Tasteful, airy and open renovation of a beautiful local heritage pub. Friendly staff, good menu with enough variety and offerings to keep the palate tempted. Will be back.

I really enjoy visiting this cool pub. Great pub food with friendly and helpful staff. The specials menu changes weekly, which means amazing new dishes to try. Lots of gluten free options too. This pub has lots of natural light during the day and a stunning new reno through out.

Such a gorgeous afternoon in the sunshine out in the beer garden. Slick but welcoming decor, so scandi - fantastic menu the highlights for us were the seared beef with ponzu, the zucchini flowers, buttermilk popcorn chicken, corn ribs, the Pork belly and Thai green curry. But the portobello and haloumi burger can pretty close to the top too. Such lovely and friendly staff - can’t wait to come back xx

Ordered porterhouse and scotch fillet steaks. Perfectly done. Handcut chips good. The best refreshing non alcoholic Ginger Ale made from scratch. Definitely worth a visit. Try the Baklava dessert. Sensational!

The renovation looks amazing - so inviting and welcoming. The staff were all professional but friendly at the same time. A good wine list and a good gin list. The menu had a good mix of pub classics with some Asian and other cuisines thrown in. The food was all delicious. Can recommend the fish tacos and pork schnitzel.

Great place with a beautifully redone interior. Food is wonderfully presented and taste as good as they look. Really enjoyed the experience and will be going back!

I love that a group has gotten together to revive this historical space! It's so open, bright and beautiful now. Food was amazing, the schnitzel was great but the salad was amazing! I can rarely bear to eat the old stale lettuce salads most pubs provide, but this was beautiful. The staff provided wonderful table service and I can't wait to see the outdoor area when it's completed.

Had a wonderful night, food was top notch, I had pork schnitty, the crumb was crunchy and the taste was amazing, super tender, and the mushroom gravy was delish! The side salad was also brilliant, as a salad lover, it had everything you need in a great salad! Rocket, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, onion and feta! My partner had chicken schnitty with parmi topping, again, very nice, great crumb, and super tender chicken. Dessert was a hot fudge sundae, the icecream was silky smooth and tasted amazing, our friend had the Baklava, and I sampled a tasted- it was the nicest dessert ever, next time I will try that!! Another friend had the pork belly and thoroughly enjoyed every bit too. Atmosphere was brilliant, not noisy, very cosy. Staff went out of their way for us, always smiling and super friendly! Nothing was too hard. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this little gem! Definitely be back!

Great location. There is plenty of comfortable seating inside and outside. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. They gave our group the perfect amount of attention. The meals were very generous in size and plenty on the menu to choose from. The drinks menu also had plenty of options. The only complaint was that our steak was overcooked, but it was still a great tasting, tender steak. Will definitely be returning.

The beer garden is finally open and it’s perfect on a not-too-cold evening. We’ve been here a few times now and sampled a selection of the menu. Juicy burgers, delicious curries, and decent pub classics like fish and chips. Good range of local beers too 🍻

We went to this pub as it was in the area of meeting up with someone. Loved it. There were so many different functional areas that were really well done. The service from the staff was excellent. Food was amazing too. Will have it on my list to go to again for sure!

Fantastic make over from the old Gaslight hotel. Very nice in side. Good range of beers. Food good. Very popular on Friday night. Will be back for sure.

Caught them on their opening night. The place is so lovely! We only had buttermilk popcorn chicken and it’s sooo good!!! Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Can’t wait for their beer garden!!

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal here. My wife and I had fish taco for entree which is probably the best we have ever had (the fish is tender and flavour is awesome). We then had chicken schnitzel and scotch fillet for mains which were also absolutely delicious. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. The staff were very frinedly and the atmosphere was magical. Can't wait to visit again to try some other dishes and drinks!

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. I love that you get a lot of food for the price. The place is very trendy and beautifully presented after the recent renovation. and I am definitely going back. Can't wait for the beer garden to be completed!

Has come a long way after the renovation. Had an arty older crowd great bar selection and good menu. Traditional pub fare but also some more interesting items. Enjoyed the buttermilk popcorn chicken and the schnitzel. Others meals looked great too. Will definitely be back. Great to see such a lovely modern place.

Just spent a great hour here, tremendous food and really friendly and pleasant staff. The sandwich was way more than id expected. They helped me out when id lost my phone charger too. Great work everyone and i hope it all goes well. Get booked in as people were walking in and booking tables..... always a good sign. Thankyou

We held my husband's 30th birthday event at The Brickmakers Arms and everything was incredible! Mike was awesome to deal with beforehand and the team on the night were great. Would highly recommend for any function with a good vibe + atmosphere and the food was yum!
