Well worth a visit

There's some beautiful old buildings here. I've been fortunate enough to see the from the outside, which is more than most people given the current Covid concerns. Cocoroc could certainly benefit from being made into a Melbourne Water museum of sorts, owing to the fact that its very existence was to house the treatment plant workers. I doubt that MW will likely do anything like this for quite some time, especially given the current global situation.

Went to an open day for the Western Water Treatment Plant. Was a great experience. Very well organised. Knowledgeable staff. We found it very interesting.

Interesting historic place to visit Not open to the public. Only accessible with a guide who has a special permit.

Commenced our Melbourne Water tour of the farm here. Exceptional tour very interesting what goes on in there.
