I had a great time with daughter solving the puzzles. Ben was a really good host and gave us hints when we were struggling a bit due to our first time in an escape room. Highly recommended giving this a go. And looking forward to hos new escape room in creation.

We happened to stumble upon this gem while having an afternoon off in Geelong. Cant believe we didnt know about this! The entertainment starts even before you think it does, ben was an amazing host and truly shows his passion for escape rooms. Ben’s told us about his big plans for his next one, cant wait! Well done!

Love this escape room. We really enjoyed it. Difficulty, horror and creativity, was well balanced. Friendly host, and he made it a terrific experience.

Very thoughtful puzzles and creative gadgets but really lacking in people skills here. As soon as we arrived we were aggressively approached for opening the wrong door; which set the tone for the whole experience. I would suggest improving on your communication systems and your PR skills as people (not gadgets) are the business!

Oh. My. Goodness. We paid $66 per person on this and at the end I feel like we were scamming this guy out of his socks! This is the most astoundingly professional and immersive escape room you have or will ever see. The amount of care, time and money that goes into this leaves you totally lost for words when you leave. If you like escape rooms, make it your first priority to give this guy your money. You absolutely won't regret it.

Easily the best escape room I have ever done! Before you've even started the atmosphere and feeling you have is unmatched. Ben has done an excellent job creating a legendary escape room that is very intuitive but difficult which makes escaping all the more satisfying. 10/10 will be recommending this to everyone that wants to do escape rooms!

We did over 20 escape rooms and this room was the best by far! Worth the drive all the way from Melbourne. An engineering masterpiece and a must for escape room enthusiasts! Ben was an amazing game host and can't wait to try his next masterpiece!

This escape room has to be the best one we have done! Containaphobia created an eerie atmosphere even before we started the game! If youre looking for an escape room with a small amount of scare factor we highly recommend the mayham manor escape room. It is very clear that they are passionate about this as the details of the puzzles, room and ambience are perfected. Thank you Ben for the amazing experience

Amazing experience. Have done many escape rooms and this is easily my favourite. From the very beginning it was a fun and unique experience, very intricate and cool escape room. Highly recommend

It’s by far the best escape room I’ve experienced! It’s not your typical escape room, there’s no walkie talkie or flash light on hand. The puzzles were complex at times but we had help when we really needed it. The final stage was quite immersive, our group loved it! Looking forward to the next escape room :) 10 stars for sure.

Highly recommend this room, one of the best we have ever done and we have done 70+ across Melbourne. For those looking for a fantastic immersive experience you cannot go wrong with this room!

absolutely amazing, i never do reviews but this is my new favourite escape room. I was jumpscared a good few times but still was fine to continue and get out, with extra time given to us by Ben. He was amazing and funny and I loved hearing about the upcoming room, which I am very unsure if I can handle it lol -peach/esha :)

I had only been to around 5 escape rooms before I came to Containaphobia, but it was enough to know that this escape room trumps all of them. The attention to detail, the vibe of the room, and the audio / effects were out of this world. I have already recommended this place to so many people and will continue to do so. The owner of this place deserves much more recognition for his creativity. Even though I'm WAY too scared to take on Carnivorous, I am so looking forward to hearing about it. :) Carla and Corey

CONTAINAPHOBIA was SO much fun! We didn’t get out, but we loved every minute in the game! Some of the most intricate and challenging puzzles we have seen. The host was so friendly and made the whole experience really enjoyable and made sure we got the full experience. Even the most skilled players will find this challenging. The high-tech animatronics and interactive puzzles made it a terrifying and absolutely hilarious experience. We really loved it! I could not give a higher recommendation for this escape room. 10/5 stars! The BEST Escape room in Geelong!

Was my first escape room, incredibly fun. Clearly a lot of passion was involved in the creation of the room. Puzzles are designed in a way were you can't luck your way out you have to figure it out. The passion for puzzles and escape room is also clearly shown by Ben when talking to him after the experience. A lot of love, passion and care went into the creation of the room.

A very well thought out escape room with fun and engaging puzzles. The atmosphere was amazing and you could tell that there is a passion for escape rooms in the design. Looking back none of the puzzles are insanely difficult or anything like that but they were put together with the right mix of complexity and creativity. Would recommend doing in a group as it may seem like there is plenty of time before you start but next thing you know your the next victim... Definitely looking forward to the next room

My wife and I have done well over 50 rooms together and this room was by far our favourite! We were immediately immersed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Although, slightly nervous to walk through the blue door, it definitely added to the eerie experience. The room itself was phenomenal. From the decor, to the connections between each puzzle. There were no walkie-talkies which really helped to ensure you were well immersed in the room/story. As self-proclaimed escape room enthusiast (lol), we are harsh critics and we honestly cannot fault a single moment or element in the room. Ben was brilliant in creating an atmosphere unlike any other we have experienced. Honestly, fabulous! Thank you for having us, Ben. Your work is magnificent and we will definitely be back to see your next room!
