The cooked low and slow pulled beef just melts in your mouth and the taste is amazing, so good I ate there twice in one day. This restaurant is always beautifully presented and clean. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. A must do when you're in Kalbar

Awesome place for lunch offering great good and great value for money. The brisket box was awesome and plenty of food for an adult. Brisket burger was big and chunky, and small mac n cheese was a great kids serving. Nice range of soft drinks available. Definitely a nice spot to stop for lunch or a snack.

Mad scramble to find somewhere for Mother’s Day when we were visiting the area, and so glad we found 2 m8’s!!! Worth a long beautiful drive on the weekend for amazing food and wonderful owners/staff. The share plate for 2 is worth its weight in gold and add a few sides: love the Mac n cheese and American sodas. Fed a family with 2 little kids and still had to take away some leftovers. WE WILL BE BACK. 6 stars since google only has 5.

2 m8’s bbq is a GREAT choice! The young gentleman was very polite and helpful. The meat is always fresh and flavorful, the sides compliment well, and the portion sizes are appropriate for the cost. A wonderful option on weekends or anytime you want someone else to do the cooking for you!

Had lunch at this place after a short hike in the area, we ordered the platter for 2 which had sausages, Beef brisket, pulled pork, beef short rib, corn, slaw, pickles & bread. I have been to many Smokey houses around Brisbane and interstate, and can honestly say these guys have mastered it, my favourite was the beef brisket it was absolutely awesome, cooked perfectly, tender, juicy melt in the mouth. The staff here were also extremely friendly and welcoming and just created the general feel good vibes that are very rare these days. We will be back and eating here every time we go for a hike in that area.

We traveled all the way from Brisbane to try this smoke house. Unfortunately, it wasn't amazing. There were flies and wasps flying around the window and inside, the meat was a little bland and we left a majority of our food. Staff also said everything was seasoned offsite before coming to the store.

Nice day out with friends. Had a lovely drive out to kalbar and amazing lunch. Would definitely recommend the food. Meat was so tender. The loaded fries were amazing. The staff were friendly and service was fast. Will definitely be back.

Nice little smokehouse in Kalbar in the heart of the Scenic Rim. Service was friendly and really good. Food was yummy.

We had a nice lunch here, very generous serving size and good value for money. The pulled pork is strongly smoked. We had some leftovers, so we had them next day. I think it actually improved in flavour over night. Highly recommended.

3.5stars - we had a nice lunch here on a weekend. It wasn’t too busy & the inside eating area was comfortable. They have American sodas, milkshakes, juices & other soft drinks. The beef brisket box was yummy, especially the chips. Lamb Gyro was delicious. Reasonable prices & generous serving sizes. The lady at the register was very friendly. We enjoyed our visit.
