This restaurant doesn't deserve any stars what so ever. We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta whilst eating the pasta we found a hair. Not just one but several hairs. We took food back to shop and told owner about the pasta. First thing the owner said was "we eat the prawns out of the dish and insinuated that we put the hairs in". We have eaten at this restaurant many times before but after the owners attitude and response we would not recommend to anyone or we would never eat from here ever again.

Would not recommend ordering from, or eating in here. I ordered a garlic bread and Hawaiian pizza, which I feel are both very basic items. The garlic bread was butter on Turkish, and there was hardly any garlic. The bread was also burnt all around the edges, making it extremely unpleasant. The pizza had no base sauce and while the toppings were ample, no sauce really limited the flavor. I will admit I was not prepared to drive back to the restaurant to complain, or to wait for a fresh pizza to be made, but felt it was worth sharing the experience so others don't make the mistake of giving George's a go. There were no people in the restaurant, and no people waiting to pick up food, so I see no reason for the neglect. Very disappointed.

I would like to say thank you firstly xx I booked dinner for my birthday with 20 friends , on a Monday we wernt coming till Saturday x so plenty of notice was given x we arrived my friend said the salt shaker was moldy and all the glasses had streaks . I was like its all good but no it wasnt . Food came out all over the place , some of my friends didnt even get there meal , when I went to speak to the chef she was extremely rude to me . The list goes on they happened to have no dessert that night even though they new we were coming . I would not recommend this restaurant for a party maybe just two people at a time is all they can handle .... the waitresses were lovely . But the owner I swear if looks could kill I would be dead x so me and my 20 + friends will never eat there again .....

I Love Georges. This is a true family restaurant and the staff really care about your experience. The pizzas are absolutely delicious! Thankyou George's for wonderful food and great family service.

Started off ok. We were the only people in the restaurant (2 adults and a 3 year old) Ordered, waited. Garlic bread came out within 5-10 mins. Great. 20-30 mins later, my sons "small" bowl of spaghetti bologainse came out. Another 15-20 mins past and nothing. I went to the desk to ask what's happening and was told 5 mins. Sure enough 10 minutes later mine and my wife's dinner arrives. 50 mins to an hour after we ordered! In that time I seen at least one person walk in casually, order (about 10 mins after we ordered), come back a bit later and pick up his 3 pizzas and pasta. More than what we ordered, and much quicker! Who knows how many orders and deliveries came in and went out in that time. Plus side food was ok (not like it used to be though). Is a one star visit, but the food was ok so an extra star, even though the owner/cook/whoever it was doesn't deserve it. Is a huge shame from what the old owners built up! Used to recommend to everybody. Now I would almost do the opposite. Would hate to see a restaurant so close close, but they obviously don't care about local customers. Do not recommend.

I haven't dined there but have picked up pizzas on my way home from work and have enjoyed them every time however the restaurant lacks any kind of decor or atmosphere.

Nice small old Italian restaurant. Little far from town but good food and service provided.
