great rafting, snorkelling, and rainforest bathing on the river. A tranquil nature experience. Fun, knowledgeable guides. An excellent trip.

The river drift snorkeling was amazing 😍 The lesson about the aborigenies was good, but much shorter than we expected. The walk in the rain forrest was a bit quick, but so cool and interesting and the swimming in between was very refreshing and nice. The whole day was a very memorable experience with the coolest quide😀

A must do experience! So well organised and our tour guides Will and Leo were amazing and really added so much more to the whole tour. Being surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the Daintree was just breathtaking and having our guides give us their knowledge of the area and the history behind it was so special. The drift down the river on the rafts was so much fun and the drift through the cathedral at the end just topped it off. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. If you're thinking about it just do it! Thanks Will you were fantastic. Couldn't have had a better guide for this experience. You really made it.

Epic trip! Vincent and Steph were awesome tour guides, full of information and stories! Our time on the river was absolutely stunning, the river snorkelling and drifting were the days highlight. An unforgettable experience in a magical setting, led by excellent guides. Artemis and Leo made it great fun and were very generous with their knowledge and experience of the forest and the river. 5* for everything, even the weather!

We had an amazing time earlier this year with Back Country Bliss on the river tour! The guides were legends, and made the tour so much fun, while making sure everyone was safe. This activity is an absolute must if you are visiting the region! Also love that they get photos for you on your tour and airdrop/email them straight away whilst you're getting out of your wetsuit and enjoying some biscuits.

Our guide was Guy and he was so knowledgeable and fun. We completely enjoyed the rainforest and Mossman River. 1-10 scale I’ll give it a 25! Thanks Guy and Dylan for the floating Canopy experience on the way back.

Listen to me and listen closely. THIS is the tour to go on if you are anywhere near the Daintree. We did a half a day of snorkelling and relaxing inflatable raft riding through the tropical rainforest and it’s very gentle but fun rapids, stopping occasionally to have a chat about the flora and fauna. The HIGHLIGHT was Will, who runs the business and we were lucky enough to have on our tour. Will is an incredibly knowledgeable, kind and delightful man who who along with leaders Dylan and Rob made our day so special. Will is also a fabulous photographer who will send you an album of memories at the end of the day! Take advantage of this brief window before Will is a famous writer/TV star or podcaster and take this tour!

Back Country Bliss River Drift Snorkelling tour is one of the best tours I have ever done in my life! (And I’m quite well travelled!!) Such a unique experience being surrounded by the magnificent rainforest (the world’s oldest!) in crystal-clear waters with tiny turtles. It was so peaceful and serene. The rafting part was heaps of fun to drifting down the tiny rapids was awesome. All the guides were exceptional, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and looked after all the participants really well. Highly recommend this tour.

Our family of three incl 9 year old didn't want our day in the river to end. The team will take photos (free) so you won't need to worry. Wetsuit & boots provided. Lunch was super delicious.
